Judge Wheatley is very nice in person but his first decision was harsh but at that time I had no insurance and therefore no personal doctors’ opinions. At the second hearing with him he was again very personable but stern. He had 3 experts to testify at my hearing but once he heard the first two, together with the Soc Sec dept.’s doctors’ examination reports (I did 2), all four of their doctors said I was disabled. He approved my case from the bench. He did not talk to me at all except to swear me in. So I believe once he had the actual opinions from my doctors (which I was able to get with medi-cal) and their 4, he did the right thing.
