Judge Phillips was amazing today. Very kind, empathetic, understanding, and thorough. Coming from someone with severe anxiety, his calm demeanor and sense of humor was very calming. I don’t know my results yet, and likely won’t for a few weeks, but I felt like he was being fair and really listened. Today wasn’t near as stressful as I imagined it would be. Thank you, Judge! Much respect!
I AGREE WITH THE BELOW NEGATIVE REVIEWS, THIS IS A JUDGE WITH NO HEART AND NO JUDGEMENT. THIS LIAR SAYS I SHOULD GO BACK TO WORK DESPITE MULTIPLE HANDICAPS BESIDES I LOST EVERY JOB FROM OUTBURSTS. I HAVE MANY TIMES THOUGHT ABOUT SUICIDE AND HAVE DISCLOSED THIS WITH MY DOCTOR WHO WROTE ME A LETTER ADVOCATING MY DISABILITY. THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING THINKS HOWEVER ALL MY EVIDENCE AND EVERYTHING I SAY IS NOTHING DUE TO HIS 20 MINUTES IN A COURTROOM WITH ME.
SAYS I CAN WORK WHEN I HAVE BEEN FIRED FROM EVERY JOB FOR OUTBURSTS. I HAD EVIDENCE AND TONS OF MEDICAL FILES AND A LETTER FROM A GODDAMNED DOCTOR SAYING I SHOULD NOT BE WORKING. THIS F FACE DECIDES HOWEVER DESPITE THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE THAT I CAN WORK. TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO JUDGE???? TELL ME WHAT DOES NOT INVOLVE ME BEING AROUND ANYONE ELSE AND THUS BEING A DANGER TO ALL. I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR TIME IN HELL DEREK, YOU DESERVE IT.
LYING SACKS OF HUMAN WASTE REVIEWED THIS JUDGE. THE WORST MOST ARROGANT ENTITLED BLOODBAG LIVING PILE OF SHIT THERE IS. HE IS AN IMBECILE AS APPARENT FROM HIS JUDGEMENET, LEAVING OUT DETAILS i told hIM in COURT. also BARELY LET ME SPEAK, DISREGARDED LOTS OF EVIDENCE AND IN SHORT IS A PIECE OF SHIT. I HOPE HE OR FAMILY FEELS THE PAIN I AND MY FAMILY DOES BY BEING REJECTED BY THIS MONSTER.
The honorable Mr Derek N. Phillips is a good judge. He listens, he’s fair and thorough. If all your medical records are in order and your honest with your claim and real-life everyday limitations you could not ask for a better judge.
LIES. FALASE REVIEWS. THIS **** SHOULDNT BE BREATHING. TOO BAD HE ISN’T DISABLED. MAYBE. PUT SOME EMPATHY IN THIS **** ** ****. DFGDFGDFGDGDFGDGFGDGDFGDFGDFGDGDFGD
Judge Phillips was very fair. Paid attention to all my testimony, then he corroborated everything with my medical records. He was very nice, calm, and patient. He did not rush me and he seemed very caring. If you don’t lie and your records show it, I believe he is very fair. God Bless this judge! I pray for his health!
He seemed very kind and empathetic. He immediately tried to calm me and let me know that he understands I don’t feel well, but to try my best and speak up. I am already a very anxious person, so I very much appreciated his calming and understanding nature. He was also very patient with my memory issues and issues with losing my train of thought, which sometimes causes me embarrassment, because it frustrates some people. Instead of making me feel embarassed, he would give me time to collect my thoughts or ask me questions. I never felt judged, only understood. I wish there were more people like him in the world.
He seem to be a very caring person. He did not belittle or make you feel uncomfortable. He listens very close to the person with out showing bias towards the person. i do not no the judgement from him but it was way better than i had before.
Really like this ALJ. He is extremely calm and soft-spoken. Very clear about how he wants the hearing to be conducted. Basically he does background and leaves work and RFC to the rep. Very measured in his approach but thoughtfully so.
I had a client who was difficult to elicit testimony from and he was very patient with my methods and the results.
Not sure what the outcome is, but he appeared to be fair and he was very polite and decent to my client, which is always appreciated. Hope he stays this way.
