I don't have anything nice to say about judge Bright. She hears what she, wants to hear. Then twist your words around very disappointed by the way she came up with her decision just plain ignorant.

I went before Judge Maryann Bright and although the process caused me a lot of anxiety she had a calming presence. She was professional and pleasant. I forgot to express how my medication made me feel but other than that she allowed me to explain my illnesses and how it’s affected my life. I don’t know the outcome yet because it’s only been a couple of weeks but she was definitely fair.

If you have a rare disease process or a medical set of symptoms that took the medical community a lllloooonnnggg time to diagnose..THIS IS YOUR JUDGE. He loves those odd ball medical cases. He is a great ALJ when you need a little extra time to explain your theory of Allowance. My second favorite ALJ in Norfolk; I wish he were hearing more cases. Appreciates a well written brief.

I am truly impressed by Judge Cutter. I had a stress disability and he went out of his way to make me relaxed and comfortable. When the vocational expert gave his input, Judge Cutter asked great questions in order to accurately describe my disability. His highly verbal communication skills were an asset to the hearing. Legally, he was very fair and precise and explained himself well. He made his decision and sent me all the information in 8 days! He really must of worked hard to make me less stressed. Thank you Judge Cutter, you are truly one of the great ones in your profession. More people should evaluate you.

Judge Patrick Cutter is a wonderful judge. He is truly one of the best LAJ. in the county. He was very fair in the way he handled my case he took it step by step explaining the procedure before we ever got started. He took control of the entire hearing asking all questions that were important and concerning my case. If he didn't get the proper answer he wanted to hear, he rephrased it much easier for me to understand. He also allowed me time to explain my total conditions without interruptions. He also understood my entire situation and conditions and handle them in a very Professional matter. The hearing was lengthy but it needed to be in order to produce a fair verdict. He asks a lot about your conditions in order to be fair. Despite what other people may think of Judge Cutter. He handle the case the in the most Professiional way a judge could handle a case. I personally want to thank judge cutter, for hearing my case and giving me the proper and most fair hearing a client could receive. I Took the time to evaluate Judge Cutter because he deserves the credit for all the hard work he puts into each and every case he hears. If you are truthful with the Judge he is true to you.

I've suffered from anxiety, panic disorder, depression and OCD for 22 years. Even with all of the medical evidence from my psychiatrist and 6 different psychologists/therapists I felt that I would lose my SSD case because I have the "invisible illness". I didn't expect to win but I was pleasantly surprised that Judge Cutter ruled in my favor. My case was very complex and I even had to fire my lawyer, but Judge Cutter looked solely at the medical evidence and made the correct decision. I'd like to thank him for helping me to get the help that I've needed for a very long time. Without his ruling I would have been in a terrible financial and mental state. At least I can fully concentrate on getting my mental health to where it should be for the sake of my wife and family. My life will never be as it was prior to 1993, but thanks to Judge Cutter I can focus on the future. Again, I thank him for ruling in my favor. He was very fair, helpful and professional. I'll do my very best to put my life back together. Best wishes to Judge Cutter.

I have Bren fighting for my disability for over three years. Finally had my hearing on 12/13 and seem it went well until at the end, the judge said he would have to review my records and send me a letter. The vocational expert stared there were no jobs available for the criteria my attorney stated

The judge was texting while i stated my disability to him, i just wrote Washington DC and FTC about him, I didn't get a fair hearing at all even though i'm disabling sick with diabetes neuropathy, degenerative joint disc and degenerative joint disease, asthma, and a list of other documented disabling issues. The vocational expert claimed i can stand at a cash register and press buttons all day with numb painful hands and feet, This deserve special attention from the commander and chief. I will write everyday until i get answers.

I have been fighting for my disability for going on 5 years now. When I had a hearing this judge was on circuit closed tv network. Several times during my testimony I caught him looking away and was distracted by something around him there, not really listening to what I was testifying too. He denied my claim yet again and I'm appealing that as well. IMHO, he needs to vacate his position because he's not listening to the claimant, nor reading the doctor statements. In fact this judge very bluntly put it in black and white that my doctor didn't have the correct ability to make such statements about my health and neurological status. I have a spinal cord implant that cost my insurance over $400,000.00 with out this unit I'm paralyzed from mid chest down, even with the unit I still fall from the loss of use of my legs. Since the replacement of this unit over a year ago I now can no longer hold things in my hands, my hands shake all the time now, I have great difficulty in writing anymore. I wonder how he'd feel not being able to know you have to go to the bathroom? or being able to do for yourself? Live in pain 24/7? I feel he needs to step off the bench.

This man lied about my vocational expert testimony. He should pay attention or document notes while he is in court with the individual. He also needs to lay attention to his residual function capacity sheets. This man is the worst judge and after reading all these peoples responses....it appears he is only declining the spine issues cases. Gee... I wonder why????

Too inexperienced for complex theory cases....whoosh...over him but good potential.Does not appear to be listening... Too interested in filling out his forms during testimony. He is improving but I wilt when I find he is the ALJ when there are ANY issues that are not covered by the usual boilerplate type case cites. :-/

Does not review medical records or he does not UNDERSTAND the information in the Record; does not read Briefs; rude to non-attorney representatives; condescending, unwarranted arrogance, seems poorly educated generally. Will soon be defending a BIAS assertion under Hallex 1-3-125 for "off the Record comments and facial expressions".....stay tuned

Dear Judge JJ, Been trying to find the Judge that heard my case first time. The comments I heard fit to you as close as the way I was treated in the over the "air" hearing where you denied all the pertinent evidence from the hospital that was able to do the work needed to keep me alive. I only came back east because I am unable to function for even a small amount of time outside "my shell" After incidents back east I was clearly determined to be as screwed up as the doctors in New Mexico determined... thing is, you even agreed that the diagnosis was valid, but since you did not understand the situation... I DID NOT was considered a crippled being. I was proud of everything I accomplished, and accomplishments I hoped to complete. Now, I can just barely get around and am driving a 10 year old car with little hope of improving my existence. I hope when you finally come up for your personal judgement that you understand you are only going to be judged as you have judged others. OH... BTW... I am not certain you are the Judge Jordan that heard my case. but the thing I read sounded so much like what I experienced, and even though what happened did not occur in this state, I cannot accept any evidence you might produce where the incident occurred, It wouldn't be valid in this state, Besides, I believe you were faking it. I am tired and I still hopee

I can't in my right mind even call this guy a judge. It was obvious that he did not read all the facts of my disabilities. I had M.R.I.'s to prove my neck and back disc degeneration. Also my doctors form stating i have bipolar disorder and i take 300 mg of seroquel. This medicine causes me to have a zombie like effect when i am awake. It also causes me to sleep from 12 to 16 hours. How am i supposed to go to work when i can barly get out of bed. I also have had problems with arrhythmia and sleep apnea. I'm probably living on borrowed time but this judge did'nt give a crap. I used and attorney and was told they would'nt have taken my case if they could'nt win it. This judge should be fired because he abused his discretion and position.

Would love to find a site on the individuals that Judge Jordan approved. Might be interesting.

He is very polite. I wish that he could render a decision from the bench. This long wait is very agonizing and throws me into a panic. This waiting period is not good for those who suffer from mental illness. We already have to work the nerve up to come I to court than to wait no that before a decision I no good. Please just try to work on making a decision from the bench(which is what is suppose to happen in the front place). Thanks for reading

This man had no reason to deny me. I had medical records and proof of my disability. He stated at my hearing that my before and after x-rays were frightening. But said in his disposition that if I can talk on the phone, I can work. This man is clearly predujuce. He needs to be removed. If your black and you scraped your knee. Your in luck, because this fool will hand over SSI, but be white and paralized...you ain't getting squat!

I want to say thank you for Myler disability team and to Judge Jordan. My life was impacted by my accident in 2016 where I lost my job and the ability to pay my Bill's and take care of myself. The judge was compassionate and very understanding. I walk with a cane and sometimes with a walker due to my severe chronic back pain and mental health has declined a lot. My disability was approve before the hearing was over. Thank you so much....

This man should be removed as a judge. My claim was denied. All these mental health people recommended me to file for benefits. Ive paid into the system for 25 plus years. He makes over $170,000 a year, yet he denied me a $700 plus per month benefit! Not impressed with him. Fuck Jeffrey M. Jordan and his overpaid ass. Probably got his job through affirmative action! Fuck you Judge Jordan. I would really like it if you dropped dead !!!!!!!.Consensus seems to be you might be prejudiced you piece of shit! Jason Ellington says FUCK YOU loud and clear. All my issues and health problems and you denied me. Youll get whats coming to you one day and i hope it really really really hurts. Fuck off you incompetent,non-understanding ,unsympathetic ,overpaid ,unqualified, biased piece of shit. You will get yours, trust me. Unapologetically, Jason Ellington.

I like her and I think she is doing her job very well. My son had a hearing with Judge Nunez on September 18th 2015. More evidence is being submitted and then we will wait for the verdict. I pray everything will work out but if it doesn't I know that everything was fair.

I found Judge Nunez to be both fair and professional. Her questions were comprehensive and clearly reflected familiarity with my case. She listened carefully to me, as well as, my attorney and the job expert and treated us all with respect. This was an unexpected, positive experience for me and I am grateful Judge Nunez heard my case.

My mom had her hearing on June 28th. She has all new records and she requested a supplemental hearing in which we got a date for November. We faxed in the documentation that states we will appear. My mom's PCP and her neurologist wrote very detailed statements. My moms condition has declined and she meets the social security blue book official guidelines and the criteria for those guidelines. I am very confused we got a letter today that was sent to Joe Pitts pa state Rep n all it says is unfavorable decision and my mom has not even had her supplemental hearing yet. I'm calling the adjudicators office on Monday my mom has cognitive impairment she cannot remember things it's written in stone plus records going back to 2013 for very severe mental health and ongoing treatment plus cops and degenerative disc disease scoliosis spondylosis I have no idea what is going on it makes absolutely no sense

Judge Pianin is a good listener and was quite polite and kept me focused when answering his questions. I felt he was very courteous and respectful. Still waiting for a decision, however, either way, he made a stressful morning, less stressful with his calm manner and non-abrasive tone.

I rate him a 10 :) Mr./Judge Quigley is a very kind, well spoken and highly educated man. I know I had to have shown my complete nervousness but, after speaking and listening to him talk with kindness ,I felt relief. He was truly a great Judge even though I was denied and my case is almost at the three year point (from the first date I applied) which has deeply effected my overall health... I totally understand and more importantly respect his professional opinion and decision, I can only hope to have him review my very complex SSD case records. He is a patient man and I pray that Mr.Judge Quigly and the good Lord will render the right decision any day now, for this has been a very trying, exhausting, long and difficult journey for myself as well as my family. God Bless and best wishes..

My most respected ALJ; when he Denies a case I usually agree with him!!!and if I do not, he will graciously hear your written expression of disagreement and ACTUALLY will Hear more evidence on those issues. Has Revised his Decisions with evidence to specific issues. Have NEVER had an Appeals Council Reversal or Remand. Be certain to write a well documented Brief.Such a courteous and Procedurally correct ALJ. Does NOT suffer fools lightly. If you only prepare for a case by reading the case file while waiting for the Hearing on hearing day, your Decision will reflect that preparation..GUARANTEED!

I wholeheartedly concur with the comments made above- particularly re not suffering fools lightly. Bill Vest was a superb Navy trial judge who had the courage of his convictions. This character trait has carried over to his work as an SSA ALJ over the past two decades. A well-prepared summary of evidence/case brief is critical. he does actually read amendments to your brief and can think "on the the fly" quite well. You will be hard-pressed to find a better ALJ in this area of the country.
