I have found Judge Miller to be fair and kind to claimants. He takes time to ask questions, often takes notes about your case, and provides numerous examples/questions in an attempt to understand the claimant’s condition. I am always thankful to have a case before him.
He is very a very unfair Judge. He twisted my words around to use against me.Took 2 months to decide unfavorable!
I had an excellent hearing with this judge he seemed very sincere and caring very compassionate my hearing went well my lawyer was on top of things judge miller let me tell him all my limitations and he broke the things down for me to understand in my opinion this judge deserves 5 stars while im still waiting on my decision i continue to think positive and keep my faith upon my favorable decision no need to get upset. God is the BEST PROVIDER.
I had a hearing April 8th 2013 with judge miller he seemed pretty fair i went to the social security office and the ODAR office they say my case still pending its now may 3rd 2013 i guess ill have to just wait on the written decision in the mail its a serious waiting game that cause patients may God bless my case i believe in miracles God bless you all who are going up for your hearing.
I had a hearing Nov. 20th for my child. And received a fully favorable decision in January. Judge Miller listened to details of my child that no other person seem to car for. I had an awesome Attorney. I have been trying to get help since 2010 and Social Security kept denying her. Thanks Judge Miller.
I had my court date with judge Miller Oct 13 I have not got an answer yet been going back and forth seSen 07. He was nice and seemed caring. He is on top of his game with research. Hopefully all goes well. Good luck all ….as I await an aswer
Part of my disiability is lack of memory. He held that against me. We did a questionaire over two years ago that he held against me. He didn’t understand the fact that their are times that things get worse. I could of told them all the truth about me being a abused child, and all the blows to the head. The fact that I have seizures caused by abuse. He didn’t like the face that I’m not getting medical attention. I have no insurance. What about that is so hard to understand? Or that I didn’t tell the free clinic every thing. I went there a couple times. I have pain in my back and I needed help. oh that got held against me. I guess he thought I did that cause of the hearing. mr. miller i did not lie to you! I told you things that day about myself that I tell no one. I thought you understood me. I was fooled. Chances are now I could be standing at deaths door and i will not seek treatment. i know that every thing I say is held against me.
At my hearing he seamed very nice.I don’t think he has a clue what it is like to be in front of a judge. How every time in life you admit to any thing, some thing gets taken from you. This was very rough. I do not think he was fair at all. need less to say I lost my hearing.
Judge Miller DID HAVE A HUGE backlog but I was being treated the same way, until i found out that he had a heart bypass surgery in Nov. and then had complications after that so they did move alot of cases to other areas that were not as backed up as his. I have been waiting for 5and a half years for a decision and finally got approved but my family was hurting and still is until i get my payments, so I do share your frustration!
On the morning of October 20th, 2011, I was allowed to present my case before Judge Miller, regarding my application for Social Security Disability Benefits.
As of this date, March 15th, 2012, I have NOT received a reply from Judge Miller. I have contacted my attorney on several occasions, as well as contacting my Congressman, Gus Bilirakis. I received a letter dated February 23rd, 2012,from Mr. Bilirakis stating he did receive my notice of concerns and would be in touch with me as soon as possible. Then, I received a letter from my attorney, dated February 24th, 2012, stating he finally got a call back from Judge Miller’s office stating due to a large backlog of cases my file was sent to another office to have the Decision typed and finalized, and, hopefully it would not be much longer until the Decision is mailed to me.
