Linda, I am in the same boat. Had my appeal hearing on 1-2 2013. My attorney says they may have a decision by end of April. I don't get it. What takes them so long? My life is hanging in the balance and getting sicker by the day. Anyone out there have a clue? Mary

I have no opinion. I had my hearing in early September. I'm still waiting on a decision. The stress is killing me. Do I lose everything I've worked the last 30 years for or not. I didn't ask to be disabled. I'm not just disabled from working. I'm disabled from being able to enjoy my grandkids. I can't take a walk with my husband. I can't go along with the kids to the park. I can't even carry my 4 month old granddaughter. I'm only 54 but my life stopped a few years ago when my back gave out. Now I'm in constant pain. I have a stimulator implanted which helps, but I'm still in constant pain. Here I am, my life in the hands of someone who does not know me. The "30 to 60" day decision is on day 84 now. I really wish I could have just kept working and not face the endless consequences of poor physical health......
