Condescending; has no concern for rules of procedures or due process. Sends claimants out of the room during expert testimony. He is also cold hearted yet tries to appear otherwise by projecting an avuncular veneer. Apparently, the person commenting above got fooled by this facade.
Whether it is sincere or not, Judge Arthur treats claimants at hearing with compassion, and representatives professionally, which should be standard throughout the country, yet unfortunately is not. Undoubtedly, this judge has seen his share of weak, and probably frivolous claims, but he does not generalize and mistreat people at hearing. Win or lose in front of Judge Arthur, you will be treated with decency and respect.
