Fair Judge. He does not degrade you in his courtroom. He listens to your testimony; however, he rules according to the law and not emotions. I won my appeal, but I was denied a considerable amout of backpay. (14 months).

I think Judge Anderson is a very smart and fair person and our government needs more just like her.

If judge Anderson cannot or will not reign in Gary J Suttles , she is as bad as Suttles. Tell her to keep sitting on her hands and let him do anything.

Judge Beers scoffed, then scolded my lawyer during my hearing for reading from a law book to ensure that a technicality we wanted to point out was recognized. It made me feel like she had a personal vendetta against him prior to my case. I had a sick feeling in my gut after that & I knew I'd be denied. Just as I suspected- Denied! I'm literally unable to use my shoulders to move or raise my arms, my hands lock up into fists, & I can barely walk from the Lupus & Fibromyalgia that's wrecking my body. But now I have to find a way to work- SOMEWHERE. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm terrified & want to kill myself sometimes because I see no real solutions for me. She has ruined my faith in the system.

It is so terrible when you truly really need help from disability and have to fight like hell to get it and then still get denied. Your health gets worse because you don't have health insurance, and depression starts in. Judge H Beers was nice to my face, but came back with a quick judgement. She was wrong on a few things when it came to information from my doctors and my MRI. Maybe she should look into things better than being so judgemental. This is one of the reasons why this world is falling apart. It's because where people should care, they don't. I can't even give her a rating because it would be a lie.

SHE IS POSSIBLY THE WORST JUDGE OUT THERE. SHE IS MORE CONCERNED WITH HER FAKE EYELASHES THAN THE CLAIMANTS.

Judge Brower started my hearing by asking about how I was and breaking the ice with Super Bowl small talk. He asked why I thought I was disabled and I went on to explain. He sincerely viewed all the medical evidence that my lawyers turned in prior to the hearing And asked me questions about my various Dr. visits. There was some evidence and things I said, however, that did make him have some doubts about the validity of my claim. In the end he gave Me sufficient opportunity to explain myself and he took my sincerity into serious consideration in regards to making his final decision. He apologized for upsetting me emotionally and thanked me for "fighting for myself". Things look very good. He's a good and fair judge.

Please hope that you dont get this judge. He was not only arrogant but also unprofessional. Talking about the case before me and how he knows shes faking it.. That he can tell when someone is in pain. Really? How can you physically see pain. Because of this judge i am bed bound, unemployed, no income, 35 and living with my parents. Im legally disabled, yet a man with no medical degree decides if i suffer or starve. I never got to bring in my witnesses, my lawyer was unprepared, ssi never sent me to their doctors, and I couldn't even read my statement.. seam fair?? What a joke.

I recently represented a claimant before Judge Charles Brower. Judge Brower was very humane and polite to the claimant and myself. He explained the whole hearing process to the client, he then went to admit the evidence into record. He swore the claimant and VE in. He immediately interviewed the claimant, he then asked me to explain and prove on the Medical record evidence, the client's dx that meets the SSA Listing, I presented the evidence to prove dx limitations he experiences and history his symptoms. I believe this Judge was very just and willing to hear the claimant expressing himself.

I went to see this Judge who denied my case even though others have been approved having only one of the many (about 8)conditions that I have with no cure. Something is just not right, if justice was truly blind then the judge should not be able to see your color, know your gender or where you are from.

Even though The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land – meaning no state, federal law or [t]ax code can violate its terms… Supremacy Clause Article VI, Clause 2… - on August 21, 2015, The Honorable R. N. Burdette dismissed my case under 20 CFR 404.957(c)(2) [missing determination] w/o reviewing the totality of the circumstances [18 USC § 1341 - Frauds and swindles/18 U.S. Code Chapter 25 U.S. Code › Title 18 › Part I › Chapter 63 › § 1341; 18 U.S. Code § 1341… [Mail fraud (18 USC § 1341) and forgery (Chapter 41 - section 3575 of Title 42 § , violating the Due Process clause of the Constitution. 4101)] Judge Burdette ignored IRS & SSA Embezzlement of $ 5,807.07 deducted [Amounts illegally exacted on a Discharged Erroneous Assessment] from the beneficiary' by Criminal Conversion w/o Notice or Court Order - “warrant of distraint” - Amounts illegally exacted on a Discharged Erroneous Assessment. This case prove too many government bureaucrats – especially the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) & SSA- believe that they are not merely above the law, but that they are the law.

This is Sandra Thompson 335-62-0969. you saw my case back around January 2017. I had been approved an all. But social security is giving me a real terrible time and will not take the time to explain which spend down they need. I have given them nearly everything and I feel they are playing games. I emailed my attorney also because I feel like they are playing games and not wanting to pay me anything. What is they want. We had estate funds and now that money is gone but what reciepts. The reciepts of each amount that was sent or what? No one is talking and I am about to loose my rental home. I should have already had this done and over. I will be in the streets again and this time right after I have surgery done. This Mrs. Villarreal is mean and all the others on that Aldine Mail Route office are. They keep saying no we need reciepts but will not ever take the time to tell me which sets of reciepts. Is there form of some kind the executor of the estate needs to fill out and have me turn in or what. I do not know. I total frustrated and very upset right now. I am being treated very unfair and it needs to stop. To let you know that Aldine Mail Route is mostly all blacks and I am white and I sense some discrimination going on here. I hope not but I have attempted suicide several times to no success because I cannot just do it. But these people are giving me the total run around and state they over power everything and anything the judge grants. That office is corrupt probably like almost all of them. Some please explain to me what I need. Thanks.

My ssdi claim was ON COURSE. Was even offered a possible OTR by a person at ODAR. Then after firing my 1st attorny at reconsideration as it occurred to me, it’s to Attorney’s ADVANTAGE by the protocol in place for 25% back pay. TO STRING IT ON. Now. ALJ EASEMAN I LIKED. I unfortunately 5-6 weeks before my SCHEDULED LONG AWAITED HEARING, began getting calls from a odar employee! Mind u, intentionally pushing and pushing and pushing me to hire a certain ATTOREY or risk LOSING. This is at the least, unethical. Oig special agent got involved and then it took 9 months of me using my seantor to GET SOME THINGS DONE. I’m not privy to the OIG findings. I’m looking into sueing tort and stress and pain and suffering for being intimidated into hiring A CERTAIN ATTORNY 4 weeks before my claim. I did not initially but gave in KNOWING AND FEELING I MAY LOSE, not on the merits of my CASE, but by not PLAYING ALONG WITH THE GAME. They gave 6k my yes MY MONEY AWAY. I’ll be appealing then looking into all my rights as a citizen against such craziness. I won on bench decision into the record. I appreciate THE ALJ EASMAN FOR SEEING THE TRUTH IN MY DISABLITY. But, beginning to look at the WHOLE PICTURE OF WHAT I STRONGLY BELIEVE IS GOING ON AND PREHAPS SYSTEMIC. If so? Well, I’ll find out. But only 1 way, and it’s a legal process. Before 6k was given away after this attorney LIED. Well, my theopist says; RIGHT THE WRONGS, if any...... We will see. Before the fee petition farce, I rated this ALJ AS 5 stars. Not because he APPROVED ME. Docs made that possible, but his attention to MY DETAILS, not attorneys is where he lost me.

I have taken over 100 claims to hearing, and many to the Appeals Council. I was naturally apprehensive about Judge Eason based on his stats but I found him to be one of the best ALJs that I have appeared before in my entire career. He is sharp, efficient, read my brief and commented on its degree of detail. He permitted witnesses, followed the regulations to a T, and I am confident that he will decide the claim correctly. He is the best that SSA has to offer.

I have not yet had the privilege of meeting Judge Erickson, but I am scheduled for my hearing tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see any comments on here, I decided to post and comment that my attorney's office has told me that Judge Erickson is extremely fair and knowledgeable. He apparently has a reputation for taking time to listen to and read all the evidence. I'm not worried so much about the hearing as I trust that he will be fair, what I'm concerned about is making the one hour drive to the courthouse and struggling with using medical supplies in front of people.(I just pray I won't have to!) When I stumble in front of people it's very embarrassing, so I just have to remind myself that the people in the courtroom will know why I'm struggling and it'll be okay. I will most definitely come back and post a follow-up comment tomorrow, since I believe that if I came in here wanting to see feedback, I'm sure others will as well. Note: I'm giving the 5 stars based on what I have heard, since I won't meet him myself until tomorrow. Thanks for understanding.

This judge is full of crap and will deny you. In my wifes meeting with him, the vocational expert and the Judge himself said there was no type of work my wife had done in the past that she could perform now. But when the "official" report the judge wrote came back it states they both said she could. They say things in the meeting that make you feel good and that you will win, but that is not the case. The judge even put things in like asthma that my wife has ever said anything about in the report. He also basically called my wife a drug seeker and an addict.

My experience with Judge Erickson was very similar to Eric B.'s comments dated 3/9/2015. He was understanding, sarcastic, and intimidating, all in one hearing. In the unfavorable decision, he places more weight on the less significant details of your medical records, and less weight on the proof that SHOULD get you approved. A lawyer recently said to me, 'he denies just about everything.' The SSA needs to revamp its process for case reviews, because it is a violation of due process to allow judges such an extreme amount of discretion in their decisions. Our lives should not depend on the 'luck of the draw' in being assigned to a judge. There are laws and guidelines that should be followed.

I saw him in November 2016. He is a rude bully! He asked me questions but then he answers them with his assumptions. He denied me, saying he chooses to not believe the 9 different experts, including the 3rd party expert in the court room. I’m not sure why he thinks he knows more than the educated doctors. I think he enjoys playing God over people’s lives. Don’t expect him to approve your disability, no matter how much evidence you have. I can only pray that Karma teaches him a valuable lesson one day...

Having had the complete and utter displeasure of meeting her, it is quite easy to rate her with the lowest marking, I would rate even lower if possible. She is rude, condescending, unethical, and completely incompetent as a judge. She cannot remain impartial and makes her decisions based on personal reasons, not the facts presented her. I am ashamed that a person of this caliber and low moral fiber is allowed to hear cases that determine the future of honest applicants and depend on her decision to better their unfortunate situation.

It was a pleasure meeting Judge Estrada. The judge was professional and patient when I stated I did not understand her question. Judge Estrada in my opinion was caring and concerned about my illness and my living conditions.I thanked the Lord for giving me such a compassionate and understanding judge to rule over my case. I'm still waiting for my approval letter, but I have that she will follow through with her judgement as she stated about my case.

I just received my denial letter, I saw Judge Patricia Henry, every paragraph was lies, she twisted and contorted my records and testimony to fit her denial. She basically committed perjury! She contradicts herself in different paragraphs in regards to my disabilities and abilities, she needs to get off the bench STAT! I will be filing all sorts of complaints and even taking this to our legislature. We presented her with evidence, she twisted factual evidence to being non-existent! If you get this judge, kiss your case good-bye!

I can testify now: If Senator Cruz had life-threatening histamine issues which are NOT ORDINARY ALLERGIES and his doctor from the past had died so that he had self-medicated from lack of SSDI due to having faith to soldier on with Slaying Swords but not disposable income for health care NOT DUE TO NOT REPEALING OBAMACARE BUT TO NEVER APPLYING WITH REASONABLE INCOME LIMITS BUT NOT ASSET ALLOWANCES, FOR MEDIC ASSIST TO INSURE THE DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY, OF CHILDREN, INDIGENT PEOPLE, DISABLED PEOPLE WHO WERE MINIMALLY EMPLOYABLE WITH SEVERE HEALTH PROBLEMS OR UN-EMPLOYABLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH SCARS, OR MILITARY VETERANS OF THE ARMED FORCES HONORABLY DISCHARGED BETWEEN 1914 AND 2018; and not in possession of records of emergency treatment where his condition was ********** to well-trained doctors about a disease which has not been taken seriously by the American Medical Association; and then Ted's disability was discredited by a person with legal ability but no fair competence about medical ability judging from hearsay of a subjective general medical person not any required living specialist summoned by the claimant or the SSA State Office of Disability Determination on request of the claimant subsequent to ODD denial pursuant to reconsderation apoeal—then we could be rid of Mr. Cruz having to be Senator Cruz, if he had not already one last of seeming myriad shocking, unfortunate events. HOWEVER, we would not get to be shocked for or without the claimant about his bicameral colleagues' appallment at Paul Ryan's proposal to destroy Medicare vecause we would have expected Senator Cruz's friends Orrin and little MARCO first to have destroyed the SSA, thr ODD, and any kind of ODAR

SSA ODAR seems to exemplify the unconstitutional abridgement of a disabled person to peaceable assembly because they believe in being mentally or physically inhibited from normal accessibility to public places, or feel VERY DISTURBED TO PASS ALL UNDERSTANDING where the way to go is here and not UP TARE out of the light and shadows—and THEY YET MAY LIVE, pitifully...

I was nervous about judge Morris because the only comments I saw for him were in Spanish and did not detail how he was. When I got in the room with him, I was nervous, but he explained everything so that I could understand and he was very attentive to my case and my lawyer. I just got my approval letter two days ago. I feel like judge Morris understood the severity of my case and understood that I would not be able to work with the problems that I have.

This judge is very professional, kind and courteous. He will let you explain yourself to the fullest, but also ask the appropriate questions as well. Make sure you have all medical records to back up your testimony. Because if not he will see right through you, his numbers can contest to that. Again if you don't have the medical records to back up your statement, I suggest you don't waste his time or your time........

I give it his judge 0 stars. I am 50 years old and I haven't worked since 2010. I am single and my 12 year old autistic son lives with me. We live on $733 per month plus food stamps. I went before him in November 2014 in Portland Oregon. My lawyer was very happy be ause the doctors all agreed except one that I don't even remember seeing (this includes three of Ssd doctors). The vocational expert agreed and said I could not be gainfully employed. When I received my denial letter and read the absolute garbage this guy stated as fact I couldn't believe that it was real. My lawyer sent in my appeal that same week. He decided that I could be employed as a bank monitor watcher even after the expert said no to that very job. Did you know there are three jobs in the entire state of Oregon for a bank monitor watcher? He said that since I was able to smoke that my hands are in fact not disabled. He took things that were written in my records by my specialist totally out of context and didn't ask me anything about them during my hearing. He said I refused to follow his orders about physical therapy. Totally not true. My insurance does not cover it! My doctor in fact wrote that it would help and there was a request made and denied. He said I have a boyfriend to take care of me. What has that got to do with my disability? Not to mention that is 100% untrue. He said since I was able to smoke my hands aren't in fact disabled. What? There are over 50 mistakes and lies in his findings. Now I am still 9 months away from another shot, but it will NOT be in front of this person! I am requesting a new judge this week!

Judge Mozyrsky twists your answers to fit a denial. He is not qualified to read my x rays but never states who did. Accused all medical and mental health practitioners and myself of lying, exaggerating and being manipulative.I He gives you every chance to explain yourself but your not going to prove yourself unless you have a good lawyer. Be educated about you own case and confident. I was terrified and under so much mental and emotional turmoil that I barely remember anything. I know I could have given direct answers to his questions. Being vague and not specific enough gives them an opportunity to guess at your claimed disability. It also doesn't seem to matter what the Vocational expert says so why do they even bother with them? Judge does not take onto consideration your documents but that of his own medical staffs opinion, again he never mentions who they are. The Judges medical staff never examined, evaluated, met or even spoke to me. So if my Dr's, the x rays and myself are lying what chance do we have? Judge I understand it's your job to sort out the undeserving but you are so wrong in many of your cases. I'm not willing to lose everything I have including a roof over my head just to get disability, apparently you must think I would. Please use a little more compassion.

I feel that he does not care about people with mental health issues. He said that I wasn't credible he also said this about my regular Dr. My file was reviewed by doctors I have never seen in my life. The 'VE said I couldn't do any of my previous jobs and my skills where not tranferrible. Was told I could do jobs I know nothing about. I'm over 53 so my age wasn't taken into consideration. He's not a fair judge.

This judge needs to try and get SSD himself and try to live in poverty and almost homeless. He is very arrogant doesn't care about people with mental disabilities or medical disabilities. I've been trying for over three years and have been denied 3 times. I'm now appealing his decision. He told me that my doctors and I where not credible. The 'VE said I couldn't do my previous jobs but, I could detail cars, hospital housekeeper or a yard maintenance. I'm 54 years old. Get off your bench and do those jobs yourself!

Judge Vadim Mozyrsky, he should be fired. He denies claims saying that your not credible and your doctor and therapist are not credible also. He needs to be disbarred. I called my Senators office and they were upset also. I am trying to get my SSD again. I have already been denied again. My attorney and the guy reviewing my case didn't get my medical records. The determination guy only went by the denial I got the first time I called. He contacted people I have never had anything to do with. My attorney didn't do there job either. SSD didn't recognize who my attorney was until after they made my decision. I've had to get my own medical records for my appeal. I am not very happy. I think the guy in the determination depart need to be fired. When I was working I would never be allowed to do a half a**ed job.

This judge doesn't care what happens to people with mental health diagnosis. He twists everything so he can deny you. He has a very high denial rate. He needs to try to get SSD so he can go thru the hell the SSD puts people thru. I have now been denied five times. They don't take into account what the vocational expert says. Why waste taxpayer money on the VE if this judge doesn't listen to them. He also must like people with mental health disabilities. He must think everyone who has that diagnosis is not credible. I'd like him to try to get SSD. The entire system is flawed from your first filing to the appeals council you don't get a fair shot at getting SSD unless you are obese, alcoholic or a drug addict. He needs to retire from the bench or show some compassion for what the claiments are going thru. I hope he doesn't stay in Portland very long he needs to go back to Texas or California this man has way to much power and he screws people what is rightfully yours.

I did not have a lawyer, I don't know if that affected how he perceived me. But I was very impressed with him. My claim was approved at the ALJ hearing level.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Of course I was nervous, but was put at ease upon meeting Judge Norman. His staff was also very pleasant, which helped me feel more confident to speak once the hearing began. I have a somewhat unusual situation that brought me to an ALJ hearing, but Judge Norman understood my challenges more than I expected. My advice is to be sure you are prepared prior to your hearing and whenever you speak to any Social Security personnel, be sure to take detailed notes or record the conversation. Keep your documents organized, so they are readily available and up-to-date. This way you have solid evidence of what transpired. I did not feel I needed a representative, so I did my own forms and letters. I hope I did well enough to receive a favorable outcome. Either way, Judge Norman is a cool guy.

I know this is just a comment place but from the comments, I can guess Judge Norman is pretty good at his job. I'm not looking for sympathy just a fair chance for my mom. Would anyone by chance have his e-mail because I really would like to speak to him. I don't know how these things work but I would appreciate any help as soon as possible! I don't want my mom to suffer any longer nor do I want to lose her. She has been denied 4 times and hasn't worked for about 5 years.

Great Judge! Really made the situation relaxing and explained the hearing process and his process in deciding cases. Too bad he's a senior Judge and only hears cases part of the year. He has been the best Judge I've been infront of. If you get Judge Schwartz you are VERY lucky!

I went to this so called judge on April 6, 2018 in the Dallas North office on Coit road with a mountain of evidence to prove my multiple mental disabilities and he denied my case 101 days later. He makes political decisions. Because I am an educated white male from the affluent neighborhood of Colleyville, TX he denied me. My family pays a fortune in taxes to pay for Stanley salary which he clearly doesn't earn. Warning this judge hates white men from affluent backgrounds.

Judge Swartz was professional, forthcoming and extremely pleasant to me at the hearing. He took the time to explain the process before I presented my case before him. The SSA should be pleased to have such knowledgeable and competent Judge. He allowed me to present my case uninterrupted. I believe from his demeanor that he makes fair decisions based upon the evidence presented before him. Overall I give Judge Swartz a five star rating. I was very pleased with the professionalism afforded me in this matter.

I recently had an appeal with Judge Shilling, he spoken to me with compassion and hearthfelt for my suffering which seem genuine. This being the first for me and never seeing what a Disability Judge asked. Truth be told, the guy was hard to read, not even my representative could read him. He also doesn't seem to care to much for representative's in general. He wants to hear it from the horse's month per se.

The only conclusion I can come to is that The Honorable Shilling is trying either run for office soon, or take over the VA administration. He denied me recently on the grounds that I can work while: not being able to operate a motor vehicle; must walk with a cane due to knee, foot, and back issues; I have anxiety disorders which include PTSD, Agoraphobia, ADHD, Bipolar, and Manic Depression. Yes, I believe he will do just fine in either position he chooses. Those people don't care about us either. Amazing that he is one of the highest paid judges in the nation for Social Security. Now I know why he is.

Bless GOD for Judge Helen Strong! She's nice, fair and thorough in her decisions. Perhaps she looks over her cases before the hearing and have a pretty good idea of what the decision could be. It takes will documented and ongoing medical records, good work ethics. Having a good work history helps as well. Also, a good attorney advocating for you to win benefits helps a great deal. Truly more judges like Judge Strong are needed in this process. I was told she was nice and was a fair and thorough judge. I agree! My decision was GOD sent and I thank GOD that He sent Judge Strong to be the presiding judge for my hearing. GOD knew my case had merit and was warranted. You must believe all that's good is in God's timing!

I wouldn't wish this process on anyone! After dedicating 30 plus years of my life to working hard, raising a family, paying the bills and contributing to a system I believed in, the day came that I needed the system to work for me. Unfortunately though I've come to realize that the system is more broken than I am and according to everyone except Judge Strong and the handpicked members of her squad, I'm pretty darn broken. I'm a 51 yr old widow diagnosed as follows; 5 Bulging Discs of the Lumbar Spine, Scoliosis of 13%, Multi level Lumbar Spondylosis, Disc Osteophyte Complex, Facet Osteoarthritis, Severe Disc Degeneration, Moderate Narrowing of the Spinal Canal/Moderate Spinal Canal Stenosis, Anterollothesis w/ disc uncovering, Retrolisthesis, Severe disc height loss with disc vacuum Phenomenon, Lumbar spine facet arthrosis and Severe Neural Foraminal Stenosis which could result in complete Paralysis if not treated pretty quick. My physician said there was nothing more they could do and referred me to spinal surgery. As a result of the conditions mentioned above my right side from hip to toe is completely numb to the point I had to stop driving last October. I can not sit, walk, stand or lay in any one position for more than 10-15 minutes. I can't stoop, squat, bend or carry any weight. I'm in so much pain that I rarely leave my house. My quality of life is so low that at this point I just feel like I'm waiting to die. I made good money for 30 years and for 30 years I paid good money to the Social Security Administration in the event something like this might happen however, it was painfully obvious as I sat in front of Judge Strong that I was the only person in the room who had a clue what any of my medical conditions were, how they effected my daily life or if any of them met a listing. Everyone was too busy rattling off their well rehearsed, predetermined, "professional" opinion in response to Judge Strong's inquiries and collectively they managed to squash my hope of getting my back fixed so I can go back to work and actually have a life worth living again. I was never asked any questions or given the opportunity to described what living with these conditions was like, I was only given the chance to speak(very briefly) because I asked the judge for permission to do so. I waited 3 years for my appointment with Judge Strong and in less than 30 minutes a group of strangers were given the power to interpret the guidelines written by the administration thereby convincing Judge Strong to not only over look the limitations of movement and ability to perform simple tasks, the constant state of relentless pain and the referral for spinal surgery but also ignore the fact that 75% of section 1.04 of the disability evaluation of Spinal condition listings in the Social Security Disability Handbook mirrors my medical chart verbatim, still the decision was made that there is plenty of substantial gainful activity for a 51 year old woman of my health with my abilities and limitations which means the 6 figure investment I've paid into over the past 30 years will not be used to aid in the financial burden I'm currently facing for spinal surgery that hopefully allows me to get back to work and also provide treatment in time to prevent paralysis but instead it gets to be passed along to help someone else with their medical issues....The System is BROKEN!

This judge kept a smile on his face the whole time I was giving testimony and 39 days later(total wait time two years) denied my claim. Multiple disc herniations with stenosis, multiple discs already fused and cauda equina. How many more spinal surgeries do I need and how much more nerve damage do I have to endure before I'm finally approved for disabilty. This is one piece of crap.

When I was sworn in to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, they should of did the same thing with this judge. No wonder the social security system is total failure. It's based on one big scam and that's truly shameful. So many people have worked hard all their lives literally breaking their bodies and paying into a system that promises at your time of need the assistance will be there. But, when the time comes, they make you wait so long that you lose your home, your car,etc..... You have a nervous break down from the anxiety of waiting and mounting medical bills. These government monkey judges don't care. They all have at least a six figure income and probably the best health insurance money can buy. And bonuses from the government for every claim they deny. So why should they have compassion for their fellow man when their living so well. People wonder why it takes at least two years for the social security disability claim process. It's not because of the case load, there are hundreds, if not thousands of judges out there. The delay comes from the fact that judge will look at a case and study it ever so slowly to come up with as many illegal loop holes and lies as he or she possibly can just to stall the case. It's these lies and deceit that have caused the social security system to crash and burn.

He will smile in your face while stabbing you in your back. I told the truth and he still denied my claim, uncredible witness he said. 10 herniated discs, with terrible pain. Worked hard all of my life only to have this person call me a liar.

Judge Suttles denies everybody and I heard the he denied a lady the had cancer and a few months later she died. This is not right and I think that someone need to investigate him. I know there are rules and guidelines to follow, but if a person is disable why would you do that to them. He is using his authority to his advantage. He need to start denying some of these people for SSI that have not put money into the system instead of the ones that have put their money in the system.

I think it's time to overhaul the ssi systems and get rid of these judges who think they know everything. When I know five different people who get ssi that are convicted felons , drug users makers and destroyers of their families and hard working honest people are turned down well WE HAVE a PROBLEM! When a person gets treated worst than a felon or drug addict(crack, coke) What's this world coming to. Keep up the good job Judge Suttles, you have to retire some time. I will keep going and when I lay here suffering I will think of you.

This so-called judge loves to belittle people that come before him. Recently my wife had a disability hearing and about all he did was being up her previous marriage and children. You tell me what any of that has to do with getting disability? The rep my wife had also told her that he did the same thing to the very next client she was representing. Seems that the ONLY reason he is still ok the bench is his record of not approving anyone that comes in his court room.

This Judge made almost the same statement " He would see him dead before he releases any funds, or wait until his credits run out (??) " He was over ruled and took a personal issue and went and stopped funding of SSI. This man has real issues. The government needs to stop this guys. I am 71 years old and pay all his medical bills.

Is Judge Gary J Suttles an attorney 5 USC require ALJ's have Bar Number Is he even eligible to be a so called Judge? Please check on this settlement On January II, 2013, after lengthy negotiations between the Social Security Administra tion ("SSA"), the Department of Justice, and class counsel for plaintiffs, Gibson Dunn & Crutch- er LLP ("Gibson Dunn") and the Urban Justice Center, the parties reached a proposed settlement agreement. The settlement expressly denies wrongdoing on the part of defendant Commissioner. Under the terms of the settlement, a class member whose claim for disability benefits was denied or partially denied during the period from January I, 2008 through the date on which the settlement agreement is approved is entitled to a readjudication of his or her claim before an ALJ other than a Named ALJ, with certain exceptions. (See Settlement Agreement, D.E. # 112-1, at 2 III.A.l-2.) The class member must affirmatively request readjudication within sixty days after receiving notice of his or her right to the relief. (See id.; Notice A, D.E. # 112-2.)

Unbiased judging? Not even close! By LAW the ALJs are required to be unbiased. The law does not apply to Gary Suttles as has been proven time and again. When I caught him giggling at my hearing I had to look this man up. No wonder he breaks the law - he hasn't even completed his training requirements! The man refuses to watch a 17 minute video regarding equal rights for gays, lesbians, transsexuals, and bisexuals for fear of offending his religious rights. Yes, read that again. He is SUING his employer rather than take 17 minutes to meet mandatory minimum training requirements. Does that really sound too stupid to believe? Look it up! Just type Gary J Suttles and the term LGBT in your search tool and prepare to see your page fill with facts. I hope you have some reading time. Never mind his newsworthiness regarding Mr. McMurray above, he's popular as well. (Thank You for your service, Shawn.) And that's just the evidence that made the news so we'll never know what other training he's lacking in. Did this lack of training effect your case? It did mine! He picked and chose only the evidence in my Doctors' and Neurologists' records to support his agenda, and when there weren't enough facts to support his agenda, he simply made numbers up based on nothing presented to him in my records without acknowledging one single fact out of pages of documents to support my crippling disease. He made claims my daily life was "normal" with "no issues" although every claim he referenced to come up with this conclusion was taken out of context. Every incident he cited required assistance which he managed to leave those details out. Sorry to say it folks, but the system I paid into non-stop for 30 years and many of you even longer is broken. How do the judges get away with this? Simple! The "system" made them untouchable. If the judge can't be held accountable, he/she is supposed to have the freedom to judge without bias. Look it up. It sounds like a good plan, but let the record speak for itself. As I type this 84% of the people sitting through his hearings are "Liars". Many folks want a free ride and I get it. I wasn't lying with paperwork to prove it. Were you?

The only thing a person can do is do a rebuttal on any additions to your case file or change offices. ( called Washington and they suggested a different office -they know the issues) Constant review is required when dealing with SSA. Remember SSA will always ASSUME anything against claimant ( the worst ) Suttles will deny admissions of evidence. Hopefully they give you SSI ( back pay to disability date) plus Medicaid ( Cigna Plus coverage) All I can advise is to check and review case files constantly and check SSA rules (POMS) they are different than what they assume. Get the right form SSA they will not give you any assistance. Required on Internet for public. Do the same ASSUME SSA is lying about everything. You can win!!!

Judge Suttles is allowed to do what he wants. Under current law (joke) the Congress writes statues , Now the first problem the Agency writes the CFR ( by non-elected personnel) working for the Secretary of the Agency by the Agency, to promote and protect the Agency. Now the second problem the Agency writes the Regulations again ( by non-elected personnel) working for the Secretary of the Agency by the Agency, to promote and protect . None reviewed by the Judiciary Committee as required. At present we have 3 stories high Federal Regulations if stacked. 81,036 pages added in 2015. In 2014 per government records there were 175,268 at 212 volumes printed. All you can do is start researching regulations for rebuttal of any changes of files by SSA at Field Office. Everything is re-written by non-elected , poorly trained employees to violate the rights of all US citizens. Right to Jury Trials. All designed since APA was written to circumvent the constitution.

How can Mr. Suttles be an ALJ SSA judge-requires current state bar number (Texas) Mr. Suttles updated his in 2017 this year. How did he get by 5 CFR investigations requirements. All of his cases need to be over turned due to judicial conflicts. ( congress needs to do their job) He is not qualified for anything dealing with law. Worst judge ever.

This so called judge is a disgrace to human beings. My daughter just went through with this sob and his so called report was nothing but lies and false statements. This was my daughters 2 times being denied her disability. I have been supporting her since 2000. She can not work I wonder how many people have committed suicide because of his lies and false report. I wonder how many people he has killed with ssi's help by letting him do this type of review of peoples health when he is not a doctor and knows nothing about peoples disabilities. I know what I am saying about this sob because i was in the hearing with her. I was a administrative police sergeant for years and I have never dealt with this type people with his so called status as a judge and being inhuman. I blame social security for having incompetent people deciding by themselves without regulation with or panel of doctors whether a person is disabled are not. This so called judge is a disgrace to united states law. Social security an the way they do american citizens is a joke. Illegal aliens can come across the border never paying in social security gets social security and $500 to $600 per kid they have and no control how many kids they can have at taxpayer expense. I have paid into social security for fifty years an my daughter is an american citizen and can get nothing. As far as I am concerned he is not a qualified person to do peoples disabilities it should be done by a panel of doctors.

I'm sure he doesn't read these comments, but they are a testament to his judicial temperament and unfair adjudication of claims. An approval rate consistently under 20% is unimaginable, coupled with his documented comments and the many complaints against him. I hate to wish ill on anyone, but I hope that he or someone in his immediate family faces a disabling condition and can't work, and he sees firsthand the bureaucratic process claimants have to endure, and then they end up with an ALJ similar to him and get denied. I don't know how he looks himself in the mirror each morning, but someday he will have to account for his actions as to how he treated "the least of these" in this world. I hope he doesn't call himself a Christian, and blaspheme the name of Jesus by his lack of compassion.

I finally got my disability hearing. I arrived early, but the hearing started about 30minutes late. When we went back to the courtroom, the judge explained that he had some earlier cases that went longer. However, he listened to me and the Social Security doctor for over an hour. So I got my time. Judge Willy was fair. He wanted to hear all the evidence. He told me upfront that he would not be making a decision at the hearing, but would send me a written decision later. He wanted to read all the evidence. At the hearing he asked some pretty hard questions, but he asked the Social Security doctor some very hard questions as well. At the end I thought he wanted to hear everything, and was interested in my case. He was very polite and a gentleman.

At the end I thought he wanted to hear everything, and was interested in my case. He was very polite and a gentleman.

I finally got my disability hearing. I arrived early, but the hearing started about 30minutes late. When we went back to the courtroom, the judge explained that he had some earlier cases that went longer. However, he listened to me and the Social Security doctor for over an hour. So I got my time. I believe that Judge Willy is a honourable and respectable Judge. He seems to be a very patient and fair Judge and that speaks volumes to me. He took the time to actually listen to my case, and I felt like his ear was the one that was meant to hear it. He asked questions of both myself and the Social Security doctors and made a point to understand from both sides. I haven't had a decision on my case yet and he advised that at my hearing, whatever the outcome I think that he was a fair Judge.

Judge Willy is a real judge. He is not a bureaucrat. He has compassion and follows the law. I was not represented by a lawyer, and he explained the law and rules to me. He suggested questions I might want to ask the government doctors. It has been a long wait for disability, and Judge Willy was the first voice that offered me some justice.

My friend had her hearing on 1/28 and it's been over 60 days, still no written decision. She is really trying to be patient - but she said she had no idea it would take so much longer after a hearing to recieve a decision. She said Judge Willy was very inquisitive but seemed to show compassion. Hopefully, she will get a favorable decision and a letter is forthcoming; within the 90 day timeframe.

I felt the Judge was fair and listened to all the medical records and evaluated all the evidence. To anyone going to social security for a disability know the system is failing. It should not be a process of pain and long waits, We still have not gotten a letter of decision even though a great length of time has based. I do not feel it is the Judges fault, but a system failure.

In my opinion he was very professional and interested in the facts at hand. He explained everything to me and with the scenario around my situation I think he is very fair. And I say that because he gave opportunity for me to explain certain things that were misunderstood with my case.

This was a very long and tough process. I kept myself off of the street, but only because I was lucky enough to get housing and SNAP. But once the appeal hearing date arrived, everything started to move very fast. It is so discouraging going through this process, but I'll include dates with my review in case it helps you know things start to move rapidly once you get your day in court. Judge Willy was incredibly polite and respectful. The court's doctor couldn't read the information my doctor had submitted, so they couldn't agree with his diagnosis. Judge Willy could have easily declined my appeal and sent me on my way. Instead, he had my appeal hearing rescheduled (a couple months later) so I could get my doctor to send the court info they could read (I have no idea why Binder and Binder, my rep, never advised me this might be an issue since they actually reviewed my doctor's notes before submitting them to social security). My rescheduled appeal hearing was very easy and quick. The court's doctor said she agreed with my doctor's diagnosis and that was it. I was done in about 10 minutes. My appeal was Aug 22nd and I received the Judge's decision Oct 20th. It was for a concurrent SSI and SSDI claim, and I received a notice from SSI on Oct 22nd and I went to the SSI office on Dillard St Oct 27th. The meeting at SSI took about 30 minutes, including waiting. The waiting room was packed, but most were there for other issues. SSI said I should start receiving monthly payments in November and the 1st back pay withing 30 days. She also checked and saw SSDI was processing my payment, so it shouldn't take much longer. This also means I can start using medicaid benefits and finally go back to my doctor and take better meds. Keep you head up, particularly if you get Judge Willy. He will definitely be fair and treat you with respect. And, most importantly, allow you to present your case and your doctor's notes, to the ALJ directly, instead of simply being passed along (meaning denied each step of the claim process).

I am the mother of an applicant and for almost thirty years I have been supporting my son, as he began displaying mental and emotional problems since he was very young. ERRONEOUSLY, I thought I was doing the right thing in taking on the entire burden and responsibility for his care unto myself. I have literally lost everything because of it, and at this point urge others not to do the same. Our government is one of the only governments who CARES for people with disabilities. Through some misguided sense of patriotism and "Wonder-Woman"Syndrome, I chose not to apply for that help for the longest time. I can't tell you the ways it has hurt both my son and myself and if I had it to do again, I would begin the process early. On the flip side of that, PLEASE if you are NOT disabled and are trying to get a measly allowance from the government, I PLEAD with you to think of those who actually need it, and who are stuck, like we are, in a system which makes it so difficult to receive help due to people who are trying to steal from from an already over-burdened system. It is NOT worth it in the long run. As the bible verse goes: "For what does it profit a man if he should gain the entire world, and lose his own soul?" You have NO idea how much pain, distress, anxiety, and the further burden of proof you are putting on those who REALLY and truly, desperately need the help. In 2013, MHMRA helped us to apply for disability for my son. My son's court date was July 31st of 2017, after which he was sent to an outside doctor and having just spoken to the judge's assistant, I am told the judge wants to hold yet ANOTHER hearing, but that they are booked THROUGH December and that the earliest of hearings would be in JANUARY 2018! THAT IS FIVE YEARS BATTLING THIS. I cannot tell you how very disgusted I am and just how very heart-wrenchingly difficult this has been. I simply cannot stop crying. I am ill now too. I was in the hospital on August 5th and 6th because my body went into shock, I collapsed and had to be given a blood transfusion. My biggest fear is that I am going to die, and leave my son who can't take care of himself, alone, with not a cent and this case still pending. I am about to lose my house and don't know what my son will do afterwards. The thing is, I don't have the money or strength any longer to fight even the good fight. Again, if you are looking for 'free' money, I urge you, ask you, IMPLORE you to think again about people like my son who really need the help and can't seem to get it because of the judges needing to weigh every case before them so stringently that sometimes they make mistakes on the side of too cautious and this means people with REAL, TERRIBLE conditions, are left fighting battles they shouldn't have to fight.

Judge Donald J. Willy is an excellent judge!!! He takes the time to let you talk and tell him about your medical conditions and how they affect you. He is very patient and listens to you. Thank you Judge Willy for being a fair judge.

Let me start off saying this, MOST of you people are not writing the whole truth about this SSI ordeal. This has been the nightmare from absolute ****! my father has been waiting for SSI 3 years now and today as of 8/21/2018 he gets DENIED, Why? Not sure yet we have to wait for the letter to come in the mail. Let me tell you guys the whole story, so October 2015 my father had applied for SSI. He waited 5 months until he was denied, okay cool. So He appeals his case and we’ve waited for 3 whole years with no response AT ALL. We had gotten some letter in the mail around February 2018 saying we had a hearing date, GREAT. The hearing date was in June 2018 MIND YOU my father had a lawyer, all his medical records, he hasn’t worked in over 20 years due to his condition, he’s over 50+ AND he was approved before. but my father ended up going back to jail (this was a few years ago) He had everything they say the average person would need to get SSI. We’re literally in financial ruin! Because of this long drawn out process! You’re better off getting a job, the state does not care. ANYONE waiting for disability or just now getting started GOODLUCK, unless you have a good family you could live off of for awhile. You’ll end up in financial ruin! My dad has went years without an income! Lost his credit and all. Bottom line they want you to work, it doesn’t matter if you have no legs and no arms. They’ll find some work for you to do! Please be mindful yes this man was a fair judge, but he went over his 60+ days just to turn around and deny my father. It’s seriously like a game to these people. I wish everyone nothing but the best of luck, the state and government doesn’t want the poor to have a damn thing. DO NOT GO IN ASSUMING ANYTHING, DO NOT THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU GET A “FAIR JUDGE” IT MEANS YOU’RE APPROVED. Go in with the mindset that this can go either way, again goodluck to everyone that’s going to be battling this SSI demon. Things have changed drastically over the years and you’re going to suffer before you get any form of “free” money.
