I’m a 100% P&T Disabled Veteran with Major Depression and Major Anxiety (among other physical disabilities) since 2006. After waiting years to apply for SSD and then a couple more for a hearing this “judge” sent me for an evaluation after the first hearing. This “judge” apparently didn’t agree with what a Licensed Psychologist or Vocational Rehabilitation person had to say and not only completely left it out of her final decision but as well, left out the VA Decision. She relied heavily on opinions of psychologists who never met me. This “judge’s” opinion was that my alcoholism was causing the depression therefore preventing me from working. The psychologist, among several others, say otherwise. I had representation, who obviously didn’t do a thorough enough job. My claim went to Falls Church VA, where it was denied. Here is my opinion of this judge, since she apparently uses her own opinion to decide claims. This “judge” is a lesbian whose dad drank heavily, beat her mother and abused her in some fashion. She has a deep hatred for men, especially alcoholics. She needs to keep her personal bias out of decisions and do her **** job. I’ve had to file a whole new claim. I am still unable to work and haven’t since June of 2013. I hate this woman and I will REFUSE to see her if I have to do another ******* hearing.

Thorough understanding of the case, applies the law to the facts correctly and gives claimants a full and fair hearing. ODAR needs more ALJs like Judge Benedict.
