I had a hearing Jan 2014 and another July 2014. Still no decision. I called and someone said my case was “in writing.” How are people supposed to survive let alone get decent medical care when they cannot work and cannot get help? Judge Krapper seemed professional and fair but if it wasn’t for family, my daughter and I would be homeless. Now I am just hopeless. Do the judges even see this website? I wonder if Judge Krapper has been ill or something? I wonder if a decision is delayed just to build up more retroactive money so my lawyer gets paid more. I’d rate Judge Krapper 5 stars if I had gotten a timely decision.
still “pending”…my hearing was on 5/14/2014
I had my hearing on 5/14/2014, still waiting~~~ I called to check the status, “pending”, but, two weeks ago they said it was in editing and I should receive something in the mail within a week. But, we’re back to “pending” status.
Has anyone gotten a decision yet?
The Judge was very nice and her voice gave off a vibe of really caring. She asked a lot of questions and was very professional about having to explain something to me if I didn’t understand. I was initially very nervous but with her I was at ease. I went to hearing in June 2014 still waiting on her decision. Anybody else has gotten a decision?
I had my hearing with Judge Krappa already and I must say she was wonderful. Easy to talk to, gave ample time, no rushing, she was very understanding to my situation as a person. She made my experience in the hearing a lot more less stressful than I had been anticipating. She even understood when I had to stand for a few minutes. Still waiting and praying. Judge Krappa is an asset to the ODAR. She treated me with compassion and most of all respect. In a process such as this we need really need that.
This woman seemed to be a very honorable person and judge. She listens to what you say intently and seems compassionate to sensitive material I don’t know what her decision will be but I am praying for the best. She is highly professional and seems to be the only one who has genuinely listened to my condition and disorders
I haven’t received her decision yet but in the hearing she seemed to be very fair and wanted to ascertain all the facts rather than simply looking for an excuse to deny me as the previous judge had been.
I WAS AT COURT TODAY FOR A REMAND ON MY CASE OF AN INITIAL DENIAL. THIS JUDGE IS VERY NICE AND A PLEASURE TO SPEAK TO ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS. I WAS DENIED BY HER THE FIRST TIME AND IM PRAYING THAT THIS SECOND HEARING WILL BLESS ME WITH THE HELP I NEED I HAVE SUFFERED A SEVERE BACK INJURY LONG ENOUGH AND I HOPE THE JUDGE WILL SEE THAT I NEED THIS MORE THAN WORDS CAN SPEAK. THANK YOU JUDGE KRAPPA FOR HEARING ME OUT IN COURT TODAY IT MEANS ALOT TO HAVE A JUDGE LISTEN TO YOU ABOUT WHATS REALLY GOING ON IN A PERSONS BODY.
SINCERELY BRIAN.
This judge doesn’t even need to really read a case file, all she has to do is to read another judge’s opinion who denied a claim, copy their report as their own, and even usurp the opinion of the US District court when they remand the case back down to the original court. I wonder what the job description is anyway…
