Maria, CONGRADS! You’re story really had inspired me to keep on fighting, i also had been denied twice by the same unfair denial orientated judge, the terrible reality is that it all depends more on the judges personality and stats in deciding whether you get approved or denied! Not as much as the facts and evidence! You can have little evidence in front of a fair understanding judge and still get approved and you can have a lot and strong evidences in front of a unfair, bias and denial orientated judge and still get denied which it has happened to me, her last decision was so out of line and unfair that its even grounds for the appeals council to overturn her decision and approve me. If judge A has an approval rate of 50% and denial rate of 32%, you have great chances of getting approved even with little evidence, but it you end up with judge B that has a 25% (even a 40% approval rate) and yet has 45% and up denials you have more chances of getting denied, dont even matter if you have a very strong case!
Definitely mean and the worst. Absolutely bias. Inconsiderate.
I went through my 1st and 2nd Hearing with him and he denied them. . I asked for a different Judge. I was very fortunate to be granted a different judge. This was my 3rd time and 9 years have been gone in all these process. In the mean time my health has been deteriorating.
I was lucky to get the approval from my new judge. With out even saying a word and getting and apology from this new judge, saying he apologized for not getting my SSD sooner. I was so happy and released.
I hope you don’t get him.
He may seem like a nice guy and he is, yet he is the most unfair bias and corrupt judge of all the judges, he has been remanded NUMEROUS times by the Federal court and last years stats of this judge (2021) has gotten even WORSE; 27% approvals to a whopping 67% denials! Unless you are 95 years old, terminately sick, in a wheel chair or in crutches ; DONT EXPECT ANY APPROVALS FROM THIS JUDGE! Again, he is very tricky, hes may be a nice guy, yet hes very unfair, bias and corrupt! VERY MEAN in his decision-making, those who end up with him are going to have a big uphill battle!
Just when i thought that all is lost since this judge’s stupid decision, a year has passed guess what…this judge’s stupid decision has been vacated and REMANDED BY THE APPEALS COUNCIL! Now i have 2 cases remanded back to the hearing office and they will be all sent to a more fair judge at the Newark office (were i should go!) He may be nice but hes SUPER MEAN and lazy in decision-making! This judge has been remanded more than any other judge i know! Those who end up with this judge, I’ll be praying for you all, and prepare to APPEAL further!
Look at how many times this judge has been remanded by the Federal Court! Type his name on the search engine “ALJ Mark Solomon” and you see all the results! That clearly shows that he is HORRIBLE in making decisions, he is very bias and a completely LAZY in fully developing the records of claimants! All he does is look, ignore and deny! He should be disbarred!
Sorry for the 5 star…he is ONE STAR all the way!
My lawyer said that the unfavorable decision of this judge was complete utter non-sense and he ignored all my doctors opinions and tests on my mental condition! Again his high percentage of denials clearly shows that he is NOT at all a fair judge! So unless you are completely crazy and or in a wheel-chair completely crippled, dont expect any approvals from this judge nor from any other judge that has a low approval percentage with a high denial percentage! CLAIMANTS BEWARE!
Despite all the solid evidence, this judge still denied me! This judge’s low ratings of approvals and high ratings of denials speaks for itself! Hes not a fair judge at all! Anyone that ends up with this judge its best to reschedule and look for another judge!
