Was very professional and made me feel comfortable during my disability hearing
This judge was very thorough. I felt heard during my testimony (at the phone hearing due to COVID-19). She listed all of the supporting information used in her decision and granted me disability for an illness that is extremely rare and not very well-known. I appreciate her thoroughness and the positive finding.
This judge was respectful, but based her decision on the Social Security doctor’s 10 minute exam, instead of my primary care doctor’s evaluation of me. I knew going in she had a very low approval rating compared to others in the KC office. She seemed to have her mind already made up at the beginning. Just bad luck on my part to have her assigned to my case instead of one of the others. Good luck to others if she ends up being your ALJ.
Very professional and respectful.
