Very polite. He seems to be a fair judge he listened to everything from all parties. Said he would review all evidence and make a decision. Court went fast but not rushed

Judge: Raymond J Zadzilko
3/28/2016 3:23:13 PM

Judge Zadzilko made me feel at ease and comfortable with his professional attitude, as I didn't want to be there in this disabled situation in the first place but. He listened to everything I was asked by all members involved and he treated me with dignity and respect and handed me fully favorable decision after all the facts and documents were reviewed. I Thank this honorable Judge very much.

He acts like a typical Judge so I suppose he is professional. Has no clue about medical issues nor compassion, I am quite shocked reading the above positive comments. Problem, these Judges are supposed to be non-adversarial & he does not follow that standard. Seems to forgot we are suffering w/medical condition, not in his courtroom as a criminal.

This judge is a poor excuse of what our Judicial system is about! How is he allowed to go against evidence, from a Vocational Expert, a Social Security doctor and 2 other doctors that all said the same thing! He is a judge where did he get his medical degree? How can he judge someone's pain through a video? All my doctors agreed I was disabled, so how can he go against medical evidence! My opinion is that he seen I was almost out of work credits since fighting disability for 5 years so he did not even read my file and it was a lot easier to deny me knowing that I could not re-file! But the joke is on him cause now we are going to District Court, then Federal Court, not to mention I am turning him in for Judicial misconduct for not following the laws of irrefutable evidence! I have a right to a fair hearing, I have rights! In a criminal trial they have to follow rules of evidence, there is no way around professional witnesses! All attorneys are afraid of Judges because they have to stand in front of these Judges and these judges will deny all their clients, but this judge does not scare me because I am allowed to air my opinion!

My lawyer told me that Judge Gartner was a new judge so our attention was on high and we were hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. I'm in the hospital now as we speak and was unable to attend my hearing due to hospitalization and some haunting health impairments. I was able to get a letter from doctor by the skin of my teeth so that Judge Gartner wouldnt dismiss my case due to me being unable to physically appear. We sat by the phone waiting to see if he was going to postpone or dismiss. Surprisingly he approved my case without even speaking or seeing me. I was floored and excited!! My lawyer and I were amazed because I was told that something like this was rare and highly unlikely. I want to thank him for looking and observerving the evidence and realizing that I am in a position of health decline. I am honored to to be the first person from what I see to write a honorable report on Judge Gartner. This will be a huge burden taken off of my family and myself. I now can pay for my own medications and can pay out my tab at a few of my health appointment locations. I've read only a few reviews and I must say I believe I was assigned to the most favorable guy in the building!! Thank you Judge Gartner for everything and it would have been my honor and a pleasure if I was able to meet you in person.

This judge cherry picked my disability case and I lost due to extremely unethical and irrelevant reasons. I am not only disappointed but disgusted.

I had a hearing with him in october of 2010, my doctor has had me fully disabled since january of 2007 and I still lost my decision. I'm now on disablity 2 years later. I presented the same case and won. he lied about everything he wrote, the guy must not have a heart to give me a unfavorable decision. because of me losing my case in 2010 I lost my pension that I was going to recieve. I wish there is a way to get him to read this and let him know how he ruined my life. I wish you would man up and admit you made a big mistake so I could get my onset date change so I could recieve my full pension

Judge: Lawrence J Neary

This man lied. That is all I will go into here. Applied due to Chronic Pain due to back issues, and Depression, General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and Panic Attacks. He says specifically in his findings/judgement that I seemed to be comfortable at the hearing and DID NOT change positions. I asked, audibly in the hearing if I could adjust the mic so that I could stand at points in time as I can sit for more than 5 minutes at a time. That should have been recorded? My nephew (24 yr old vet) was there too, I stood SEVERAL times during the hearing. I was visibly shaken, sweating (I left the place with a wet shirt, essentially.) and I hurt extremely due to how long it took--even though I DID change positions AND stood/alternated. How is he allowed to lie? I mean, an OPINION on a finding is one thing. This man specifically said something that several people & mic recordings CONTRADICT.

Judge: William H. Hauser
12/4/2013 9:15:36 PM

I have been a non-attorney Representative since the early 80's; Judge Hauser is a rarity in that he KNOWS the medical record of the Claimant. He prefers discussing each exhibit for medical substantiation of symptoms; such a pleasure to present a case to for deserving client to an ALJ that listens and understands the Representative's theory of the case.Great Judge!trying to give him five stars but does not seem to stay..but he is a fiver!!! If your Representative does not like him it is because when an attorney or representative does not know your case, it will be obvious!

Judge: Paula Wordsworth

Having medical professionals declare me perm disabled and in writing from them, she evidently has no compassion for truly disabled, I have now lost everything in my life , i have no home no vehicle, No income, I worked my whole life never took anything from anyone. I feel I was discriminated against by being a white male. Maybe if I was fat and lazy I would have been approved.

Judge: John B Langland
10/7/2013 10:39:29 PM

My hearing appointment took about 9 months. Judge Langland understood my situation and acknowledged that I had tried to resolve the overpayment thru the Wichita office and I then had to move on to see him to resolve the problem. I had tried and tried to resolve the issue thru the Wichita office but no one listened. The Judge recalculated my account and I had a partial favorable decision. Sadly, the powers now are not complying to his order or decision, and the Missouri office has written me 3 times in a month. Each letter indicates there is more than one person on my case, and so far out of the loop. But, no one signs the letters, so I do not have a name to complain. One letter states my W.C. does not affect my S.S. I have not been on W.C. since 2007. Judge Langland seemed fair in my case, the bad part is someone is not following or enforcing his decision. I do not know what to do now, trying to go back to see the judge. It is bad when the Judge makes a decision, and then the decision is not honored by the SSA staff in the Missouri office. I feel totally harassed by the staff in the office.

Judge: John B Langland

Judge Langland looked at what he wanted to see not at the evidence as a whole. Sure I made statements from time to time that I was doing ok. But those times are short lived. He gave more weight to a Psychologist who Ive never met than Dr.s who have treated me for 10+ years. He held it against me that I took my last dime to try and open and run a shop but failed to realize I left the shop because I couldn't handle the stress and **** near had a nervous breakdown over it. He commented that I had no periods of de-compensation which is a blatant falsehood. Anyone who knows me can tell you Ive been unemployed a lot more than employed. I have service related PTSD and Major reoccurring bouts of depression. My whole life is a total wreck. I want nothing more than to work and be normal but I fail at every attempt. I just want to run and hide away in dark places alone. I have stress disorder which makes my brain trigger fight or flight responses. I beg to be normal but Im not and ive faced that reality. Yes people do make positive statements to their Psychiatrists not because we are magically healed but because we have good days and bad. I try and try and want people to see me as ok but in the end Im not ok. My life has been one disaster after another. I hope he can sleep at night knowing he didn't even listen to his own vocational expert. Thanks Mr. Langland for seeing what you wanted to see not the whole story. Ill be filing an appeal immediately.

Judge: William H. Hauser
3/14/2013 5:46:08 PM

Unlike the comment above, Judge Hauser does NOT respect the Law, nor the Process! Judge William H. Hauser fabricated evidence, ignores the majority of the evidences submitted, made numerous mistakes, and was definitely NOT compassionate. He counted WATCHING TV against me, as activities that disproved my pain! I attempted to work but failed because of my disabilities. I worked only 40 hours in 3 months, and he stated this attempt disproved my pain! One of the greatest mistakes he made was this: He stated that I couldn't work my previous work, such as a Customer Service Job where I answered phones all day. Then he stated that I could work a job where I call out on phones all day. Wait, I cannot work a job where I answer phones all day, but I can work a job where I call out on phones all day? Do you think that's reasonable? When they say "fair," it's misleading. The only reason why they say that is because he will approve about 60% of his cases. They do not state what types of claims he approved. For example, if he denies 90% of his cases when the person is truly disabled, unable to work, and has more than enough evidence then that's not fair. For the record, they have a list of disabling conditions, known as the Social Security Administration's "Blue Book." If you have a condition that meets, or is equivalent to, the criteria in the SSA's "Blue Book," then they consider you disabled. The SSA's criteria is less severe than my condition, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - The Hypermobility Type, and I was denied. My condition is easily 10-15 times more severe than what they have listed in their "Blue Book." Sadly, that is an under-estimation.

Judge: Marty R Pillion
11/12/2012 9:46:13 AM

He knows the law! He goes through very detailed questions with the Claimant and tries to make sure they understand everything. He's also good about questioning the vocational experts on their sources of information. His decisions clearly explain what he used to come to that decision, and he explains how much a claimant would really be expected to work. Claimants might not necessarily think he's a sweet, kind, and caring person, but they can be assured that he really considers the evidence and is trying to come to the right decision.

Judge: John D Sullivan

Takes control of his Court and moves proceedings along swiftly, yet will allow an Appellant time to present ALL his/her evidence fully. Often questions the Government's Labor Classification Expert and sworn Appellant from the Bench.

Judge: Barbara Artuso

She really goes out of her way to make the Claimant feel comfortable and as "in control" of the process as possible. She's very professional towards the Claimant, representative, and VE, and has an engaging delivery. She is genuinely interested in what the Claimant has to say.

I rate him a 10 :) Mr./Judge Quigley is a very kind, well spoken and highly educated man. I know I had to have shown my complete nervousness but, after speaking and listening to him talk with kindness ,I felt relief. He was truly a great Judge even though I was denied and my case is almost at the three year point (from the first date I applied) which has deeply effected my overall health... I totally understand and more importantly respect his professional opinion and decision, I can only hope to have him review my very complex SSD case records. He is a patient man and I pray that Mr.Judge Quigly and the good Lord will render the right decision any day now, for this has been a very trying, exhausting, long and difficult journey for myself as well as my family. God Bless and best wishes..

Judge: William H. Hauser

He has great respect for the process and the law. Engages representatives in a thoughtful back and forth that helps clarify the issues in any given case. Rewards good arguments and solid preparation. He truly possesses all the traits of a superior judge: compassionate, even-handed and measured in his approach, and well versed in his review of every case. Every judge should apply the regulations as expertly and fairly as he does.
