In reference to my post on November 20, 2012:

After receiving this judge’s unfavorable decision, I personally filed a new claim for disability on behalf of my husband. No attorney involved. My husband was granted disability within 4 WEEKS!!!! 4 WEEKS! Tell me he wasn’t disabled when he went before Judge Marceille. (right). In the end, we won, however, due to this judge’s decision, my husband was not qualified to receive the 3 years back pay that he was due. Thank you SO much Judge.

Judge Marceille is professional and thorough. He gives great consideration to every claim and makes fair decisions based on the evidence he’s given.

I can’t believe the US Government allows Judges, like him to make accusations and judgment on individuals that are truly disabled and their medical records speak for themselfs. This Judge has put a hold on our lives and hopefully something can be done about this. We want to wish him a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, something we are not having this year!

I have never had a hearing with this ALJ present in the room. Always by video from Chicago. Very rude and accusatory tone with claimants. Poor judicial temperament. If I had to guess, I’d say he worked in insurance defense before he became an ALJ, and still thinks his role is the same as a PI defense attorney rather than adjudicator. I have had 4 hearings in front of this guy and only one favorable.

Pray this is not your judge. He will not consider you disabled as long as you’re still breathing. My husbands unfavorable decision is 15 pages, full of twisted comments, insinuations, insults and snide comments. Unbelievable. Tough? Yeah! Knowledgeable, obviously, Fair? No way!

This judge is tough, knowledgeable, and fair. He’s now at the Chicago National Hearing Center.
