He is a joke . I A 34 year old lady and has had seizure’s since the age. 5 and now. Has a pacemaker do to my seizures and this joke of a judge denied my claim after waiting five year and. Losing everything I had due to my seizures but he didn’t care cause it wasn’t his throat that had to get cut on to have the surgery I had for my seizures
This judge by far is a joke!!! My husband waited 2 years to go in front of this thing. He knocked off every job that the worker recommend and still denied him disability anyway … Hey you , my husband worked every credit out not YOU !!! My husband is DISABLED!!! I hope and pray that you and yours have the kind of life and holidays as shity as ours !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for destroying lives
I have to say when I read previous comments about Judge Meade it increased my anxiety before my hearing. I am a nurse of 30 years and was forced out of my profession due to my health issues. I had always been taught to make your own way in life and that no one owed you anything. This made it very hard for me to give in to my health issues and apply for disability. However, it got to the point where I no longer had a choice. Judge Meade made my experience with this humiliating process as easy as he could. He treated me with dignity and respect. I will forever be grateful to him and pray that God gives him the insight he needs to make these life altering decisions for others in the future.
I recently went before Judge Meade, Well actually it was video conference, And I recieved an unfavorable decision. The reason why is because he said I exaggerated about my disability which is Aspergers Syndrome a form of Autism. I didn’t lie about anything I was under oath, Even if I hadn’t of been under oath I wouldn’t of lied. He also said that my therapist who helped me wasn’t credible and that’s not true. He also said I was obese and needed to lose weight, And i’m not. I’ve been to several law judges and I’ve never had any of them say such mean hurtful things to me and about me. I feel sorry for anyone who has to go in front of him.
This “Judge” was an inexperienced attorney in private practice and has no prior experience as a judge. Furthermore, he is very arrogant and only cares about getting the cases out the door!
In my case DLJ Jerry Meade erred no less than 23 times. He also commited two cases of reversable error in my case. When my legal counsel filed a notice of appeal and a lengthy legal brief, I began to notice that there were spy cars watching me. They would follow me to appointments with treating professionals. On one occasion they were going through my garbage and became agitated when confronted. They flashed an unusual badge. The US Marshall’s office confirmed that they were FBI. I suppose that when the collage of mistakes made by ALJ Jerry Meade hit his superiors in Falls Church, VA he became upset. I have asked for the appeal to be dismissed. I hope that this will end the lengthy harrasment from the henchmen of ALJ JErry Meade.
they all just think everone who applies for ssi/ssd is trying to get something for nothing. in some cases yea that may be true but theres alot of people who really cant work and deserve help. whats funny is seems like the people who really dont deserve always gets approved with no problem
in my opendion this man is to young to be making decision that effect one person life that has live at least 15 years longer than he. he looks to be the type of judge that has a mind set before the hearing. in my case his major reason for turning me down was i had never worked and paid in taxes, which i have not paid in taxes because i worked in a family business from the age of 18 till 45 and then we went out of business. i did work but it was not consider work because i didn’t pay in self employed taxes, because i never believe our business would close, i am now 51 and have to depend on other family members for support. he also stated that i could sometimes crawl, snoop and other things that were uncalled for. i hope he never has to live with the illnesses i live with and suffer like i. i’m glad he can live with making desisions that totally affect other peoples lives and that he prays every night for guidness and forgivness for hurting more than he helps. god bless him. one more thing i always though, ssi as for people that had not paid in enough taxes to get social security.
This man may be a good man.. I can’t say nothing bad about him cause he gave me and unfavorable decision.. but I do want to ask a question… how can one man look at so called paperwork and see a client for a few minutes and then make a decision that will affect the rest of their lives… I will pray for these people cause I see that they do have a hard job in front of them but it just awes me to see how the system is so messed up when some you know get approved and some have been fighting for years. so I guess I will wait and see what goes.. as for me GOD will provide and I pray he has his hand upon these men that makes decisions.. cause one day they will have to stand before someone mightier than then…
He is a hatchet man who denies as many cases as possible on minor technicalities.
