Judge Allard is an excellent and very caring judge. I had the pleasure to be assigned to her for my disability hearing. She was very compassionate towards my case. I was represented by a lawyer, but she asked me questions directly, which I answered with the truth and to the best of my ability. Even though I was very nervous, she made me feel comfortable and allowed me the appropriate time to answer her questions. I am very glad I got her and very glad she approved my case as she understood my current situation and for that I’m grateful. Thank you, Judge Allard!

I am very disappointed on this Alvarado Judge, I have many health issues, with a lot of doctor's reports, I have being in pain for the longest, making me unable to get up from bed often due to the severe pain, numbness, and many other serious symptoms, and who does she thinks she is to denied my case, shame on her to make her decisions based on her own judgement, and not on the diagnosis, very dissatisfied with the outcome, good luck if anyone is getting this heartless person as a Judge. I never like woman as Judges. Hope she doesn't keep making this wrong decisions based only on her judgement, she is so wrong!!!

Judge Alvarado is professional, courteous and thorough with a mastery of SS law and regulations to go along with an astute mind, Her questioning is deft and well-calculated to draw out a response from the claimant that will disclose the truth as to the extent of the loss of function caused by the claimant's impairments. I think she is kind and fair, knowledgeable and skilled.

I had 4 hearings with him and he denied ALL 4 claimants, this is statistically impossible. I do not know what his gig is but he will have to learn the hard way about aggressive South Florida lawyers.

There are no words to explain how I feel but I will try, After going before Judge Andres in Ft. Lauderdale 3 Minutes into the hearing, I felt like I was A piece of **** asking for Disability help for a Broken Toe. My family and I are Devastated beyond words or description My Treating Doctors are "Blown Away" that I was denied. Now I know why so many people decide Suicide and kill themselves. If the public could see my evidence,....Well, It's one that would shock the Conscious of the Community..... i.e. Blow peoples minds...

These posts really scare me!!! From what I understand, I have to go before this Judge. I went for a hearing already and a decision was made, but because the Judge retired, the decision is void and I have to go for another hearing. I am in desperate need of help and now after reading these comments, it looks as though I may not have much luck in getting the help I need. Signed, homeless!!

I am appalled at the courtesy afforded to me on my initial visit. I phone in I get told in a very courteous manner waiting for med. rec. which should be in by the 17th call back after that. The next day recv. docs. from the court the first in a very official way. The latter doc. was very unprofesional and illegible. consider this within my 10 days to reply. Thabk You. MJL/0632

Nervious, after almost 3 years to get see him, and two months ago. a law firm starts with "P" miss leaded me to believe I had terminated their empolyement for poor communication skills, and laziness. I rescheared and found a local go gether that knows how to hunt for the paper work. Anyway I feel better going it alone,at this point. Cant even afford anymore time. Really Lost how people can get medical documation, Nobody within 3 counties wont take Medicad share of cost... My duedilgence, he is one of the highest 10% paid Adminstrative Judges, which means he's good and knows his "A" game. I have lost my life twice, Daughter, wife( after 24yrs.) It takes so long to get here, if favorably then another 3months or more before the calvary comes. Guess thats cause people trying to get for broken toes....still cant believe that. the way i look at his stats its a 50/50 chance, top ten in Admin. Judges i wouldve to give him a 10 even if i am diened .... Paper work i found out is 80% your case and 20% is testimony.

Judge Andres had his mind made up on me and I never had a chance. But what bothered me most was the paperwork that came explaining his decision. It was full of inaccuracies and mistakes. During my last hearing his told me to be brief with my answers, he rushed me. Part of my problem is an inability to express myself quickly my concentration is limited. So Judge Andres had me speak quickly but the doctors just took their sweet time answering all the questions and in the process this only confused me further. Don't like this judge but more importantly have no respect for his actions. Shameful. Ask yourself.....If you went to any law school and asked students what law career they hoped to pursue, very few if any, would say they hoped someday to be a judge in a disability court.

Further reading of his decision has left me shocked. Judge Andres interpretation of what took place is a joke. To think he is in such an important position that effects many peoples lives is scary. This is sickening abuse of one mans power. Being turned down is something I could have handled if not for the obvious mishandling of information by this judge. This is a sad bureaucratic system at work.

Once again I had a hearing with Judge Andres on Dec. 10th 2018. When I told the judge about the report he filed on me and that it was filled with mistakes he blew it off saying someone else writes the reports. This time he made mention of the fact that I was in his words 'Articulate' I asked how could that matter? I then asked the Doctor if a person could be both disabled and articulate, the doctor said of course. This Judge James Andres has been unfair to me since day one and he does not listen well. I suffer from heart disease and PTSD. If you have to see this Judge bring a lawyer with you because without one he will only take advantage of you as he did with me. I could go on and on about the way he treated me but I wish other people well and better success if you sit before this man.

I worked for 40 years and paid my government over a million dollars in taxes. I could no longer work due to my disability's and ask for my benefits that I paid for over those 40 years so I could take care of my 80 year old mother, the widow of a Veteran and policeman. We were hungry and needed food, we were thirsty and needed to drink, so we came to Michael Carr and pleaded for help and he said depart from me. Now he and his family will face the same treatment he gave to us, as it is written in God's word: Mathew 25 / 31-46 “Then He will say to those on His left, Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, Then they (Michael Carr and his) also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me. And these (Michael Carr and his) will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” You and yours, please enjoy Hell, and I will be there with the Lord as a testament against you on that day, you cursed a Veteran and Policeman's widow and her children, now the curse is on you and all you care about, Lon Ross, I will be there on your day of judgment before the Lord.

Don't give up, We The People do have the power to make changes to corruption in our government. Many don't know that as a US citizen you have the right to have “ANY” US employee investigated for miss use of power by your Congressman. I am opening a Congressional CASE investigation into how I have been mistreated and discriminated against by the SSDI and Judge Michael Carr, I am also naming Carolyn W. Colvin Social Security Administration “ACTING” Commissioner of SSI for the entire country. All you have to do is look up who your Congressman is and ask for the form to file a Congressional investigation into your case. They are required by law to investigate your case and determine if your were treated unfairly. If we can get enough people to file and name the unfair Judges, we can get them removed from office, as well as the “ACTING” director who is not doing her job by getting rid of the bad apples on her own. In my case, I have a M.D, that has me listed as permanently disabled and my medical records state several conditions that qualify me for my benefits, as well and a PhD that filled out all the required SSDI forms needed to qualify me for my benefits and I am over the 55 year old age requirement for the lowest level of requirements for my benefits, yet Michael Carr took half a year after my hearing to let me know he knows more then the MD's and PhD's about my conditions. He also knew that my only hope for fair treatment would be to appeal to SSDI for a review. Well guess what, ALL appeals are sent back to Michael Carr's office in Falls Church, VA to just be turned down by Judge Carr and his friends in his own office! When this is brought to light by enough of us requesting Congressional investigations into this clearly corruptible practice, We The People can get these unfair Judges and the Carolyn W. Colvin the“ACTING” commissioner of SSI, removed form ever abusing their power at any government job again! I appealed to Her office when I learned of the corrupt policy of sending my case back to Michael Carr's own office just to be turned down and what I got instead of help from her office, was a immediate refusal to even review my case from Michael Carr's own office. ARE YOU WITH ME, it's WE THE PEOPLE TIME!! Please contact your Congressman TODAY! When WE THE PEOPLE start hundreds or thousands of Congressional investigations in to this corrupt system, things will change and quickly! God bless all who will fight, and He will fight for us too. Thanks

Judge Costa was my judge for my 3/19 hearing, walking in I was very nervous, but after a couple of minutes he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I don't know the outcome of my case yet, but I have a good feeling. Judge Costa listened to everything that myself and my lawyer had to say, he never talked down to us or made us feel uncomfortable. If you have the opportunity to get Judge Costa I believe you will get the fairest outcome. Thank you again for hearing my case.. God Bless..

Disregarded all medical records and opinions. So many mistakes. Took 3 years to get in front of someone who had their mind made up from the time you walk in. There is a reason why his denial rate is so high. Telling the truth gets you nowhere, meanwhile addicts and people getting arrested are approved through the mail and that’s a fact.

Horrible! He smiles in your face and then renders a deceptive verdict. Never took in consideration that I was in fact diagnosed with schizophrenia! Totally overlooked that and came up with ever excuse not too pass my disability case! I read the notes. I believe this judge is very bias and should be looked at very closely. I don’t think he has the interstate of the disabled in his heart. With his record maybe he should step down. All cases that were dismissed or denied by this judge should be thoroughly looked at or overturned!

If I can give anyone advice about this whole system now is my time. I suffered from mental illness for as long as I can remember. Not until the last 6 years did it rob my life from me. I finally decided to put my health first and get the help I needed. If I could go back and NOT file for disability I would. Because even though I did all the right things, being truthful is not the way to go. I’ve been in and out of facilities and have met so many people that lie and get approved. So many people that were arrested, relapsing, throwing themselves into places and faking an illness just to keep getting their benefits. I personally have a family member that was arrested multiple times in one year and she got approved in the mail. Yet what did I do? Not lie, focused on getting nonstop help to better myself as a mom but still struggled immensely. Years I waited to go in front of this judge for him to say because I had a dog and drove my kid to school that I am fine. That because I take her to her sports-all the years not working and getting help meant nothing. Mind you I am a single mom with 0 help-it’s me all the time 7 days a week. I put myself into massive debt, lost everyone in my life because of this process and one miserable man that doesn’t even know you gets to play GOD. Disregarding tons of medical records, didn’t go over medications and focused on one or two things that were going on. Talk about Stigma. The report was straight up IGNORANT saying things like I go on vacation...get dressed, take a shower. My daughter is a teen and I haven’t been able to go on vacation since she was 2!!!!! I’m so sorry I shower and I’m not laying in bed in a straight jacket. Don’t even appeal it, because that’s another waste of almost a year for them LAZY ***** over at that office to not care also. The stigma is real people, you have to lie!!!! Go do what everyone else I have met does. Start seeing a Dr. for arthritis or a physical disability that anyone can have because severe mental illness is not enough and that’s a **** shame especially since it’s so at large now. Judge Costa shame on you but hey if I had your career I would be an old miserable, uneducated person like you also. Meanwhile I was in a room with women with their expensive clothes and nails skipping off an elevator with a walker. Like I said do not do what I did going into this whole process. I lost 5 years of my life. Lie, lie, lie just like every person that’s playing God over there!

Judge Costa is very unfair. He is not well educated in any facet of my disabling medical condition. It is a condition that has no cure yet he deemed me as not being disabled enough from the condition. I had been diagnosed with this disabling condition by several experts in the field yet Judge Costa believed he knew more about my condition than medical doctors. It is now several years later and I am still disabled and unable to work or leave my bed due to my illness. Prior to becoming disabled, I had worked for 18 years and had paid into disability. It is not like I was trying to mooch off the system. I had paid into disability for close to two decades. I find Judge Costa to be a despicable man. He said I was trying to be a stay at home mother and was not as sick as I had stated I was. Would he say this to any man/father who was applying for disability? I think not. I will be reporting Judge Costa for this. I have it in writing that he said this. I have a bachelors degree and a masters degree. I have worked sine I was in high school. I have never been a slacker in my entire life. I graduated in the top 5% of my high school class (out of a class of 690 students) and graduated from colllege Summa Cum Laude. I am a high achiever who would rather work than be on disability. I can earn more working than on disability so why would I ever choose to fake being disabled? My life has been ruined by my illness yet Judge Costa refused to believe my medical doctors. If it weren't for my retired parents giving me money, I would be bankrupt. Judge Costa sickens me. He should be disbarred.

My decision letter was full of errors in timeline and stated that something I never complained about but was seen on an imaging report was the source of one of my conditions when in fact it has nothing to do with it. Please have enough respect for the claimant that if you are going to deny their benifits the report you are filing is correct and not adding insult to injury. #anothergovagencyhard@work

This judge made a terrible mistake in judging me incorrectly. She had numerous errors throughout the lengthy denial letter I received, regarding her supposed review of my medical records. She claimed I didn't have proof of several diagnosis' in my records when there was clear cut proof in these records. My third party who was supposed to testify at my hearing was not allowed to do so, and She made allegations in her letter about me that are downright descriminatory and false. She didn't ask me about several things during the hearing but then made statements in her letter accusing me of things she never gave me a chance to confirm or deny. She claims I am still able to work despite the fact I have become so ill that I can't keep up with my own personal hygiene let alone work. I haven't even been able to keep most of my appointments with several of my specialists because I have been too sick to drive myself to them. I have several diagnosis' on the adult list of disabling conditions, and I hope she sees this and knows that she was cruel and wrong about me, and my life has been completely destroyed because of her. I will most likely have to live on the street soon because she denied me benefits I have desperately needed. God help you if you have to have this judge in charge of your hearing. She is irresponsible and descriminatory and shouldn't be allowed to judge with her own personal opinions on a person. She is mean and will destroy your character if she doesn't like the look of you. That is what happened to me. She will destroy your life if she doesn't like you. This judge ruined my life that was already in the toilet from years of suffering from a rare illness.

I understand that this could be taken as "this person got turned down and is upset". I am indeed upset, but it is because I was turned down for completely false reasons. So beware of this Judge. She will use anything she can against you. I thought my rep and I had everything in order. My T's crossed and I's dotted. I was wrong! This judge acted as if my PCP's RFC paperwork didn't exist because one minor thing was not in my medical history. My PCP supports the fact that I am disabled. I also have two other doctors that stated I had MDI's that met the SSA guidelines for disability. She uses things in your medical report that are autofill parts from specialists. Like my wrist Ortho's ROS form that I now know he doesn't fill out except for the reason HE is seeing you. That being my wrist. So he didn't fill out that I have fibromyalgia, severe headaches, back pain, weakness, etc. And that was used against me in the decision letter. Even though it was never asked about at the hearing. This judge seems to discriminate based on your age and medical condition(Still a lot of judges that refuse to see the conditions I have as real). Even though my MDI's are listed in the SSA guidelines she chose to not consider them. There are so many errors in her decision letter that my rep said it will take a while to list them all. So I guess that's a good thing. Problem is that I have been trying to get the disability I deserve for 4 1/2 years now. My family and I are financially ruined. The appeals council will take 14-18 more months per my rep and then if Federal suit is needed, another year or more. My family will be on the streets by then. The SSA system drains everything you have worked hard for in your life and drags the process out over way too many years. Just to be turned down by someone who doesn't follow guidelines and makes wild assumptions with no facts.

I am the single case approved by the Albuquerque Odar ALJ. Mariam C Fernandez Rice in the year of our Lord 2017. The processing office is forcing me to appeal the decision without my consent. In processing the protected application date of the approved title 16 before the approved title 2 is being denied by the processing office. And forcing me to blame the ALJ as being in error. When P.O.M.S. D.I.27515.020 new title 2 D.I.B. claim- title16 disability previously established. Clearly refers the processing office as the responsible entity in favoring the claimant in detail. Please review.

This judge made a horrible mistake in judging my case she just keeped going on about my tattoos and I was just thinking to myself we are not here to talk about tattoos I thought were here to talk about a disability and the reasons why I can’t work but she was really just hung up about the tattoo situation again I was thinking to my self yes lady I know I got tattoos get over it already she was also judgmental on my Personal appearance my age ect so all in all I took her Decision to federal court and was in my favor for an appeal 18 months later here I go again back to court again all over her Mistake she made and For wasting my time at the end of the day she didn’t do her job right if you get this judge for your case be careful on your appearance and also be very careful on what you say she is very Judgmental and well deny your case for any little reason she feels like in my Experience is the worst judge to have.

The Judge is an idiot, in my opinion. She stated, in the decision for my daughter, who can barely get around, that she felt her suited for a hotel housekeeper. Obviously, the woman has lost sense of reality. Why the government employs such a sad excuse for humanity is unknown.

This judge doesn't even need to really read a case file, all she has to do is to read another judge's opinion who denied a claim, copy their report as their own, and even usurp the opinion of the US District court when they remand the case back down to the original court. I wonder what the job description is anyway...

I had my hearing with Judge Krappa already and I must say she was wonderful. Easy to talk to, gave ample time, no rushing, she was very understanding to my situation as a person. She made my experience in the hearing a lot more less stressful than I had been anticipating. She even understood when I had to stand for a few minutes. Still waiting and praying. Judge Krappa is an asset to the ODAR. She treated me with compassion and most of all respect. In a process such as this we need really need that.

I had a hearing Jan 2014 and another July 2014. Still no decision. I called and someone said my case was "in writing." How are people supposed to survive let alone get decent medical care when they cannot work and cannot get help? Judge Krapper seemed professional and fair but if it wasn't for family, my daughter and I would be homeless. Now I am just hopeless. Do the judges even see this website? I wonder if Judge Krapper has been ill or something? I wonder if a decision is delayed just to build up more retroactive money so my lawyer gets paid more. I'd rate Judge Krapper 5 stars if I had gotten a timely decision.

I have appeared before this judge several times representing clients. He is fair, he is prepared, and he understands the law regarding disability claims. If you don't have good medical evidence (as noted by the other commenter on this page), what are you doing at a hearing? SSA can reverse any favorable decision that isn't based on medical records. Why would Judge Labrum waste time approving your claim based on your own personal account, without supporting medical evidence, when it's only going to be reversed when SSA appeals?

Judge Lee decided that the pain I have did not agree with his opinion. He also took the opinion of the SS medical staff ( even though they never examined me ) over my physicians I’ve had for the last 7 years that have documented for injury including my surgeon ( multi level back fusion). The financial ruin this cost can’t be described, the breakup of my marriage, and I’m still in too much pain to work. Documented depression not even considered in the final decision. In talking to others, judges know exactly what language to put in their decision to deny claims...people’s live hang in the balance of their decision, I’m living proof.

I desperately need to contact Judge Lissek. She was the judge on my appeal in March of 2017. I was awarded permanent disability. My decision letter arrived after i already got a call from sussex cty disability office in Newton. I got an appt in june to file a claim for my child. I have had nothing but discriminatory issues with the Newton office. My atty passed away in july of 2017. They mocked me insisting i was lying. Mrs. White told me i changed my direct deposit info incorrectly and now would need a cancelled ck which i did it online as directed in may when i was called to make the appt. she berated to the point of tears for 2 hours then laughs and says “oh you did it right but it takes 2 months to hit the system haha sorry” I asked about the over $14,000 withheld for my atty and she said that i neededan “expedited fee agreement” which had been on file for 2 yrs. she said she put in a request to release the funds minus the $6000 the atty agreed to. I NEVER GOT IT. Then i got my daughters backpay in July of 2017 and they withheld 20% for her ATTY FEES! Well she had no atty by this time my own had passed away which again i was treated like a liar. The “supervisor” gets on the phone and asks “WAS YOUR DAUGHTER BORN WHEN YOU HIRED YOUR ATTY? WAS SHE WAS SHE?” I was having an anxiety attack and crying and said of course “WELL THEN SWEETY HE AUTOMATICALLY GETS 20% OF HER MONEY” First off i am not uneducated which i think they believe ALL people on disability deserve to be treated like crap and like they don’t have a clue. I have done my research the cap is $6000 unless the atty applies for more due to doing over and above the usual work entailed. Now i call them and they tell me THE JUDGE ORDERED the attorney to be paid 20% of mine snd my daughters making that OVER $20,000! I read my decision letter by Judge Lissek and it specifically stated 20% is withheld UNLESS there is an expedited fee agreement. If one is not received withing 60 DAYS the money withheld will be released MINUS THE $6000 cap! I truly do not know where to turn, i appealed it and heard nothing yet have a confirmation that I appealed online. I even took the advice of DISABILITY ADVISOR and called my congressman and they had me sign a letter to give their office permission to assist on my behalf. Stress makes all my illnesses worse and now we are about to foreclose on the house we bought that we cannot move into due to work needing to be done and our realtor, atty, mortgage company, appraiser, 203k consultant and contractor who all know each other well and referred one another have us over a barrel I’m desperate and getting very ill. I cannot lose this home its all i have and 3 yrs backpay should not just be stolen from me by crooked home buying so called expert scam artists

I was & still disabled. I was before Judge Lissek. I received my fully favorable letter, declared back pay for Sept.12, 2012. Have not received anything. I think the dare b4 the Judge was July 2016. I have not received any checks for my backpay my Disability. I am unable to work. What is going on told I have to wait. I have been to 2 lawyers with my letters from disability fully favorable by ALJ. they tell me there is nothing for them to do I'll have to wait. 1lawyer said he'd not charge me he's never heard of a fully favorable case being denied so I have to wait.

I was lucky to have my hearing with the pleasant Judge Merrill. of course everyone is a bundle of nerves at this life altering event and it's nice to have someone who excels at their job.

Completely disregards the concept that the hearing is the claimant's opportunity for a fair and impartial hearing. Selects certain non-favorable evidence to base his decision on and disregards the remaining record. Attempts to embarrass reps and claimants. Should be reported to chief ALJ.

The social security and job compensation Judge's don't treat Black people fair. After waiting for two years to be seen, I was told that if I didn't sign a piece of paper saying I'm waiving my SSD benefits, if not I'll have to wait for another court date. He basically threatened me, knowing that I person who have a waited over two years and now if I say I don't want it, I can received my award soon. But when my white friends applied, they got SSI and SSD, if you look my race, how each person was awarded, YOU WILL FIND DISCREPANCY AND UNFAIRNESS!

I had my hearing on 12/10/14 with Judge Olarsh. Within minutes he made me less anxious and had no issues with me standing at times. He's a true professional who asks all pertinent questions about your claim record and gets straight to the point. I Know how important it is to be truthful and credible in your responses and I was. I knew in my heart that Judge Olarsh would make a fair decision and he did! Fully Favorable on 1/9/15!!!! Waited since 2011 and couldn't be more grateful! Thank you!

My hearing with Honorable Judge Leonard was held April 20th. As a younger 32y/o gay male with mental illness, I was anticipating on being looked down on by a male judge. However, Judge Leonard was extremely fair and compassionate with me. Speaking out on sensitive and embarrassing topics was tough but he would tell me take a minute and not apologize for crying spells. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for my fully favorable decision and kind deameor.

Judge penn was pleasant during the hearing but I do not think her ruling was just particularly for my case, the condition I have will stay with me for the rest of my life so I don't understand how I could be considered disabled only for a year of my life even with all my medical evidence plus you could just look up crohn's disease you'll understand stand why I think my ruling was wrong

I had judge penn recently and she was pleaseant during the hearing but denied my claim a 1week after my hearing...a little too quick considering its supposed to take at least a month or two for decisions.. im definitely appealing...because there were significant impairments and evidence to support it ...but she denied it...we spend most of our lives just trying to get approved...and it puts us in stress mode because we are fighting for our life at this point...they dont understand that they dont walk in our shoes or live in our bodies....

This judge did in fact say clearly I am disabled in January 2014 but now its April of 2014 and I still have heard nothing about my case. I am getting worse in my conditions and now I am getting anxiety attacks from not being able to purchase basic everyday items. When I went in front of this judge he asked what he needed yo and kept switching around and said we will come back to that question and didn't. I really think I was forgotten about. All judges should have two weeks maximum to make a decision. If not be penalized for not doing so. Also when calling to get answers the lady who answers the phone don't even know the panel is!

Everyone is nervous at the time of their hearing. Having Generalized Anxiety Disorder makes it that much worse. I feel the Judge took the time to listen to my Medical Conditions. It was much appreciated.

Judge Rodriguez seemed very fair. I haven't received my letter so I can't say anything about approval or denial but he definitely was thorough and clear and made me less nervous. My hearing was Dec. 13, 2017 and it is now only February so I should know the outcome in a month or so but either way I am glad I had him and how he treated me making my experience as pleasant as possible. I was very very nervous and he didn't judge and answered any questions I had not making me feel inferior. I was supposed to have Judge Weakley but got switched to Judge Rodriguez and from what I'm reading I am very grateful for that. He really was understanding and seemed fair.

Judge Richard West was incredible. He understood the problems I have and the disability it was causing me. He listened, understood, and was extremely knowledgeable about my situation. This means he read my files and understood what was going on with me before I walked into his room. The SSA is lucky to have him on the bench!

Judge April M. Wexler is a Judge who is definitely not aware of the fact that many people who are applying for disability are actual people who have serious pre existing and continued long term medical issues and medical problems. I believe she looks at the actual person instead of the combined medical evidence, which includes narratives MRI's, and x-rays provided by the Medical Doctors. Furthermore I believe that Judge Wexler is biased with many of her rulings and decisions. In my case her words to me directly were " If you can drive then you are not DISABLE period regardless of your medical conditions"

I sincerely feel bad for the other reviewer and hope that he/she has been approved or better yet, healed, I had a different experience. I am a 38 year old male with MRI's that show bad arthritis in multiple places, tile table was positive for severe orthostatic hypotension. BUT, the rest of my illness is an "invisible illness". I did not exaggerate anything, if anything I under-played my illness (stupid pride). Judge Wexler listened to everything I had to say and appeared attentive to my complex issues. I'm not yet sure if she ruled fully or partially favorable, I just received notice from my local SSA, not yet from ODAR. No matter what her decision, I believe she ruled fairly in my case at least. Now, I need to work on getting more tests and trying to find treatment that works so I can get OFF disability! I take off a star on the assumption that the previous commenter was indeed denied based SOLELY on ability to drive.

I'm a 42 which had me worried to begin with. I was quit pleased with Judge Wexler. She listen to what I had to say and treated me fairly. That's all that I ask. I believe she will make a fair ruling based on all the evidence.

I don't think that when a judge has Doctors note stating that some one can not work and they still think they have the right to play DR. or GOD with some ones life when they say NO. When people just can not keep paying med bills an and for their meds. I thought that when you work for 30 plus years and you need help I thought we pay it forward when we pay ss out of our pay checks. I guess I was wronge.Do judges really think that when some one gives up their job because they cann't do it any more and stop working for 4 years because they are so sick, I guess the judges just cann't see that.

Judge Zamboni is very fair and reasonable. I'm glad I had him on my case. He saw the truth and was very thorough. He isn't just going to give you a favorable decision, but will grant it if you are truly disabled. You shouldn't be in front of him unless you truly are though, as there are too many people who really need SSA and we can't have anybody holding up the process which is already long. Best advice I can give is to just go into the hearing and present your honest case. He will see it all for himself. Don't go in there trying to put on a front because he isn't dumb and I'm sure will see right through it.

I have been on disability since 2009. It ended in 2010(-11). I was told I could reapply which I did. I requested a hearing before the Judge but was unable to attend in person. My disability was stopped again in 2013. I applied and asked for a reconsideration and to keep my benefits while waiting for a new hearing which was granted. My benefits were stopped again in April of 2016. I was told I could reapply, but also told that if I did, the information in the old file could be used with my new case. This went on for well over a year. I know how I feel and because people can not see my multiple illnesses, it is not real to them. The 2nd partial hearing I had with Judge Zamboni earlier this year had to be stopped so I could get legal representation. I contacted several lawyers none of which would take my case, because of this a continuation of benefits case, and not an initial filing. I received a letter from my attorney stating he was withdrawing as my lawyer. Now I am back to square one. My anxiety and panic attacks are real. The depression is real my all over body pain on a daily basis is real my CHF is real. I said all that to say this, it's not Judge Zamboni's fault that I have chronic illnesses, however with the number of medications makes doing other tasks difficult. I have a teleconference with the Judge on February 8, 2018, to decide my case. He has always been respectful to me and courteous. No matter the outcome, I have to respect his decision.
