I can’t say I got a fair shake from his honor, Mr. Tompkin..err I’m sorry, I meant Ms. Tompkin, it’s really hard to tell since her voice is so deep and manly over the phone.
So yeah, I got “accidentally” misgendered multiple times by this judge, and was given far below the typical amount of time to talk. I was humiliated in front of 2 other people, who then proceeded to follow suit and accidentally misgender me. And all while I was expected to talk about traumatic moments from my medical history. So two years of paperwork, stress, waiting, taking up my providers’ time to help advocate for my case, dealing with neglectful lawyers, and all I had to show for it was one of the most humiliating moments of my life.
I truly believe the Judge who handle my case, The Honorable Judge Cheryl Tomkin made the best decision in the fully favorable decision surrounding my case, which is quite complicated in definition to describe, but it is her master ability to gather a body of information and breaking it down into a understandable diagnostic in which the reviewing hearing group were able to convey to her in her final decision in the court hearing.
Wish this judge had more reviews like the others. I guess her denial rates speaks for itself. I’m screwed
Good luck if you get this judge. She thinks she’s also a medical doctor. My Experienced lawyer said she shouldn’t be a judge.
