A gentleman of the old school. Likes a good opening statement. He's like your favorite uncle but he's no soft touch. You'd better have good evidence.

This judge screwed my life up because he and my attorney did not get along. They letmy work credits run out before myheating came up without telling me. Needless to say my attorney retired the same month and Avots retired a month after that. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran so why dont I recieve SSDI which I starting paying into at age 15. VERY UNFAIR

I hope I get this Judge for my hearing. He has the highest approval rate. This whole process is nerve racking, and has really made my Manic Depressive Disorder worse.

Judge Batson is a gentleman and seams to be a caring and understanding person! He took time went over everything, conversed with me and my attorney, had to make changings in paperwork because dates were wrong and a few other things that my attorney had wrong which he caught, he's very sharp! I had very good med records to back me and I think what was what made it as a little more easy and the fact my doctor wrote a letter stating my medical condition! I respect this Judge and in my view of him he was right, just, and fair!

Make sure you submit a pre-hearing brief and be prepared to discuss the evidence. If you know your file, Judge Chambers is a very decent judge to deal with. If you do sloppy work, he won't be very forgiving. Overall, Judge Chambers is one of the good guys but his hearings do tend to drag out longer than most.

I had my hearing in Feb 2014 was told by the judge would have decision in March it is now July no decision yet.Just wondering how long must I wait for a yes or no decision?
Had judge chambers very pleased with him. He was the best judge to have.
My name is jacqueline and ive got judge chambers for my hearing ,ive read some very good things about him and i pray that i get approved .He seems like a very fair judge and im glad to go before him for my case.
He’s a narcissist, coke head, and liar. He hides evidence in the form of transcripts, violates the constitutional rights of the people before him, and yells and intimidates them and their attorneys. The yelling and intimidation has been going on since the 1990s. He ought to be arrested. In short, he ought to be arrested and stripped of any benefits he might have received as ODR. It’s time to take trash like him off the bench for good. The court systems in the US need to get disinfected of roaches like him.
I feel that judge Chambers took the time to listen to My Testimony he was very respectful. I'm praying that my medical evidence along with my attorney and my testimony will render a favorable decision. I was told to look for a decision between four to six weeks possibly three months in the mail.
Dont get your hopes up, totally dismissed SSI Doctors notes, Federal doctors notes and primary care doctors files. To him to get approved you need to be 30 minutes from death.
The man is a liar and/or he has attention problem. He lied about not presenting evidence when the evidence was there. Lied about not needing assistance to stand up. Doesn't notice that sitting slightly sideways relieves pressure off my coccyx. Doesn't notice using arm rest to get up. Doesn't notice a woble in gait. He disregards medical evidence in the record. Thinks he's more ecperienced than the medical doctor. He came short of calling one of my GP incompetent when he's the incompetent one for not noticing physicians can share the same last name and work in the same office but licensed for different specialities. He adds information to his review not reviewed with the applicant and without giving the applicant the opportunity to deny or explain his allegations against the applicant. He thinks someone needs to have the same level of pain on a daily basis- which some ppl alledge and may very well be true. To be honest, Chambers needs to be disbarred. The list of LIES he made up and the number of evidence he willfully disregarded can only lead to the following conclusion, Judge Chambers is impartial and a ******.
To the Honorable Judge Amanda Craven, Thank you for the disposition in my situation. I risked my life every minute of everyday that I went to work, I appreciate you and your fairness. Very Good and Fair Judge. He did a very good job on my case.
Get ready to be turn down soon as you walk in. He don't care how depressed you are or if your behind in bills. But he will make you think he's on your side with the Vocational Expert. Even if all I repeat your doctor can say how sick you are this judge will turn his head at the doctors notes. Also you can have all the medical info he will find some way to turn you down. Ask for another judge. Font waste your time.

Judge Heaton heard my disability case on Mar.26 2014. Actually on my birthday. She made me feel comfortable in her court room. She told me before we started if I needed a break or to stand and move around, it would be fine. I did have to stand up for a little while after sitting 15-20 min. She seemed genuinely interested in hearing what I had to say. She listend very close to what I said and seemed to soak up the information at hand. My attorney (Kenneth Miller) ask most all the questions. Judge Heaton only had 2 or 3 questions for me. She actually stopped my attorney before we were finished. To make her decision then and there. She didrule in my favor, whitch im grateful for. Judge Heaton seems to really care and try to understand what problems you are having. Before I left she wished me well with my health problems. And also a Happy Birthday!! Another reason she seems to be a REAL person. She sure didn't have to do that!!

re: ALJ JULIANA P. HEATON II had my hearing May 12, 2020 with Judge Heaton on the telephone because of COVID19 and I was treated so well by her. She showed actual compassion and concerns about my health issues like no one else ever had in the system. She made made it so easy for me to talk openly about what was going on in my life to cause me to file for my SSI and I felt she earnestly listened to me. No matter how she rules on my case I will always highly respect her. Thank Judge Heaton... You treated me as a real person when I needed it most.

This judge is a joke. You have many medical experts oppinions backing your claim, "but" because he doesnt like the answers, he gives them no merit or weight! He is a judge, not a doctor, but he feels the need to, in so many words, say, "your doctor doesnt know what he/she is talking about". He doesnt review all medical records. ONE, example of MANY inconsistencies from Him ( he wants to point out inconsistencies of the claimant, lets point fingers at him! Had A CT scan showing, cirrhosis, enlarged spleen, Gal stones. His words "claimant states he has enlarged spleen but no medical record proving such" ( realy? who is inconsistent now?) Diagnosed with Agorapbobia, social phobia, bi polar, fear of being around people. The judge seems to believe, if you have such phobia, surely this would be observed and a problem being around people in a venue setting such as an "emergency room" REALLY? So if someone has agoraphobia or social phobia, this would prevent them from doing something thats not an option. Medical Emergency, hospital, Emergency room ? this isnt dinner, its a MUST.

Does not review medical records or diagnostic tests. On 3 instances in Mr. Hess's denial, he stated for each impairment, there were no medical records, findings or lab results backing claimants impairment thus the claimant is not credible. Yet, within the records, even the ones Mr. Hess had ( copies submitted to me by SSA ), there were a multitude of medical records, imaging, labs and Doctors statements..How crooked is the system? My attorney informed me the judge made an error of findings and we appealed to the review council . The review council wouldnt even review the "proof of error", these crooks, blatantly sent it back siding with the judge?? My attorney stated they were wrong but also stated that It's the government, if they tell you the sky is brown, you best believe it is brown. He said cases before Judges are a toss of a coin. How true it seems!
It is your Uncle Paul
Judge Hess is very fair, his compassion and caring professionalism was truly appreciated. Thank you Judge Hess!
Judge Hess has gotten worse. He used to be a pretty decent ALJ but now he's turning down cases he wouldn't have thought twice about when he was in Charlotte. Maybe it's government targets but it's no coincidence that Greenville judges average 42% denial rate. There's no spread there at all and I guess it's the same all over. Hess has opted not to rock the boat and deny righteous cases to keep his average up. Shame on him.
I was treated so unfairly, been disabled since 2017 and its as if they do not care when you have credible medical evidence of your condition in front of them. Im Struggling to survive.

Judge Jenkins is a warm, compassionate human being. She reads her files thoroughly and expects reps to be prepared. She is respectful and courteous to claimants and puts them at ease. She isn't a soft touch by any means but she applies the law fairly and without favor. Gets 5 stars from me.

I had a Phone interview w/Judge Jenkins, and she listened to what I and my friend had to say.....no matter the outcome of my case, I was very pleased w/Judge Jenkins.
Horrible experience with Judge Jenkins: Got my denial letter today and A SLEW of false information. additionally, there were SEVERAL medical records she failed to consider. any information , regarding my medical issues, she ignored. ONE MAJOR issue was this: I was hospitallized and told I needed surgery, yet 2 different hospital surgeons refused to do the surgery because of my poor health and the real possibility of something major going wrong. She didnt even consider this. again, their are A LOT of medical evidence/records she failed to review. Yet, the information provided by the SSA's doctors ( of course in the governments favor), she referenced, my doctors testimony, she gave little or no weight! Additionally, something troubling- her office sent me, a encrypted CD with all of the exhibits/evidence for my review. this is a CD you have to have a passcode to open. last evening, after I received the denial letter and within the denial letter, she referenced exhibits, I went to my CD, opened the documents to compare testimony and discovered around 24 pages of a medical file for some complete stranger..Not giving out the name, but it was a female who gave birth to a baby premature with a great deal of health issues. We have similar last names but a complete stranger. I have her medical history, account number, etc..I will be contacting my local news outlet about this. Im sure they will want to do a story regarding patients medical privacy. Im going to do my best and try and track down the patient in my file and let her know about this. Clearly A HIPPA violation. As well, it goes to show that the ALJ, judge Jenkins, certainly did not review my entire medical history, for if she had, she would have assuredly seen this inexcusable mishap .
This judge is totally unprofessional and sets her own rules. fails to consider "your" medical doctors testimony but gives all wait to SSA examiners. She claimed I claimed several impairments but no medical records to back those claims thus my testimony was not credible. This judge had MORE than enough medical records to prove disability otherwise. Regarding my mental health, she claimed no history of suicidal attempts or ideations, yet, in the record was 4 recent medical records I went to an er with suicidal ideations, I have cut my wrist, Go to a mental health facility whom conducted an evaluation for SSA and stated I was very much not able to hold a job due to conditions. I have ( prior to hearing ) over the past year, SENT THE SSA ODAR OFFICE suicidal letter letting them know, i would be killing myself ( luckily I did not - wouldnt want them to win) but records are ALL in the exhibits and evidence. A week prior to hearing, was in the hospital, 2 different surgeons stated I needed an important surgery but they refused to do the surgery because my health make me a high risk for major complication and a 50% chance of something going wrong! she FAILED to reference that. Even at the hearing, I asked her, "please review all the files in depth", she promised me she would, said she takes her job seriously and will review all the medical records. BS - Prior to Hearing, SSA ODAR office sent me a cd with the exhibits that would be reviewed during hearing ( evidence ). The CD they sent me, had a complete strangers medical records on it. After the denial letter, I wrote that office in disgust being they had a complete strangers medical records in my evidence file and "if" they would have "thoroughly" reviewed my evidence, they would have seen the mistake..2 days after I told them about this, they sent 4 officers from Homeland Security to my house to retrieve that CD..They tried im sure, to sweep it under the rug, but I have also contacted all major news outlets about this.
Judge Jenkins was precise, thorough, diligent, and professonal. Judge Jenkins based her decision on medical opinon as well as her conclusion from facts she gathered from me.
Judge Theresa R. Jenkins is discerning, she's respectful and she's fair...'nuff said.
Judge JENKINS was very kind and listens I have not recieved a decision yet my hearing was on the 29th of Aug. but my experience in her court room was really good I was comfortable and felt respected and well treated and listened too.

When Judge Jenkins heard my case, I was really scared and nervous. I honestly did not feel that it went well. I felt initially like she cut me off in mid-sentence a few times and that left me feeling as though she would not fully understand my limitations. She did approve my case. I am very grateful, as my condition has worsened. If you suffer with serious pain, you know that it's difficult to think and concentrate on much because the pain literally zaps your brain. I don't have much recollection of the hearing, except that I did not feel it went well (I'm on meds also that zap my brain). At any rate, she stated that she put a lot of weight on my medical records and doctors statements. So from this, I would say she is a fair judge. I came to this page before my case was heard.. because like most people I was anxious and nervous and wanted to get some idea of what to expect. I would say to you that if you do really have a case, and your medical records DO reflect your statements, then you will be fine.
Sensible and fair. She doesn't much like cases involving drugs and alcohol but she won't deny just because your client is a lush. She's well-versed in the Rulings and Regulations and likes to see a pre-hearing brief.

I believe Judge Alice Jordan is very thourgh in her decisions with reviewing all information provided. There should be more Judges like her so people with REAL disabilities are approved & not the addicts & people that pretend they are disabled that is what makes it so hardfor the true ddisabled people to get approved. Judge Jordan has a great sense of judgment to sort these people out.
I was very impressed with her I have to applauded her for the hard work that goes into making her decision and all the evidence and notes and laws she has to deal with daily weeding out the fraud from real hurt people hard job done well kudos
Very nice lady. Seemed generally concered about overall conditions. and everbodys best interest. Honored to have her preside over my trial , and thankful.....

I had Judge Lamb in 2009 and he was more than fair with me...Done an On the Record review and apologized for me ever having to wait....Never held the hearing because he said it was clearly unnecessary based on the file...

I enjoy my hearings with Judge Lamb. He is sarcastic to reps which I don't take as negative and he has always been kind to my clients. I respect him and appreciate his willingness to have a discussion about the case.

Judge Lamb is one of the best judges I've appeared in front of. He pays close attention to what the doctors are saying and what the diagnostic tests reveal. He is kind and respectful to claimants. But do not mistake kindness for weakness. If your case is not a strong one, you'll have to work hard to convince him but Judge Lamb has always given my clients the benefit of the doubt.

I like Judge Lamb. He made the best decision he could considering my attorney was not prepared. Judge Lamb makes you feel comfortable during the hearing. He can sense when you are nervous and makes you feel like everything is going to be ok.

This is one of the worst judges I have appeared in front of. He pays no attention to the testimony, is unfamiliar with the details of the record, and has clearly made up his mind before he ever hears the first word from the claimant. Although he comes across as personable, he shows no capacity for actual empathy and evaluates people from a position of distrust rather than trust.

I think Judge Lamb was as fair as they come, he took time to read my medical records and knew my health would get no better. My health is getting worse and i am very thankful he took the time to read my medical conditions. I wish he also issued the checks, he awared my disability on June 17, 2014 and recived first check fourth Wed. in Sept. I have yet to get my back pay and everytime I call I get a run around from each person i talk too. I wounder if they had to pay interest I would get it any faster. December 17 will be 6 months, I beleve if Judge Lamb was over that as well we would not have to wait as long and keep getting a run around. Sincerly, Stacy Godfrey
I had my day in front of Judge John S Lamb today. He was understanding and very fair. He made me feel relaxed. Needless to say, I think he is very honest judge even though I couldn't go back to the beginning of my disability claim, I understood the decision he made.I thank my lawyer, the vocational expert and judge lamb for the quick and favorable decision. This judge is the real deal
I had the opportunity to present my case in front of Judge Lamb in April of 2016 and he was very helpful. I didn't have an attorney but he still treated me with respect and ensured I understood the process. My decision was favorable and I am grateful for his compassion concerning my case. He also was very knowledgeable of my records and submitted paperwork.
Judge Lamb stated at my hearing there was no work I could do then turned around afterwards and denied my claim. He looked at opinions of their Drs that have never even saw me over all of my Drs opinions (3 diff Drs). I have numerous issues and take to many meds to list. Some of the info that I received back from him isn't even correct. Now to appeal if I live long enough.
My son was a nervous wreck about his hearing but the second we walked in the room everything was great. Judge Lamb was the most compassionate and caring legal person I ever met. We thought we were going to lose. We were so lucky to have this Judge there is justice after all.
Be careful with this ALJ and be prepared to get denied, even if you have got a good case. It does not matter if you are 55 or older, you will get denied even if your doctors say you are disabled. He does not believe what he is told by claimants.
Very kind and compassionate. He made me feel at ease. He does review your medical and helps you feel at ease. I have not received a decision as of this time , but I will say he is a fair judge.
I had a hearing with this Administrative law judge today after a 3 year appeal battle with Social Security. This judge didn't seem to have no interest in my case and appeared to be kinda rude. I would not wanna have to have another hearing with this judge. It is like he doesn't believe what a claimiant is telling him when it is all clearly in the medical evidence file.
This man is looking to deny your claim or to force you into giving up any entitlement to retroactive benefits. His determinations on credibility are inconsistent with the Rulings. His decisions are full of boilerplate but not a great deal of substance. State agency doctors are given more weight that your treating doctor. Read his decisions carefully as much that is in there doesn't hold up to scrutiny.
The Appeals Council must be getting sick and tired of reversing this judge's decisions. His analysis of the evidence on such things as a claimant's past work is seriously flawed. He seems to lack the basic ability to understand what constitutes a "severe impairment" (slight abnormality standard) and he consistently fails to consider impairments in combination. Instead, he deals with each alleged impairment as a separate and distinct issue. This is stuff that, twenty years ago, most ALJs understood and applied in their decisions, but this judge loves boilerplate which he puts in his decisions to disguise his lack of understanding of the facts.
A kind, compassionate judge who'll pay a righteous claim and won't try and force an amended onset date. She knows her cases so be prepared and you'll be fine.

Judge Paschall heard my disability case. She offered to grant it immediately using the amended onset date of one year. I declined to accept that but the judge still approved it that day.and am in the fourth month of waiting with no communication. I wonder if this wait is punishment for not accepting the amended date offer.
I saw this judge on August 7th and had she seem compassionate to what I have been through and I have been waiting for an approval and all of a sudden she ask for a questionnaire to be filled out by an independent PH.D to review my files. Did anyone else go through this and what does it mean. I have been ill for a long time and always dreaded going to this extinct to get my disability but can't work so I had no choice. The waiting is the worst for me.
I'm waiting for a decision I've been waiting a long time can't do nothing without no money I put in Nov. 2016
Had my hearing June 2018 and was approved. Yes I had been waiting a long time(2 1/2 years) as all other people do. Wonderful judge. Was very compassionate. I could tell she had thoroughly reviewed my case before the hearing. Will grant a legitimate case.
I had my disiabled hearing on February 5, 2020 . I'm am stay waiting to see if I was approve or not. I was told that I should receive a letter thru the mail in 3 to 6 weeks . To let me know if I was approve or not. Even if am not approve I think judge Ann G. Paschall is a kind judge and know what she is doing. I think that her and my lawyer both could tell that I was nervous that day. But both told me not to be uncomfortable I was going to be ok. Even though I might not win my hearing I still approve of her as a good judge . Joyce Ann McCrackin.
Judge peace was very thoughtfull and professional and listened very well he gave me an answer a timely manner if u get him u have a good judge
If you have judge peace. Get ready to fight I've been turned down by appeals council. They upheld his decision.
I have gone before judge Peace multiple times and have been denied each time. Since 2014 till now. He has made comments about me that are irrelevant to my case and my disability. Because i have tattoos im not disable, i have a cell phone so im not disable. I watch tv so im not disable. I can honestly say that if those r the reasons for me not to be disable then 100 out of 100 people that are receiving disability are not disabled.
At first when meeting with Judge Peace he appeared stern and intimidating as he watched me take my seat. But after the hearing started I calmed down because he was very nice and understanding. I feel he has a hard job weeding out those that do not qualify for disability. Thank's Judge Peace for being fair and also for making your decision in a short time from the hearing. I have heard horror stories of long waiting times for decisions (very stressful).
I can honestly say Judge Peace is an amazing judge and I respect everything that he does. He has the eye for the truth. His decision was quick and understanding. Looks are deceiving and he completely got that. Thank you sooo much Judge Peace.
Judge peace is a very nice judge but i don't understand why he denies people that really really need the help...He denied me and i have allot of health issues...I don't work cause i have breathing issues but to judge peace that doesn't matter cause i can still use my hands arms feet and legs..ok yes that's true but also can allot of people that were not denied.....I've seen so many people out here that get disability but get around better than i do.....makes no sense....but I'll continue to fight the system just with a different judge hopefully...My body May look healthy on the outside but the inside is a total wreck and hopefully someday I'll get some help so i can afford to go to doctors..Thank you Judge peace for turning me down hopefully in the future I'll be ok
This judge will turn you down. She will be nice to your face but she's looking to deny your claim if she can even if your evidence is good. The Greenville ODAR is bringing in a lot of low-paying judges and she follows the party line; deny as many as you can.
After waiting 2months And 2 days I received my FULLY FAVORABLE letter from my hearing with Judge Petri.. Thank you for listening . She could not have been more professional and nice ..Bless you.
She seems to be very considerate!

Very good judge. She's a fairly new ALJ but you'd never guess by the way she conducts her hearings. She handles them like she's been doing the job for years. She is very fair-minded and treats claimants and counsel with respect.

Very perfessional he showed that he cared about ur case .I really liked him .I'm still waiting on my decision even or my thoughts will be the same. He has a tuff job.
Judge Walter is very caring & understandable.
Judge Walter is very caring & understandable. As nervous as I was, he made the process understandable & help me to calm myself. Unsure of his decision, but I felt heard & understood.
Judges Walter is very caring understanding and he explain things and if you don't understand something he will repeat it if you get judge Walters listen carefully he will ask you a question and if you don't understand something ask him to repeat it he will and always tell the truth I want to say he worked hard for me and I thank him for everything
Judge Walter I had a hearing with him on 9/26/17 and he was very understanding and if you didn't understand something he would repeat it and he will look over your paper work to make sure you are telling the truth and if you just tell truth and listen very careful so you can understand he will make sure you get taken care of I really appreciate his decision on my case thank you judge Walter for being a honest judge and very care and understanding
During my hearing, judge Walter texted someone he knew personally who use to work at the same place where I had been extremely abused, to ask about me. The people/person he contacted r the people who drugged n raped me, but Jusge Walter took their word against me n judge Walter laughed at me n asked me if I paid my doctor cash. Then Judge Walter had his inappropriate comments stricken from the record.
I was very pleased with judge Walter .He connected with me on my history and I do won't think him greatly.

While I have experienced the same lingering feelings of frustration and concerns as many claimants do during the seemingly long wait times for a hearing, I am relieved to say my confidence with the entire process was ultimately bolstered when my hearing began with Judge Watkins, who clearly demonstrated he had already reviewed the facts in evidence prior to my hearing and proceeded to conduct the hearing in not only a professional manner, but with a calming demeanor as well, all in a very impressive effort to efficiently clarify the facts before him. While waiting months for my hearing, I had let myself become too distracted with overall claim statistics, when in the end, I am now more convinced than ever, the facts ultimately do prevail thanks to those such as Judge Watkins, who no doubt has a responsibility on his shoulders which most fair minded people would not likely enjoy having, if trying to fill his shoes. Simply said, Judge Watkins is certainly fair (but of course a fair hearing will not change the facts for which any claimant must rightfully rely upon to prevail.)

The comment dated 2/11/13 looks like it was written by Judge Watkins himself. Anybody who has had the misfortune of appearing in front of him would never write such a glowing testimonial.

Judge Watkins proved my attorney's endorsement of him as fair and judicious, and my hearing with him proved him compassionate as well, without compromising his professionalism. I thank God for his decision, and for him personally!

Judge Watkins will deny you. This is true 70% of the time for Hearings that are actually held. He can do an entire Hearing without even making eye contact with anyone in the room. Pathetic.
I have a court date may 26,2015 for my daughter, I have heard alot, he hard on people or he never approves anyone at all, or he cold hearted, well I'm not for sure what type of person he is, but I'm sure he's doing the best he know how , and if my daughter doesn't get approved, well I will keep trying, I try to put myself in other people shoe, I'm sure it's not easy for him also,to make decisions for so many people, believe me it may seem like he cold hearted, but I promise you, he is a sweet heart deep down inside
He's a friendly snake. He doesn't care and will deny you. Even if you have 30 doctors agreeing with you, including theirs and the vocational expert.
I have a date set to go before him in January and to honest I and very nervous I can't say he bad or good I don't know him but I have he will understand my situation and approve me
Good luck. 400 pages of evidence supporting my claim. Still denied! Even with their own docs and vocational specialist's in my favor. Has lowest approvals in the nation. Someone ought to check his finances out. I think they get bonuses for denials.
I had my hearing with Glen Watkins this month. After reading all these negative post I was terrified of this man which caused me tremendous stress and severe anxiety attacks for the past year. But when I got into the hearing he was very polite, and really didn't discuss my medical issues. He had my medical records in front of him so they spoke for themselves. The only thing he asked of me was to change my date of disability to the date I turned 55.I have been informed by my advocate things went really well and that she was 98% percent sure I won my case. This judge was not mean in fact he was very polite and treated me with respect. And this is not a fraudulent post. I am a real person who honestly believes this judge does not deserve all this criticism.
I am currently waiting for my daughters decision. I'm praying for an approval however, he was very nice allowed me time to gather evidence not once but twice. My case is with the decision writer I will update!
Judge Wilson can be very tough, but the rep who works his file well and is prepared to put forth a good solid argument for his client will find Judge Wilson receptive.

It would be nice of Judge Wilson to keep an open mind instead of trying to look for any reason to deny a case. Obviously these cases are borderline cases and all have positives and negatives. Keep in mind the standard of review.

judge Wilson is very rude and unfair he needs to remember he is a small time judge not a doctor - he denied my claim mainly because I had went on a vacation the year before - I did not know people with a disability were not allowed to go on a vacation - I worked in the construction field for over 30 years as a brick mason my back is shot - I do not wish the pain I have on anyone but if Wilson could have him some of it for a few days maybe he would be more understanding and a better judge

This ALJ is the rudest and most malicious I have encountered. I gather he has never experienced any personal hardship because he appears incapable of relating to people in need. He appears to think that he is personally responsible for protecting the government against the 47%, and in achieving this mission, he operates from a position of total distrust of the claimant. I'm told that this guy is an instructor for other ALJs. If that's true, God help us all.

He is impeccably well versed in the content of every case before him, and has genuine regard for lawyers who are as well prepared as he is. As a successful attorney who dedicated his practice to SSDI Law for 10 years, I have the greatest respect for Judge Wilson's high standards in conducting hearings, and his fidelity to the proper application of Social Security Disability law. He is a fair and principled model of all that an ALJ should be.
