As very disappointed with Judges ruling. She gave no weight to my testimony or those who care for me, and gave no weight to my treating physician of 10 years report of disability. The only medical review given weight was one doctor that gave her reason to deny. She also did not review the medical file very well as she said I had no medications when the medical file clearly shows that I was on medications. With cervical and lumbar fusions and memory and cognitive issues from a brain hemmorage she feels I have enough residual capacity. The scenario she gave the employment officer did not take the full disabilities into consideration either. Seems like her low approval rate might reflect a new judge on a bench looking to make her reputation at the expense of claimants. Hope other claimants get other judges because this one is not going to consider all of your evidence. Guaranteed appeal filing for this decision and this judge is an example of what is wrong with the SSDI system. I've worked with judges and Lawyers for 30 years. This one is not a good one.

I found Judge Cutter to be very kind and reasonable. She is extremely thorough with her questioning, but that is her job. She is a professional, and will treat you as such. She seemed interested in my case and was knowledgeable about it. Show up prepared to answer questions and be honest. After two years of being treated rather poorly by representatives who didn’t seem to care about the process, it was refreshing to sit in front of an educated Judge who took a very technical approach, looked at doctors recommendations, listened to testimony, and made a decision based on medical fact.

Looks like Judge Cutter's approval ratings have come up significantly in the last couple of years. Unfortunately she was assigned to my case when she was new and trying to make a name for herself. Reading her decision, it was obvious she was looking for reasons to deny the claim. She also didn't give any weight to my treating doctor or evaluation exams at the VA. Very unhappy with the way she handled the case.

When I walked into the hearing room I was extremely overwhelmed, scared, panicked, what one my call a total wreck. Judge Cutter told me things would get easier once we started and pointed out both exits to the hearing room. She told me that I am not trapped and if I needed a break I could ask. The judge was professional, direct in her questioning and spoke with a soft tone. At the end of my hearing judge Cutter said something along the lines of "I hope you get better or I wish you the best". I cannot recall exactly what she said but I do remember immediately feeling like she meant every ounce of it.

Ok where do I begin about this so called judge John Edwards. In May of this year I finally after in a half years got to have my social security disability hearing. Fisrt when I proceeded with my sworn testimony the judge snapped at me about my attempted suicide and was so rude and unprofessional I could'nt believe what I was hearing He said he did'nt believe that some could take 44 vicodin and live, he would not listen when I told him that I threw them up in a 24 hour period. The work advisor made sure I would be distacted also by his constent yawning and moaning and groaning throughout my hearing. So after the hearing my lawyer told me the judge would not vote in my favor. and I would have to reaply for my social security disability claim. So I had to call someone in the state to put a complaint in about this judge and found out some interesting news. Accourding to my source they have seen the transcript and the judge had some pretty horrible stuff about me in there. He does'nt even know me.

Judge Edwards dismissed my case for my SSD without a Hearing, "Request for Hearing Denied". He explained DDS found my onset date to be later than my last insured date. Therefore, no hearing is needed. (?????????????????????????)

Your honor FLETCHER was very polite, and soft spoken and very concerned with my well being as a person first. He was very professional with all the medical records and even the problems I was having at work before I stopped going completely due to factors with my disability. Your honor FLETCHER is genuine and was able to make this whole process feel like there was purpose when most are about to give up entirely. I am at rest finally after 3 years meeting JUDGE GUY E. FLETCHER for my time to prove I am disabled. Was an honor and thank you if you ever read this for you to take my case and review me. I climbed the walls to be honest this whole time waiting ( with HOPE ) that someone would see the daily struggles I have endured. Im waiting on my case to finalize and awaiting your answer at the moment...( 9/23/19/12:28 ) to be exact your honor is the date and time im commenting on this page. Thank you and bless you for being so caring at my hearing with me and my lawyer. I wish you many blessings for you took my case as dire need as well. My father has stage 4 cancer and I just found out my grandmother has lung cancer as of 5 days ago. I also recently lost my grandfather to cancer no more then 3 years ago during all of this. I have to say it was nice to finally speak on my own behalf and for you cause to be honest a name on paper tells nothing about the person. To all that is reading speak up and be honest please with this judge. Keep your head up people reading. Your time is coming to be herd, and I have to say the wait was worth it. Thank you again your HONOR ( Guy E. Fletcher ) and many blessing to you and your family...-john

I do not care for Kim K. Griswald, as she does not care for me. Yes, I have used substances throughout the years, probably because of my condition. My only hope to make it in this world was social security income, and now that's shattered. She grilled me on my marijuana use, and honestly that stuff HELPS me, and I know this, because I'm me. It's 2013, and I just got my decision of unfavorable. Thanks Kim

She is intelligent, very direct, and thorough. I have zero doubt that she can sniff out the fakes. But if you truly have a disability that is severely impacting your ability to work, you'll be met with respect. I would be more focused on having an honest and capable attorney than worrying about what Judge is going to be hearing the case.

Stay away from this fraudulent judge. Former workers comp defense attorney, she will lie and misconstrue evidence to make sure you are not approved. Your odds are close to 0 with her. She forms a bias against you before you walk into your hearing. She will not care if you have 10 or all of the world’s leading experts treating you. She feels nothing for a person’s suffering. I have not received my judgement yet, but regardless of whatever decision is made, it will not alter my feelings about the hearing. Judge Helm was very nice to me as I was in a severe amount of pain that day. She took her time asking questions and gave me a lot of time to answer each question fully and to elaborate on them. I in no way felt she rushed me, nor was she dismissive. I have a very complex case and Judge Helm made sure that I was questioned every way from Sunday, and all bases were covered.

This judge is very firm, even a bit unfair by normal standards. But as she is a federal judge using a very complex set of standards, she does give complicated cases due diligence, even if she doesn't give every inch that should be, she can be reasonable.

Judge Helm is a digrace to her profession. In my case, she made up her own alternate facts, lied about the facts and refused to acknowledge any of the doctors that examined me. She could not find a doctor for the hearing that had any knowledge of my condition.

I understand the frustration behind this bully and tyrant. No one whom shows clear incompetence should be sitting on the bench overseeing cases. But go read up on the Social Security Act. Read up on the Uniform Commercial Code UCC1. Look into filing a lawsuit in Equity court and sue the Social Security Administration and personal suit against Judge ********* Helms. That’s the route I’m taking right now myself.

I am just disappointed in our Government in the state of Maine.I have chronic PTSD cause my ex and his brother hired different men to try and kill me,fibromaylia and anxiety and with ALL this I am STILL struggling to get my ssi and disability.I also have fibro fog and can be forgetful and do not understand WHY I do not have my ssi and disability yet but SADLY if I was an illegal immigrant I would ALREADY have my ssi and disability !! I am a CHRISTAIN and have a pro-life ministry which I feel hinders me from getting my ssi and disability !! I have written to President Trump, vice president Pence and someone I can TRUST in our Government to help me concerning this and I have nothing to say about judge Linda Helm except I RESPECT ALL JUDGES and have a hearing with her this month and if I get my ssi and disability or not I will not judge her cause I put my FAITH in God to bring forth JUSTICE and TRUTH for me concerning my ssi and disability case!!! There are over 70 thousand indictments so SOON the corrupt government will be behind bars ,my heavenly father told me, DIVINE JUSTICE IS COMING AFTER OUR GOVERNMENT AND CHURCHES !!!

The WORST judge I have ever had the experience of meeting. I have an eye missing, fibromyalgia that was confirmed by a rheumatologist, neurologist, 2 pain clinic specialists and my PCP. I had my psychotherapist write a detailed evaluation of my anxiety and depression problems, and I have 2 herniated discs and chronic insomnia. The judge denied me in Jan. of 2012. We appealed it and two judges remanded the case back to the same judge for not giving enough weight to a couple of doctors. I had my second hearing on Jun. 4th, 2013 and 24 days later, the same judge denied me again because I did not have one or more illnesses that were termed disabled. My PCP even wrote a letter that stated that I was in no shape both physically and mentally to assume a 40 hour/wk job and there were no questions asked of the vocational expert that was present. I believe the judge did not like the other Appeals judges disagreeing of his handling of my first hearing and thus denied my second appeal. I rate this judge along with Merrill and Levin. I will appeal this again to the Appeals Council and I hope this time they will approve it instead of making me proceed to the Federal Court. I've waited 3 and a half years for this whole process and it has gotten me nowhere.

I just went through my appeals process at the ODAR office and was denied. I have two auto immune diseases and the judge has denied me. I find it very sad to think the judge denies people who actually need it, yet gives people disability that does not deserve it. I worked for my money and now that I need it I can't have. Gee, do I say thank you Judge Paul for denying me and now I am going to lose everything. Who are you to say a person can work 8 hrs a day or anything else for that matter. You don't live with them. You get a healthy paycheck every week so what do you care what anyone else goes through. Thanks for nothing.

This **** was removed from handling any combat vets cases because he rules against them. This guy tried to throe up in my face that he was a former marine officer so he's familiar with veterans. He was a snarky piece of ****. I knew I was going to be denied after I got tired of him talking down to me so I asked him if he was a combat veteran and if he'd ever actually led troops in combat? I thought he was going to have a stroke and to be honest I hope this ******* has a major medical issue that leaves him in a vegative state. I would love to spit in his disrespectful face and then **** him for being a liberal ******* hillary clinton supporter. He has a 88% denial rate for veterans and has since been relieved of hearing any veterans cases.

After waiting for two years to be seen, I was told that if I didn't sign a piece of paper saying I'm waiving my SSD benefits, if not I'll have to wait for another court date. He basically threatened me, knowing that I person who have a waited over two years and now if I say I don't want it, I can received my award soon. But when my white friends applied, they got SSI and SSD, if you look my race, how each person was awarded, YOU WILL FIND DISCREPANCY AND UNFAIRNESS!

I have not received my decision, so this is an unbiased review. I found Honorable Judge Katherine Morgan to be kind, compassionate, and patient. She intently listened to my testimony and asked fair questions all the while paying close attention to my answers. I was brought to tears at one point while discussing a tragedy that happened in my past and was told to take my time testifying, that my sadness was justified. This Judge has my utmost respect.

I am William I had KATHERINE MORGAN for my ALJ she was Very passionate, The Doctor that was there was Very knowledgeable.. He has been in the medical field for a long time. I had just a couple interruptions by myself with Updates they did not have of recent Medical papers. When my lawyer asked me what my "Normal" day was like.. I broke down and could not talk after how my morning routine went.. Judge Morgan told me to take my time and asked if i needed a break. Bottom line is before talking to my witness (my GF) describing the past few years she said she did not need to hear my witness or the Voc person on speaker phone.. she said "I am approving your Disability and back 26 months of backpay when I filed" I had her decision right there and did not have to wait 6 weeks. She wished me Good luck at least 3 times after her Gavel fell. Now my life can go on without the worries. I Thank you Again Honorable Katherine Morgan, You helped me bring Closure to the tragic event that started when I was 19.. I am 50 right now.

I am one who knows. This woman is a joke. She sued SSA in Federal District Court for retaliation related to "protected EEO activity;" gender discrimination and age discrimination. She had to concede that she could not adduce evidence of gender discrimination or age discrimination. In a long decision, the Federal District Court found that SSA did not engage in retaliation. The United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit was more terse, stating in fewer than three pages that the Federal District Court "nailed" the claim in its decision. This so-called judge has cost taxpayers thousands of dollars for a fraudulent lawsuit. And, she continues to pay claimants at a rate that exceeds SSA's averages. She earns more than $170,000.00 a year. But, SSA is too afraid to remove her, even though deposition testimony during the Federal District Court proceeding suggests strongly that she engaged in highly unethical behavior in three realms: she used her office to advance personal gains in an action before the Maine Human Rights Commission; she engaged in vulgar and condescending communications with a former employee about her female colleagues and other female office staff; and she discussed Agency business with public attorneys outside of Agency protocol to promote legal action against the Agency. She claims that she is "moral." She is nothing more than a sanctimonious fraud.

Judge Sax denied my case. The va expert agreed i could not work. Judge sax decided i could work part time in a mail room. I am 54 yrs old. I have worked for 30 years. I have spinal stenosis. Depression anxiety. Also carpel tunnel. I found her rude and after 6 years to get denied she has ruined my life.

Is Carol Sax still hearing cases? If so, what a shame! She is “milquetoast:” dull in intellect; lacking in empathy; and, most definitely, devoid of personality, especially, levity and humor.(She always made me sleepy!) But, wait! She is the Bureaucrat’s Bureaucrat in a perfectly Bureaucratic system! Does anyone else not marvel that SSA spent resources to rebrand “ODAR,” an appropriate description of the Agency’s mission, to “OHO,” which reflects “laughter,” and is so close to “UHO,” like, I do not want to know what “The Confederacy of Dunces” are planning next!

This judge, and I use that term loosely, has no business hearing disability cases. She does everything in her power to deny benefits, including utilizing unfair and unbecoming collateral impeachment techniques, prejudging the case, according administrative non-examiners more credibility than treating specialists, playing with the exertion levels in an attempt to reclassify sedentary work as light, etc. She is totally lacking in compassion, insight, judgment and is one of the least objective judges ever to wear the robes. And don't let the approval rate fool you, when you correct for partially favorable decisions, her fully favorable win rate drops to 18%, one of the lowest in the State of Michigan. Her hearing room should have a sign that states, "Abandon hope all ye who enter."

I am one of the unfortunate ones who got this judge. She had the audacity to say that I am 'alleging' my health issues when in fact I have been officially diagnosed for at least 9 years! Blatantly lying on official court papers is wrong!

The other statements are 100% accurate. Each time she asked a question of me and I tried to answer to the best of my ability she interrupted, cut me off, and say something to the affect of “we won’t have time to finish if you don’t hurry up.” She did this once while explaining something and I had to start back and she accused me of lying, although the transcription clearly told the truth. She falsely said conditions were better, when not. She said that my doctors statement was inconsistent with the record because 3 years prior I’d reported differently, yet it’s a continually worsening condition. Every single thing about the decision is factually incorrect, except for her mentioning conditions which I acknowledge were not severe. She was hostile, inconsiderate of my emotional state after feeling badgered. My lawyer, and even the SSA’s hired labor export were shocked at my treatment. Bot counting the birth of my children I didn’t miss a single day in 8 years until my health issues started, and then I tried to continue working for 5 years before accepting my disabilities as permanent. It’s disgusting.

If u were one of the unlucky ones to get this judge ,u might as well prepare to appeal. Her record stands for itself...the hardest in the nation! She denied me for copd 3 along with a list of other debilitating illnesses...at 55 . Within a month of her denial was diagnosed as inoperable lung cancer ..go figure.
