I had this judge last month.... I have really bad panic attacks and hate being around people... He explained the whole process to me an was very sincere... Felt very comfortable for once.. Still waiting for my results... But either way... Great judge.

I just completed my hearing today and I have to say, whatever the decision is, Judge Flynn truly comes across as a fair and compassionate judge. This entire process has been so nerve wracking, but I felt at ease and, most importantly, listened to. Especially since I haven't been as fortunate to have as much therapy so far to deal with my anxiety and depression like I need to. So, regardless of the decision, I appreciate being treated with respect and compassion as this long journey winds to an end.

The VA would not submit the letter that would have granted me my disability, stating that it was a 'conflict of interest'. Only after I had a meeting with the VAMC administrator did they send the letter to this judge. There was no regulation or conflict of interest that prevented them from sending the letter. However, the judge made his decision 5 days prior to the release of this letter. Thanks VA! Now I lose my house, my car, and my child will be homeless while in her senior year of high school. She is an AP honors student and will be homeless. I worked for 35 years. Served my country. SSA's own doctor said I was disabled, the vocational expert said there were no jobs in the economy for me, yet the VA and this judge made a horrible decision. Time for the media and the VA OIG to get involved.

I was belittled by This judge. My hearing was done via video because I was in Kentucky. I can honestly say that Within the first few minutes of the hearing I felt I had no chance of winning. He was just going through the motions, but clearly had his mind made up even before I answered the the first few questions. This was not the worst part. During the disability and disclosure process you have to answer (honestly) all questions put to by your attorney. He asked if I did any drugs. I had back in my 20's but not since. This judge actually said this question has nothing to do with your case, but I see here you did drugs at one time. He said the name of the drug and literally snickered and asked me why I did it and what it was like. I was in shock and felt like he used his POWER to make me reveal information that was clearly something he did not need for me admit on record. It's bad enough to feel guilty about some decisions you made 30 years ago, but to have it brought out and put on record and feeling it was done clearly for his enjoyment was nothing short of horrendous for me. I walked out feeling humiliated and started crying immediately after as I walked out of the door. I received my judgement one week after the hearing. I am appealing his decision. It is my right to decline a video hearing, so I will never have to face John Prince again.

Judge: Peter Jamison

Too early to know the decision, but Judge Jamison was very kind during the hearing, really putting the claimant at ease. He was patient with her and took time to really explain everything.

Judge: Deborah Smith
4/29/2014 1:42:29 PM

I stood before Judge Smith. I was one of the average 57 to 58 percent denied every year. Two of my personal Doctors found me disabled. She gave them, "No weight" in her words. She did give the paid SSA paid Doctor who never examined me "full weight". That has been several years ago. I still can not work and have not worked for every one of those years. I made 50 thousand a year. Now I make nothing, with no disability. Judge Smith let me down. The comments of "honest and fair" of the previous post are the only reason I left this. If the Judge reads this, I wish she could know what I have suffered because of her judgement. I have not worked in ten years now and everything is on the shoulders of my wife. I hope it was just a poor judgement and not meeting denial numbers.

Judge: Larry A Temin
2/4/2014 7:24:40 PM

Honorable? His hearings are pointless. He doesn't listen to the claimants, has made up his mind long before the claimant is given an opportunity to testify. He is paid to be a "judge", to examine all evidence and make decisions based upon the evidence. Instead, he always adheres to DDS's determination, unless your client has taken a sudden turn for the worse. Has zero imagination

This guy doesn't have a clue. That he has been appointed to this type of position without having any background in Social Security law is a testament of all that's wrong with the federal judiciary. Unfortunately, the bottom line here is that he simply isn't very smart. His decisions repeatedly ignore the issues critical to just resolution of the claimants' respective claims and typically go off on irrational and bizarre tangents. He has no idea how to conduct a hearing in a timely manner and is incapable of focusing in on questions that bear some materiality to the issues at hand. God help you if you draw this moron as your judge because you will need all the hope He can provide you.

Judge: Vincent Misenti
4/19/2013 6:30:55 AM

This ALJ challenged my question to the claimant as to what restrictions his doctor had given him. The ALJ said the question was not admissible because it was hearsay. What does this say about his knowledge about administrative/SS hearings

Judge: Vincent Misenti
4/12/2013 8:12:37 PM

Misenti was an ALJ for the California Department of Social Services, widely regarded as the worst in the state. He doesn't listen, learn or reason, and thinks most claimants/applicants are malingerers.

Judge: Christopher B McNeil
4/3/2013 1:28:11 PM

He has stepped over the line, in writing, putting testimony into the mouth of a witness that said witness was not qualified to and in fact did not make. Now is the time to review his decision in your case for obvious legal error constituting misconduct. If he's done it once, he's done it before. For misconduct that violates legal ethics and/or judicial canons, a grievance can be filed with the Ohio State Bar Association.

Judge: Donald G Smith
3/15/2013 4:36:47 PM

He scares me, but I trust him at the same time. I just Hope he doesn't believe what the medical expert wrote in my interrogratoy! The medicaid doctors at the beginning thought i was crazy, and i became very upset when one of them said I was just looking for drugs, I cursed at her and said no i want to go back to work so i can support my family! With a few F words, so of course the medical expert blew that up out of proportion.

Judge: Christopher B McNeil
2/15/2013 10:23:17 AM

True Karma would be for Judge McNeil to have to live with only a few of the disabilities of those to whom he denies any assistance. He should be ashamed of himself.

I have to agree with the above reviews. The average rate of Approvals in the entire country is 45%. He only approves 20%...should be investigated, but of course he won't be because he's not giving out the government's money.

Judge: Christopher B McNeil
8/16/2012 10:42:29 AM

I feel really bad for anyone who gets stuck dealing with this judge. He will try every little way to deny a case despite medical evidence as clear as a bell right in front of his face. Apparently the medical examiners findings and opinion's mean nothing to this jack***

Judge: Daniel Dadabo
8/2/2012 6:12:27 AM

Dear Judge Daniel Dadabo, I wanted to thank you for given me the chance to take back and regain control of my life. You and Nash Disability Law and North River mental Health, Illinois Masonic and Old Irving Park Medical have helped me under stand a part of my life that I didn't not believe. My life long struggles with mental illines and bullying and abuse have not been easy and I suspect that with continued therapy and help from the SSA I can become a productive and postive individual again. I didn't want to admit there was anything wrong, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and autisim are not thing that you want to tell people there is such a stgma around that poeple either shun you or attack you and abuse you, which I have experienced my whole life til this day. Every day is a struggle just to be able to put close to clean myself properly, even being able to talk to some are accept a simple hug or hand shake any time some seems out of order I can become enraged or scared like a child. It makes it impossible to have any sort of relationships or to go to school or hold on to a job or go shopping! Once Again I would ask for your continued help along with help from Nash Disability and the SSA perhaps I can get better and get the help I need repair my life and take back control of my life from those who have taken so much away from me! Best regards, Gregory Tarczynski

Judge: Donald G Smith
7/19/2012 6:19:27 AM

I concur. He seems to have a problem accepting VA opinions. Will often send out interrogatories and ask questions like- does claimant's impairment meet a listing. If they did meet a listing , most cases would not be at ODAR.

Judge: Donald G Smith
6/8/2012 1:30:29 PM

Comes from somewhere in Kentucky (I think)- has the cutest Southern accent and he's sweet as pie. Don't be fooled: he'll deny for reasons completely foreign to me. He almost always send claimant to pre-hearing consultative exams, or send for medical interrogs. Sometimes he uses them; sometimes he doesn't. I have not seen any particular M.O. with him. Just watch out....

he really is a **** joke

Judge: Christopher B McNeil
4/20/2012 2:10:22 PM

This ALJ's behavior matches his low approval rating. His written decisions are a joke as well. If you are an attorney or representative be prepared to read a decision that spends as much time arguing with you as it does discussing why he denied the claim. He is just another embarrassment for the agency.

Judge Daniel Dadabo; I'm Diane Elizabeth Butler, the lady the wrote the following: ("You help me and because of your help I am on the road to healing and becomming a resourceful individual. Thank You Judge Daniel Dadabo. Sincerely, Diane Elizabeth Butler") Well with all that said...I need to speak with you regarding an issue. I'm being BULLIED. The statements I made above are Sincere and Truthful. As I make every attempt to HEAL AND BECOME RESOURCEFUL AGAIN; The adverse actions that are enforced against me could keep me sick to getting sicker and have to remain a liability to the administration. The deliberate action of those who are attacking me and continually working against me keeps me in a constant fight.Medically you know I cannot stay any long period in a constant "flight to fight" It will raise my cortisol and keep it high which will eventually cause another "CRASH" ---When what I'm doing to heal and become resourceful is really me staying discipline and focused. Please allow me to meet and speak with you... my home number is ***-***-****, cell: ***-***-**** Please speak with me.. I need your Wisdom and Guidance... Sincerely, Diane Elizabeth Butler
