Trick questions, convenient hearing, ignorance and arrogance are his modes of operation. His denial for me ran to 17 pages and he stated that I am able to do11 things that I can no longer do. The vocational witness said there are no jobs I can do but that doesn’t stop this prat “ judge” from having a judgment made before you get in the room. If he tells you good luck you will need it because he has decided to deny your case.

Υou really make it seem so easу along with your presentation however I find thіs topic to be really one thing which Ι think I'd by no means understand. I'm hoping my comments will get to Hartford somehow. My daughter, Katherine Cera Millhouse, has been on SSI since the age of five due to a rare birth defect called bladder exstrophy, which is life-long, life-debilitating, and life-threatening. He's holding onto her case... determined to deny her now that she's an adult. He's making a big mistake.

I was denied my benefits and kicked of my soc security benefits . I'm 37 years old and my dad has Ben living with me for 9 years and helping me out with my daily stuff and judge loyd hartford took my benefit s away and said I basically could work. If that was the case a 37 year old man probably wouldn't live with his father for help with his daily activitys . I think I was basically screwed to save the government money . Back in agust of 2013 my work comp went up and they said u got a raise and I said right there I was denied my soc secerity before we even got to my hearing . Cause work comp was paying the offset and soc secerity basically had there mind made up. . . I'm going two right my government and my Congress men and daily documents movie channels like dateline so they can here my complaints . My gramps died at the age of 50 and didnot even get to draw his out and if he new the crap I went through to keep mine going just to get denied before there was even a hearing they would of never paid in !!! It might of just Been a coincidence but I dont think it was a fair hearing or trial . Whatever u call it. Think the system that was put in place two help people is now Been corrupted to make people fail. Now we had to take back my kids Christmas gifts to make our house payment . Hopefully someone sees this that can help.

As Americas we were brought up expecting we could pick what kind of trial wheather it be a jury trial or the judges design. With soc secerity the judge is the judge , jury and proscuter witch is not fair there personal apinons and thoughts come into the desions . And we the peaple are paying them to make falty desiones and there pay never gets taken away or a cut in pay to save the government money . They probley vote in there own raises. One man can put someone on the street or under the bridge is that the way we want our country ran . Think peaple should post this stuff on there face book and ather stuff so they can see what our government is doing to good family's . Hope the judge that denied me see this cause I'm going over his head going to write my cogres men and president and any ather important peaple that can hear my story.

Judge Hartford seems to feel his personal opinions and politics should be the deciding factor in his cases. I am appalled at how he treats people in his court. He would ask me a question and cut me off in the middle of my answer. He was very rude. I do not care whether he feels the person deserves the benefits or not..He should be required to treat all people coming before him like human beings. He should not be able to treat anyone the he does.

Also after I had read my decision I found Judge Hartford decided to answer his own questions he did not have time to ask me during the interview, sadly, he came up with the wrong answers leaving great discrepancies in the total interview!

I have testified as a Medical Expert for ALJ Hartford on more than one occasion. He has been insulting, undermining, asked for information that a secretary could glean from the record. He has not been interested in receiving my full testimony, or my Expert opinion based on my knowledge of the field I am considered an Expert in. He may be sexist as well. He did not allow me to testifyl my full opinion from the claimant's record, which would bias his decision towards a Denial of a claim (as the full opinion of the Expert has not been heard). If you are assigned to this judge in any capacity, proceed at your risk of being attacked!

Judge Hartford is an imbecile. He is condescending, and lacks basic decency and professionalism. He also acts like he is a doctor and knows more than any medical professional. It's amazing he's still employed, but it is the federal government, so I shouldn't be surprised he's so incompetent. My spouse, who had worked for 34 years was diagnosed with a chronic illness several years ago, causing them to basically be bedridden and not work anymore. When my spouse met with Hartford, he asked why hadn't my spouse taken the shots to clear the health problem. The attorney told him that no such medicine or shot exists to fix this health issue. Hartford disputed that and said there was and again wanted to know why the shots weren't taken. He argued for several minutes over this. I was totally surprised that a judge knew more about any treatment than our Dr., because the shots Hartford felt should be given to restore perfect health DOESN'T EXIST. We went back to the doctor and asked about why the doctor hadn't prescribed the treatment and his exact words were, "What school did this idiot judge get his medical degree? The meds don't exist. If it did, I would have given it to you years ago." We already knew that, but just needed confirmation. It's amazing that people with so little decency and personality can be employed in a position of such importance. If there were negative starts, I would rate him a negative.

Judge Hartford is a compassionless, condescending & cruel judge. During my appeal, he repeatedly interrupted me, talked over me & flat out accused me I was lying & exaggerating my symptoms. He asked few, specific questions of the medical and employment specialists in a way that did not permitted them to express their assessments of my work ability, which were in my favor. He deemed all four letters I had from specialists outlining my many health issues as disabling 'uncredible' because in my file when I visit the doctor I try to be positive and ONCE I said 'I feel fine today.' I survived a rare form of aggressive childhood cancer only to battle with the aftermath of said treatment for the past 25 years. I lost 12ft of my small bowel, got congestive heart failure, have a dead kidney, chronic pain & migraines, endometriosis, fibroids & my belly is full of adhesions. I suffer from depression, anxiety attacks, PTSD. I am malnurished due to short bowel syndrome & radiation enteritis. I literally never know how I'm going to feel from day to night, hour to hour. This so-called man didn't hear a word I said; he had already decided I wasn't 'worthy' of benefits before my hearing even began. He said I should just work a little more (I work part time, but never exceeded the earnings limit). I needed to try harder...!!!???!!! Every single day is a struggle & if I wasn't trying as hard as I can to stay alive, I'd have been dead years ago. But I have a positive outlook on life (which saved my life) has become a huge detriment to my ability to keep the ssdi benefits I need to survive. I've never encountered such heartlessness.

This Judge is a bully who knows weather he will deny your case or approve it before you even sit down. He cherry picked from my medical records giving weight to anything that could be used to deny me benefits, while overlooking any supporting evidence. This judge spoke around me to the Psychiatrist or Vocational Expert. He was not only not concerned that I understand and follow the hearing, he made certain to keep in confusing. This ALJ failed to ask many ralevant questions and mad incorrect assumptions. I think he is racist and sexist but I cant prove that.

I felt some sort of disdain and contempt coming from Judge Inama at my hearing. I think he wanted to deny me and then set about finding a way to do so. I paid into the system for 20+ years and now I am making a legitimate claim, and he denies me. The system failed, and this judge failed. Disgusted.

I felt that Judge Inama was annoyed at the prospect of even having to hear my case. He looks for any reason to deny benefits and I felt his disgust towards me the whole time I was in front of him. He has no business being in this position of holding people's livelihood in his hands!

I have a strange feeling she starts writing her denial before the hearing. It's funny, if she approved 83% of her cases, there would be red flags going off everywhere, she's so far the national average it's amazing. I can't overemphasize the need to stand up like the Queens, New York victims.

She seems to go through the file looking for anything negative that she can use to deny the case. Good judges give Claimants a fair opportunity. She seems to be completely consumed by getting the hearing over with and finding a way to deny the case. I also think she largely writes her decisions ahead of time. One has to wonder why even have hearings with that type of approach.

Did anyone else have this experience with this judge, she relies strictly on people who never examine you, and discounts doctors who have seen you for years, even social security doctors who perform CE exams. This is abuse of power.

This judge is getting worse, next to Alaska, you have no chance to win in Montana. Who's watching these judges, no wonder West Virginia told Kelley to please leave.

If you ever get judge Kelley, you may as well start your appeals council report, this judge is by far the worst in the United States. The sad thing about it, nobody seems to care. My advice to anyone, before you apply for social security disability, move to another state, you will not win in Montana. She has to be writing her decisions before the hearing. What happened in Queens, New York has to be coming to Montana, what's going on here is too obvious. Judge Kelley is a hired gun from West Virginia, her approval rating there was a whopping 7%, and she keeps her job, only in America.

Kelley is the worst woman ive ever had the displeasure of meeting. I was scheduled a hearing October 27th, she postponed 2 days before my hearing, 8 months later I finally got my case heard, wich by then I waited 2 years 8 months. she gave us ( by us I mean my lawyer and I ) 50 minutes to present our case, of those 50 minutes she took up most of it herself. by the time we tried to present my case she wouldn't listen to my lawyer she kept cutting him off!! he finally got up to leave and she yelled at him and told him to sit down. even the v.o.c rep wouldn't look up not even once. it was the most horrible excperence ive ever been in. my lawyer said out of the thousands of cases hes done mine was best to receive disability. he said I should consider moving out of state because I had no chance with her. my advice to anyone that gets her as a judge don't even waste your time you will lose. someone should have her investigated and removed from the bench. what a poor exscuse for a judge and a woman.....

If you get your notice for a hearing, and this judge is listed, don't go, protest, check whatever laws are on the books, you could have terminal cancer, and she would think you could still work the remaining 6 months of your life. At 18%, that basically means no one wins, surprisingly, when this judge was in West Virginia she approved 7%.

Well folks, you're not alone. I've been filing since 2012. Denied by ALJ Kilroy. Took it to 9th Circuit Court. Had court with AlJ Kelley while waiting on 9th Circuit decision. 9th Circuit judge said ALJ Kilroy made many errors. Case was reversed and remanded. She denied my case seeing I can have a retrial based on his errors. Here goes six years now. The system is very corrupt.

Here goes another appeal. AlJ Kelley adopted and copied AlJ Kilroy's conclusion word for word and denied case. I guess she didn't take time to review the 9th Circuit Supreme Court decision stating that AlJ Kilroy errored in most of his conclusion. This is so wrong! What a waist of time for everyone. I guess they call this monopoly game job security. People's lives really don't matter.

AlJ Kelley was quick to point out that I had cannabis in my system for the record. However, she failed to report that it was approved By the VA Doctor and Medical Marijuana card is on file. Dr. even states that he recommends eating cannabis verse smoking it. Funny how they leave certain things out to make people think you're abusing the system. In all reality the ALJ's are the ones abusing their power by not being honest about reviewing your claim in full.

About the only suggestion I have for any one in Montana applying for disability, move and hope 60 minutes does a story on this area. Kelley was run out of West Virginia, 7% approval now up to 20%, don't go to your hearing with her or Kiljoy, you have no chance. I bet they get a bonus for most denials.

Absolute joke! Kelly completely disregarded EVERYTHING my doctors, social security doctor and medical records say. Her mind was already made up before I entered the room. Very bitter woman that thinks she can ‘save’ social security by rejecting such a high %. How does this cold hearted ***** sleep at night? I was a witness for a friend of mine 6 years ago in Spokane. Kelly was as nice as pie. She made small talk, friendly and approved my friends disability on minimal grounds. Here I am...6 years later filing for my own disability and Kelly acts like money comes directly out of her pocket! Insulted me, belittled me, degraded me causing me MORE emotional harm. My service dog didn’t even like her!!! At all costs...request a different ALJ judge! The ***** himself giving me an enema with a hot poker would have gone better.

Judge Kilroy is a liar. He had approved my husbands disability at the hearing but was arguing the onset date. So our attorney asked for an extension to submit more evidence. The new evidence was submitted and we got a letter in the mail stating that my husband is capable of working. All the jobs that were suggested had been backed up by medical evidence as to why he couldn't perform said job. Point is, he lied. He said that he would approve his disability but then didn't.

another lie from Kilroy, when deciding against me he left out in his "finding of fact" the fact that i had a herniated disc causing a deformation of the ventral aspect of my spinal cord and claimed that i didn't suffer any pain. he also didn't give any validity to my treating physicians statements, calling him a liar more or less and relied on some other physicians testimony that has never even met me. Kilroy is the only liar here, that is the only fact.

People, when are you going to learn, this is why no one wants to move to Montana, look at the judges approval ratings, lowest in the country. Until someone is willing to do what was done in Queens, New York, judges like this Kilroy will run amok. I would venture to say they have a private pool amongst themselves, who can deny the most claims especially against minorities. Hopefully 60 Minutes will do a show on our situation in Montana. I would imagine this state has the most cases remanded.

My disability file presented to Judge Killroy is a foot tall mess. There is a huge chance I will loose my case but I do not find patient , mature , and tries to work with you. He is not God he has to follow the rules but after going thru the ssid being treated poorly he at least gives me dignity and is patient. It's not personal to this man. He is following the rules. I'm already getting ready to file again because denial rates are high. I respect this man and staff.

Mr. Kilroy falls under borderline "paranoia" and has a very vague mind. He review's your notes and already has his mind made up before your hearing. 1st claim denied: He states that a nurse practitioner or chiropractor notes are not credible in federal court. 2nd claim denied: MD notes conflict with nurse and chiro whome he claims are not credible. Is this some kind of sick joke!???

Judge Kilroy is a criminal. He reviewed my sons case and found him disabled for the first two years of his disability when the other reviewers said he was not disabled. Later, he used a doctors statement that said he was doing better than before while ignoring totslly the same doctors statement that was written later saying he was totally disabled and could never work again. How do people like this live with themselves? I couldnt.

This ALJ used to be in the NHC in Chicago. Her award rate has been fairly consistent. She is pleasant, sometimes ready to start hearings early. She asks for opening and then she questions claimant. A good, strong work history is always a plus. She will do bench decisions too. In my experience this ALJ is very fair. All judges have to formuate opinions on crediblity and severity of symptoms.

When the court started judge Lariccia read off to me my condition. She had not read all my medical and when told this at the hearing she still could not accessit without my lawyers help. She went into the hearing with precocieved notions and never changed them. When the vocational counselor from the state went over jobs he stated i couldnot perform light duty with my conditions I stated to the Judge. In her decision Judge Lariccia said she agrees with the doctor that I have severe pain but I can still perform a light duty job. Then she spelled out what i could perform as it relates to lifting. Noware in any reports or FCE did it say I could do that. Also she said the vocational couselor said I could perform light duty with my spoken evidence. He never said that. I faxed in a release for the hearing proceedings and never recieved them. In my opinion Judge Lariccia was not prepared for the case, and looking at her basis for decision she never read all the medical.

Very unhappy this judge mixing up all the facts in the case and also not looking into the misdiagnosis on my case file. I had severe pain in my back upper and lower and possible nerve damage, I was bed ridden for months even and currently in physical therapy. The judge had the vocational counselor come out and tell me I could do work in a factory which indeed could harm my health condition, I could not believe this when I heard it. Not only did the judge make many assumptions she thought I was just perfectly fine, she took everything out of context and reversed it backwards on me. I even sent her more evidence as to her mistakes in her judgements, she never looked at my case and dismissed everything.. my new evidence and xrays , Dr's letters etc. The fact my case was from the get go misdiagnosed and my previous condition of 15 years erased and now I am classified as having some mental condition I was appalled and disgusted with this I will surely appeal with a lawyer. No wonder she has a 43% approval rating, thanks for the facts.

To Judge Stephen Marchioro: He was very respectful at the hearing and the hearing went good with the career counselor. When reading my denial of papers sent to me 2 months later, there seemed to be confusion about my certain medical conditions. The Judge did use certain terms that were incorrect while making his decisions. A little bias to his outlook that did not make sense when the hearing was different then the letter and facts sent to me. The Judge was nice in the court room but did get some of the information mixed up which hurt me and with his decision of this case. These facts were not correct and some of my new medical information is submitted. There should be a better outlook about me as the Judge made decisions based upon some wrong outlook as compared to the actual situations. Very disappointed in his viewpoint as a hard worker in the working world for over 15 years providing healthcare and caring about people. This needs to be addressed as the information was not correct to make a decision about, nor was the newer medical information finished.

This guy is a class-A douchebag, pure and simple. Ignores evidence and biased. Acts respectful in person, but his opinions on paper regarding case and character were absurd. Blatantly ignored evidence and brought in other issues from outside the case timeline that had nothing to do with the claim, I don't even think that is legal. The occupational specialist even admitted that my "time off task", at the very least, would prevent me from holding substantial gainful employment. I thought he seemed pretty nice and respectful at the hearing, but after reading his denial letter, I not only felt insulted, but infuriated at the lack of respect this guy exudes in his "observations". Although I was extremely nervous at the hearing, I was open, honest and forthcoming and never once tried to exaggerate my symptoms, condition or story. This guy not only denied me in the face of solid evidence, but also had the nerve to question my integrity. This talking suit is a slimeball. Probably couldn't hack it as a real judge, so now hes a SJA ,skrewing people out of their much needed (and paid-into) disability benefits. I wish I could give him negative-stars. He has a reputation. If you get this guy, I feel for you and you might as well get your appeals counsel paperwork ready. Good luck.

This Judge while appearing pleasant in court mis read 2 question on the paper work and accused me twice of lying and drug seeking even tho he had medical proof from doctors in front of him. He asked me questions totally unrelated to my disabilities and even my Lawyer Kelling Jennings turned on me as well and asked me if all i did was sit and eat all day as i have gained a great deal of weight do to the medications i was forced to take. It was a horribl biased experienced. Completely unfair. My witness was denied to testify in my behalf. I have NEVER been examined by a SSI doctor or psychiatrist ever. They ignored Ive been applying for 7 years and they want to pay me back pay for 2. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. They should both be disbarred.

All I can say about Judge John T Molleur is he is fair. I was told by my own attorney he was mean and all that but I didn't feel any hostility from him at all, he let me explain my situation no matter how long I took. I had my hearing on 8 Sept 2016 and was told my case was approved on 10 Nov 2016. Now just waiting on my letter and back pay. The thing he wanted was me to change my onset date which I totally approved of, so I have nothing negative to say about him, he asked what he's required to ask but obviously he agreed with me. The Vocational expert did say there was no job for me to do as well, I guess that helped but I haven't gotten my package yet.

Judge Molleur denied my case. I had lumber fusion of the l4,l5, S1 with all of my attending physicians writing that I am unable to work. Even the Dr that sits in the hearing stated on record that hypothetically he cannot do any work of any type. I was in severe pain and and was unable to sit while the hearing was going on. However the Judge still denied me. How unfair the people that need it can't get it.

When I went into my hearing with Judge Wynne O'brien Perdons I was happy to hear that I was going before a new judge. I have never in my life been before any type of judge or any law enforcement, so to hear she was new put me a little at ease, since this whole disability world is new to me. God knows, I would much rather be able to work then go through all of the chronic pain and suffering that I go through every single day and every night, as I am sure many other people out there who are truly disabled would agree. Looking back at the day of my hearing I was so nervous I couldn't think straight. For me; It was like going to a doctor and having so many questions for them, and wanting to tell them all of the things that I battled physically during the month, but my mind goes completly blank at that presice moment of course. When leaving my appointment all of the questions I wanted to ask comes back to me like a flood, and I would think to myself "I forgot to tell him/her this or that". Unfortuntely, my case was denied, I think because of my own testimony and other reasons. When my hearing was over and I walked out the door, all of things I wanted to tell her came back like a flood, and all I wanted to do was go back in there and cry out for mercy because the pain I am in all the time, and I know I cant work, but I didn't. After reading her desision all I did was cry for days. I felt her jugement of me was so unfair because things were taken out of content, and I truly have alot of pain, how can chronic pain even be measured? I have worked hard all of my life, until I finally had to admit to myself that I am disabled. This was a very hard thing for me to come to terms with. After reading some of the reviews regarding the other judges, I was glad that I went before Judge Wynne O'brien Persons. Best of luck to all of the people who are truly disabled, but were denied.

MAY GOD BLESS THIS ALG. I AM A DISABLED VETERAN WHO SERVED MY COUNTRY. I BECAME DISABLED IN 2005. I HAVE APPLIED FOR SSD BENEFITS FOR 6 YEARS, I AM HOMELESS, LOST MY RETIRED MILITARY WIFE, WHO SERVED THIS COUNTRY BEFORE PASSING AWAY.WORKED EVERY SINCE I WAS 15 YEARS OLD. THE SSA DENIED ALL MY REQUESTS, OTHER JUDGES DENIED MY REQUEST. BUT, JUDGE OPP FINALLY APPROVED IT. HAVING BEEN BORN IN HARD TIMES, SUFFERING WAS NOT NEW TO ME. THE MONEY WAS NOT AN ISSUE TO ME. JUST BEING AWARDED SOMETHING THAT I EARNED, AND, IN MY WORSE OF THE WORSE TIME, NEEDED. THIS ONE JUDGE READ ALL THE DOCUMENTS, AND SAW THAT FOR 6 YEARS, I WAS UNFAIRLY DENIED MY BENEFITS. HE WILL BE TRULY BLESSED WHEN HE LEAVES THIS WORLD. AND, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM FOR SEEKING THE TRUTH.

It is very important, to have your Primary Care Provider to complete the Residual Functional Capacity(RFC) forms for you. The Judge needs evidence of your total impairment(s) and limitations. The Judge must adhere to the federal guidelines. Your work history will speak for you. If you are 55 or older, and have the appropriate medical evidence and your documents are well organized by you or your representative, this is a plus. Answer all questions honestly, and make sure your paper work is up-to-date. Be prepared to answer questions concerning your Daily Activities. Visit youtube.com and search for "Social Security Disability Hearings", the videos are very helpful. The Lawyers provides helpful information.

Honorable Judge Richard Opp is absolutely honorable and very deserving of that title, he is very fair, if you have a legitimate case and the evidence to back it up he will decide in your favor, you cant ask for anything more. My disability lawyer Casey Cox of dovedisability.com of Camas WA, is an awesome disability lawyer and if you want a disability lawyer that will actually work for you and fight for you, he is it. Casey was aggressive, wouldnt take no for an answer, kept right on fighting even after some denials and that is key, dont let SSDI deny you and try and make you think you cant win because you can if you have a legitimate case, consistency is key, attack, attack, attack and we won because of GOD's divine help of course. May GOD bless these honorable gentlemen. service connected disabled veteran usmc

Honorable Judge Richard Opp, I can not tell you how wonderful it was to go to court in front of you and see you not only listened to me but you read the medical evidence you looked at everything and was familiar with my record before I walked in the door. You treated me like I was a real person. After years and years of fighting for any help or disability and believing in my heart again I would not get it because of how the last law judge treated me. Like I was dirt and worthless and a lair. Without even concitering any of my medical and throwing out anything that did prove I am disabled. You Sir were a god-sent to be in front of. You were very professional and took my fears away even through my body pain sitting there that day was great. You Sir understood and read the MRI reports and the rest of the evidence. You Sir I can not thank you enough for treating me like I wasn't garbage to be sitting in front of you. I wish more judges ( like you did ) would take the time to read the record and not just say I don't want to be bothered.

Judge Schuman tends to stick close to a script for the beginning of his questions and then delves deeper if he sees anything that isn't in the record or that is confusing. He tends to be moderately prepared for the hearings beforehand, reviewing the evidence somewhat. However, he's cagey and tries to confuse reps with whether he'll grant or not. Hearings tend towards an hour long. Nice in person to most reps, but he'll push claimants ******* certain issues, such as lack of exercise, post-onset work activity, age, and even how they pay the bills. He is very understanding to inability to afford treatment. Apparently he was kicked out of the Denver office and does most hearings in Casper, WY. All in all, a middling type of judge.

Got denied for no good reason. The Disability system isn't nearly adequate to adress all the disabled in this country. This is why we have so many crazy people sleeping on the streets.

Horrible. Asks belittling questions, ignores treating physicians’ records and notes, doubts diagnoses and undermines your disabilities. Got a denial that could’ve passed for a Mad Libs.

As a rep with 20 years experience.....This judge is just fine. I don't know if I won my clients case but the hearing was normal. Some judges like help from the rep. Not this one. He's got it. Which is fine!!!! Just stay quiet until you are supposed to talk. I didn't find him much different from any of my local judges who are all great!

She is actually the Regional Chief Judge, and doesn't really do many Utah cases.

I have been before Judge Stroup several times over the years representing claimants. She is always personable and allows the claimant's to have a fair and full hearing. In my opinion, she weighs the evidence objectively and without pre-conceived biases as some ALJ's seem to do. She knows her record well, and is thoughtful and balanced. Even in the cases that have been disapproved, my clients felt respected by her which says a lot about her nature.

This Judge shows no empathy ,no heart, and often harassing about how his tax dollars being are spent on lazy ass people. I have a screen shots of such post. He has a sever case of alcoholism from childhood. I would hate to think I had to go b4 this Judge ,take a look at approval rate .He should be taken off the bench. This is the truth I will send you copies of this federal Judge David Willis and often brags about his making of 175,000and paying 30,000 in income taxes. If you would like to see these obnoxious post contact memfoa@aol.com This post has been sent "rights to a good disability Judge.

He just started verbally attack people on a fb page, from back in Memphis where he use to work. Calling people stupid, communist, and that he was going to continue blowing up the lady's post. He sent several ugly pm's to people. This man was an attorney in Memphis and now a judge in Idaho. Something is not right about this guy. Very disturbing with his rants.
