This judge is absolutely the worst, I am a 20 yr old Retired Military Veteran and at no time during the hearing took no time to thank me for my service, never looked at me and was very condescending. Ask me questions but never looked at me. This man needs to understand that you get respect where you give it. I served just as he did and needs a reality check. Acted as if he already had a decision before we even started. Terrible

I had my hearing with Judge Mucerino , and I want to say how good she was at listening to my case , asking good questions and her belief in God. God Bless you Judge. Be safe in these trying times.

My Guardian Angel. Finally an open minded , looked at the entire picture and listened. She validated what I’d been saying and praying about for a year and a half. An amazing, Judge that is ethical and understanding. Compassionate. I’m beyond appreciative that I had her. She is where she is because she’s good. She reminded me that they’re are still good people who look at the facts, doesn’t pass judgment and is clearly exceptional 🙏 I would love to speak to her and personally thank her again. We need more of her in this World.

Zisook needs to leave the bench. He is 86 years old and incompetent. His rulings are clearly inaccurate based on documentation in the case.

My recent hearing with JUDGE KATHLEEN MUCERINO turned out to be a 100 times better than I expected. I was expecting a judge who's sat for hundreds of hearings and really didn't care about the person who was probably staking their future on the outcome. But I realized right away that she was carefully listening, asking smart questions, and showed a real interest in my situation. And I also expected a fast sitting with standard questions from the judge just to move on to the next hearing so they could break for lunch!! I actually was dying to receive the results to my hearing as opposed to the opposite when I entered the heating. I would love to run into JUDGE MUCERINO some time to just be able to thank her for the way she made my hearing go. It felt like one of my luckiest days of my life !!

Your honor FLETCHER was very polite, and soft spoken and very concerned with my well being as a person first. He was very professional with all the medical records and even the problems I was having at work before I stopped going completely due to factors with my disability. Your honor FLETCHER is genuine and was able to make this whole process feel like there was purpose when most are about to give up entirely. I am at rest finally after 3 years meeting JUDGE GUY E. FLETCHER for my time to prove I am disabled. Was an honor and thank you if you ever read this for you to take my case and review me. I climbed the walls to be honest this whole time waiting ( with HOPE ) that someone would see the daily struggles I have endured. Im waiting on my case to finalize and awaiting your answer at the moment...( 9/23/19/12:28 ) to be exact your honor is the date and time im commenting on this page. Thank you and bless you for being so caring at my hearing with me and my lawyer. I wish you many blessings for you took my case as dire need as well. My father has stage 4 cancer and I just found out my grandmother has lung cancer as of 5 days ago. I also recently lost my grandfather to cancer no more then 3 years ago during all of this. I have to say it was nice to finally speak on my own behalf and for you cause to be honest a name on paper tells nothing about the person. To all that is reading speak up and be honest please with this judge. Keep your head up people reading. Your time is coming to be herd, and I have to say the wait was worth it. Thank you again your HONOR ( Guy E. Fletcher ) and many blessing to you and your family...-john

Judge Schum was very kind in court, but his decision was entirely in favor of the vocational advocate who testified against me. This is a real ****** *****. Additionally, I was rated at low intelligence, but pleasant. That hurts.

Judge: Kathleen Mucerino

I learned if your medical records were not considered accurately, the hearing information was mis-translated in the decision letter, and you know you were treated unfairly, you can issue a formal complaint against the ALJ who mishandled your case. Go to SSA.GOV and search on complaint against ALJ. Anyone who feels their claim was mishandled should file an appeal and a complaint. This is what this judge did to me and I have MRSA, home up for foreclosure on 9/20 and AC has been out for a week. I worked for 47 years. I have been unable to work since 5/2014, used my 401K, sold everything I could and very sick. I wouldn't want this if I could go back to work. I hate not working. Being on Medicaid, I can't get the medical treatment I need. I told her these things. In the letter, she stated she only reviewed my records up to 2015. I couldn't believe it. I paid in for all 47 years and I am about to end up homeless!

Judge: Carla L Waters
7/3/2018 10:07:49 AM

Wow....since your denial, which was unjust I have been homeless, my son had to help me get apartment(roach invested) I have a part time job which barely pays the rent. I have applied and sent resume out to hundreds of age is a factor. My food card doesn’t last a month...I was a strong independent woman until my injury and you pushed me to hopeless, depressed and a nothing. You are a terrible person. Thank You hope you feel good about yourself.

Judge: Kathleen Mucerino
7/3/2018 12:27:31 AM

This Judge is either incompetent or plain mean. She didn't review records going forward from 2015 and my illness is much worse. Further, she misquoted the occupational therapist regarding my ability to work saying I could stoop, kneel, etc. I told her in the hearing I can't even use my bath tub because I can't use my arms and legs to get out. I requested a CD of the hearing to make sure I remembered it correctly and I did. I'm filing an appeal but because of her incomplete and inaccurate decision, my home will be foreclosed. I have worked continuously for 47 years and she had all my records. I'm on 12 medications which she didn't address at all. This is just another indication of our terrible government at work. Sad sad sad. They have my money and I'm losing everything.

This ALJ does not properly apply the law or job classifications based on fact. She arbitrarily and capriciously makes judgement calls. She believes that anyone that can ride a motorcycle can work. I am sorry if arbitrarily and capriciously offends anyone, but this is exactly how she works.

This judge made a horrible mistake in judging my case she just keeped going on about my tattoos and I was just thinking to myself we are not here to talk about tattoos I thought were here to talk about a disability and the reasons why I can’t work but she was really just hung up about the tattoo situation again I was thinking to my self yes lady I know I got tattoos get over it already she was also judgmental on my Personal appearance my age ect so all in all I took her Decision to federal court and was in my favor for an appeal 18 months later here I go again back to court again all over her Mistake she made and For wasting my time at the end of the day she didn’t do her job right if you get this judge for your case be careful on your appearance and also be very careful on what you say she is very Judgmental and well deny your case for any little reason she feels like in my Experience is the worst judge to have.

I wept when I read what judge waters said in my denial letter. She took facts and put her own spin on them and threw them in my face. I sincerely hope anyone who needs disability payments does not get this judge. I have so many things wrong with my spine that I have to go to a surgeon who specializes in spines -one of only 5 in the country that will do this 8 hr surgery. Her “states witness” is an 80 yr old retired orthopedic who doesn’t even do spines! He said I should be able to climb a ladder, a rope, scaffolding!? And haul 20 lbs around without a problem. I can stand/sit for 20 min at a time & he said 6-8 hrs is more like it?! She has NO business being a judge

I am the single case approved by the Albuquerque Odar ALJ. Mariam C Fernandez Rice in the year of our Lord 2017. The processing office is forcing me to appeal the decision without my consent. In processing the protected application date of the approved title 16 before the approved title 2 is being denied by the processing office. And forcing me to blame the ALJ as being in error. When P.O.M.S. D.I.27515.020 new title 2 D.I.B. claim- title16 disability previously established. Clearly refers the processing office as the responsible entity in favoring the claimant in detail. I had a complicated case. I have been getting SSI for years but now have enough work credits for SSDI. I had a complete emotional break down during my hearing and Judge Knight was very nice and understanding about it. To be honest I put the wrong date for my on set when applying on my own. She could have just denied me but she went out of her to hint that it need to be changed to win. My personal experience is that she will approve you if you qualify and will be helpful if you about to lose over a technical. She was about the only pleasant part of this annoying process. She even was nicer that my lawyer and his office.

I had my appeal hearing with Judge: Sheldon P Zisook in April. He was well prepared, professional, and made the hearing very smooth and factual. He knew my case very well and clearly did a full background. All these negative comments really surprise me. I also pray for a favorable decision, but this is my assessment in the hearing process. Yes, I was nervous and I admit somewhat intimidated. Just relax, answer the questions and you will be fine. Remember, these judges represent the applicant, the SSI administration and the SSI trust. They have heavy caseloads. I really don't appreciate the comments about the judges age and passing judgement on their employment. God bless, and thank you for reading my opine..

Judge: T. Patrick Hannon
5/12/2017 3:56:35 PM

My experience with Judge Hannon was extremely negative. Judge Hannon denied my client's disability claim on the assertion that my client's disability was not an impairment that met the severity of one of the listed impairments in 20 C.F.R. Part 404, Subpart P, Appendix 1. Yet, my client's disability is in fact one of the listed impairments. Because of my negative experience and impression that Judge Hannon was prejudicial towards minorities and misogynistic, I researched him and located several lawsuits including T. Patrick Hannon v. Shirley Chater, Commissioner of the Social Security Administration 887 F.Supp. 1303 (1995). Judge Hannon sued the Social Security Administration claiming that "he was passed over for an administrative law judge ("ALJ") position in the Social Security Administration ("SSA") because he is a white male." Thus, my foregoing impression of Judge Hannon was corroborated by the fact that Judge Hannon sued the SSA because women and minorities were being given ALJ positions instead of white males like him. You can read the full case law at the following address:

I just want to say this Judge approved my case AFTER MANY UNFAIR DENIALS I have been living like a pauper for years fighting for my benefits. I have been so sick and she looked at things and read them researched the facts in my case and saw the unfairness and granted me a fully favorable decision. Well, I really hope that it's over, only time will tell! After close to a three year wait, I was able to get in, and speak with Judge T. Patrick Hannon. I really didn't know what to expect, nervous as hell as maybe some would expect. Naturally shaken, and afraid of the unknown, The Lord Held Me, just as I knew "HE' would, and I'm So Grateful for HIS Presence. Thank You LORD! If I had to say something about the Judge, I would say, he gave me a fair chance to speak and express how I felt. That meant a lot, folks barely pay any attention to what others are saying, or are trying to say. He listened, asked questions, gave me an opportunity to ask questions, and appeared to have had human interest and respect for me and my case. Don't know how it will turn out, didn't feel one way or another when I made my way out of the room. I do know, that I felt better coming out, then I did going in! It could have been relief for getting this behind me, or because what I expected to take place, didn't! Nothing like I imagined, so if anything, try not to get to worked up about these types of situation, as if you Swear by your Word, and your Word is your Bond with Our Heavenly Father, then things will go as they should! and I feel that it did! Thank You Judge T. Patrick Hannon I will follow-up with the decision of my appeal hearing to let you guys how it went, one way or the other...

Falsify of facts, says things that are not true-forces her self on professional job consultants and states things from her view that were never opioned by the job expert. Relegates an Appeals Council finding of fact to not be considered-reverses their findings-reverses des finding-The case came back for a job expert to complete the process which they did-yet you did not like the results so you reverse the Appeals councel for confirmation of jobs available-no jobs where available. Des factually stated I could not do the job I left-what you do is to undo that and say otherwise-to rule out what the Appleals councel found as significant issues-to render it your way-to steal away the case to be based on your fabricated lies.

I had court today for PTSD, degressive depressive disorder and anxiety. The judge and his assistant were very polite even though I was tearful, nervous and full of anxiety out of my control. I really feel like he listened to me and understood I was being honest with my case. I pray I receive a fully favorable soon as no decision was made in court. He is not mean like everyone says and if I could work I would and I respect a man his age working. He has a tracheostomy and speaks through a voice box but is very easy to understand. I was previously a Respiratory Therapist so it may have been easier for me to understand him but he was smart, kind and understanding in my opinion. I have a great respect for my elders and I think he saw that. My medical records prove it all so I have great faith he will make the right decision and approve me as soon as possible. Don't let these other posts scare you all. He isn't who he is made out to be on these negative posts.

I have worked with Judge Zamora for many years. She is conscientious and takes her job seriously. She reviews evidence, not just sentiment, as it should be. These judges hear hundreds of cases per year and I have every confidence that Judge Zamora reviews the evidence, is prepared, and makes a determination based on the information presented to her. She is a professional and should be treated as such. I have a great deal of admiration and respect for her.

Judge: Carla L Waters

Shame on you Judge Waters. You have no idea the pain I'm in. I worked in the ER so I know how many fakers on SSD. I am not faking and if you read the reports you can see. I worked 35+ years and never received any support including child support. Now when I need the support you are deciding my fate. I have been knocked down several times and got right back up, this time did me in. Now I'm about to be 59 and I'm devastated. You know no one will hire me. I didn't plan this you can see I have worked since 15 years old. Why pay a "Vocational Expert" if your not going to listen? He said with all my limitations I can not work. I guess the MRI showing 4 disc budge ,protrusion, slit in L4-5 and the height loss plus since first denial I have had Breast Cancer surgery and 2 skin Cancer surgeries,on heavy medication and very depressed! Making a salad or microwave dinner or using a swifter doesn't mean I'm not in pain! By the way I now have nothing and stay in a room at my son's house, I don't do any of that! Pain Management told me to keep body moving.some days I hurt so bad my 5yr old granddaughter rubs me. Dr said I'm always going to be on medication and even surgery wouldn't help my back. The people who see me often know how I struggle. Like anything good days and more bad days. I heard that most are denied the first time, I must say after all reports you received I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. I guess it was just a flashlight for when I'm homeless.

Judge: John W Wojciechowski
8/22/2016 10:12:48 AM

I felt that he was very fair. When I walked out I felt like he wasn't looking for a reason to deny my claim but more so a reason to approve it. He was a bit standoffish but all in all I felt that he gave my case a fair look. The VE was another story. She was clueless rude and lacking in every area. But the Judge Wojciechowski was a respectable fair man, at least in my hearing.

Judge: Randolph E Schum

Although i was very unimpressed with the lack of care my physicians paid to my records i felt as if Judge Schum listened with courtesy and respect to what i had to say about my conditions. Judge: Randolph E Schum

Judge: T. Patrick Hannon
4/25/2016 3:56:33 PM

Judge Hannon was good enough to rule that I can get my money back from SSA who unfairly - and unlawfully witheld it for two years (this threw my life into havoc of course). Nine months later, I have not received that money. Communications from SSA are horrendous. When I call, they acknowlege that they owe me but just don't know what the "processing center" is doing, or not doing.

Judge: Myriam C Fernandez Rice
4/25/2016 2:20:49 PM

I understand that this could be taken as "this person got turned down and is upset". I am indeed upset, but it is because I was turned down for completely false reasons. So beware of this Judge. She will use anything she can against you. I thought my rep and I had everything in order. My T's crossed and I's dotted. I was wrong! This judge acted as if my PCP's RFC paperwork didn't exist because one minor thing was not in my medical history. My PCP supports the fact that I am disabled. I also have two other doctors that stated I had MDI's that met the SSA guidelines for disability. She uses things in your medical report that are autofill parts from specialists. Like my wrist Ortho's ROS form that I now know he doesn't fill out except for the reason HE is seeing you. That being my wrist. So he didn't fill out that I have fibromyalgia, severe headaches, back pain, weakness, etc. And that was used against me in the decision letter. Even though it was never asked about at the hearing. This judge seems to discriminate based on your age and medical condition(Still a lot of judges that refuse to see the conditions I have as real). Even though my MDI's are listed in the SSA guidelines she chose to not consider them. There are so many errors in her decision letter that my rep said it will take a while to list them all. So I guess that's a good thing. Problem is that I have been trying to get the disability I deserve for 4 1/2 years now. My family and I are financially ruined. The appeals council will take 14-18 more months per my rep and then if Federal suit is needed, another year or more. My family will be on the streets by then. The SSA system drains everything you have worked hard for in your life and drags the process out over way too many years. Just to be turned down by someone who doesn't follow guidelines and makes wild assumptions with no facts.

Judge: Sheldon P Zisook
3/15/2016 1:14:16 PM

Judge Sheldon Zisook at age 82 shouldn't be a judge any longer. He denied me 2 times even though he sent me to 4 different doctors. Every doctor including my primary said I am disabled but the judge doesn't believe any of them. He plays GOD with peoples lives. After the first denial, it went to the Appeals Council and they sent a letter remanding it back to the judge to take care of what they lined out along with the recommendation to make a new decision. He refused to do what the Appeals Council told him to do. He is bad for Arizona.

Judge: Sheldon P Zisook
11/29/2015 3:34:03 AM

My husband received his decision by ALJ Zisook. Since it is "fully favorable", it might sound that I am subjective but really not, just want to give my 2 cents, since I visited this site before and knew that I can leave a comment. Firstly, when my husband had a hearing, several hours later, he said that judge "was not asking stupid questions and didn't prolong hearing more than necessary, because my husband has fear of other people and when he came put, he didn't remember anything that went in there immediately after it was done, because he was scared and just wanted to go home and there, after several hours, he said simply "Judge didn't ask stupid questions and let me go before I had a panic attack". After reading ALJ Zisook's decision today, I really have to say that he addressed every single medical source and his opinion on them. I literally mean he addressed everything, which means he really did look atound a lot before making a decision. And because of that, I would have left him 5 stars even if had denied him. I understand that denail of claim can make somebody become subjective in their comments. I really believe that ALJ Zisook is very professional. You might have different view but we all have our own circumstances (I am writing this instead of my husband, who had not used computer in several years, nor he watches TV etc...). Also, he had Stephanie Lake as his lawyer, I am sure she helped by pointing out to things that I, and especially my husband, would never know.

Judge: Christa Zamora

This judge allowed the VE to practically sleep in his chair. He yawned loudly throughout my hearing and then started ripping open cardboard mail envelopes.... I had some notes I had brought and when asked a question I referred to them and when I hesitated to get my thoughts together, I was asked if I wanted to submit these notes. I was already in an anxiety attack and didn't know what to do. I never answered her question - the lawyer took my notes and the hearing moved on. I was in tears trembling from anxiety and it didn't matter, she was done. Yes, my lawyer sucked but to have severe anxiety, be agrophobic and in a room with 3 people I don't know being very rude (VE) I just broke. It was also perfect timing to receive my denial on christmas eve. I am 5/5 weigh 135, have dx ra, fibro, severe anxiety and the top job suggestion on my denial was a Bouncer. The next a house supervior. She also did not look at any of my current doctor's notes - or did and just didn't believe them or ignored them. I don't know what I'll do. She may be nice, but her goal is to deny.

I cannot agree more with the post from 8/6/12.... I went to a hearing in front of this excuse for a man. I have PTSD from when officers opened fire killing my partner ontop of me and I was also born with Psoriasis which has turned into Psoriatic Arthritis; which has pitted and turned my bones into that of an 80 year old at age 30. The judge began reading news reports from google in court, he then went ahead and opted to put me on trail for things the news articles said. Even when my attorney purposely made my disabilities start a year after this. And even when these articles were proven wrong by the law... He wanted nothing to do with my Arthritis conditions, regardless of what was said by his own doctors nor mine. He then started calling me a drug addicted as my primary care physician recommended I get LEGAL medical marijuana... I am glad I have an attorney but I have never left feeling so horrible or depressed about medical conditions I had no part in the matter of.. I then received a 14 page denial from him changing everything from my sex to my medical conditions. Even after stating what his own hired doctors had to say about me not able to work a full work scheduled....he then concluded I can still be a does one stand when their knee is the size of a watermelon, toes curled, arches raised and shrinking both two inches in height and shoe size...

I was afraid period entering a courtroom with no representation but the judge I believe saw that fear and postponed the hearing so I could obtain representation. I have been advocating for my son for years but, I don't blame the No its not going to work in your favor people I examine what I can do differently and I come back with my armor on.thanks Mrs Alden for helping in my time of fear those are the small things I appreciate. No is spelled No but it's meaning doesn't represent the End! It means what can I do differently to strengthen my was a honor to come before you judge Alden and I haven't received no decision yet but I've over came one more hurdle.

Judge: Carla L Waters

I just want to voice my opinion on the Unfavorable decision that was made on my case recently. I want to let you know how disappointed I was when I read your decision. Although, you found my doctors credible in their diagnosis of my disabilities you questioned my character and called me a liar for the answer that I gave you under Oath. While reading this report I find it disturbing because you contradict yourself, your/my doctor’s notes. Ergo, the testimony that I gave to you concerning my day-to-day activities, my health, schooling and simply trying to care for two teenage sons you dismissed it. I have worked for over 35 years, which is on record, not mentioning the years that are not on record. If I were not in pain from day to day sometimes continuously, I would have a job and be working. I believe that everyone has good in them and people try to be fair to the very best of their ability. However, I also know that you really have to consult your higher being when it comes to making decision that could shatter a person’s life. I am sorry that my integrity and character was questionable to you. I thank God that I am a woman who has great Hope in him. Because if I did not I would have been crushed not only from you denying my case but also because you attacked my character by calling me a liar. My hope is that the next person who comes before you that you see and hear them. I believe that you are a fair judge who weighs all the factors in people’s cases to the best of your knowledge. Therefore, my prayer for you is that God gives you more discernment when you make judgments on peoples cases and character. I prayed that because it is a need for all involved in making decisions on people’s livelihoods. Our system is so broken that when honest people who really have issue in theirs lives and they need the system to work for them it does not. I pray that God give you all wisdom and discernment. Thank you for reading.

I found this judge to be through, professional and well prepared. She was personable while being efficient even though my appearance was over an hour long. All of the personal (the vocational and the note taker) in her court were clearly on the same page as Judge Mucerino. It seemed to me that they have worked together for awhile. The only question I had after leaving is when the "on set" date of my disability would be considered. According to my attorney it could be the date of application (June 2011)or perhaps the date I stopped working June 2010. An argument could be made that while I continued to work I was in fact disabled I 2006. Since I have no idea of the rules determining this I will rely on the Judge for a determination. No matter the decision I am confident that it will be correct.

Very rude, patronizing, unethical and cold-hearted. Worst judge I have yet to app[ear before. Does not have any empathy or compassion whatsoever. Claimant is clearly disabled due to his mental disability of bi-polar and social anxiety. He overlooks the whole thing and finishes hearing swiftly denying him. If you appear before him for a mental disability, tough luck. Claimant is currently being evicted due to an unethical judge. He lacks knowledge in the mental health department. Why is he a SSI judge for the disabled?

Judge: Kathleen Mucerino

I don't know her decision yet. But I am very concerned about it as she made a remark at the end that I will NEVER forget. She said "You must understand that it is very hard for me to label someone your age disabled for the rest of your life." I have a progressive autoimmune disease that has NO cure and NO real treatment. It WILL get worse and it WILL eventually take my life. I am in my forties with the health of someone almost twice my age. I pray that she fully understands this and my need to help care for myself and my family. I am scared because of her statement. The unknown is the worst part.

I find it suspicious that every time a negative post is made about this judge there is a sweet and flowery rebuttal saying how fair she is. The facts percentages speak for themselves. Her low percentage of approval speaks to the truth. I wouldn't be surprised if the only good comments on here are from the judge herself. Definitely a nice but unfair judge!

I regularly appear before this judge - i think she is fair and courteous - she let me present my client's case thoroughly. Unlike the post on 4/5/14, her demeanor shows that she's been a judge for a while - she controls her hearing room well. I thought she had a good grasp of my clients' medical records and the law. You'll get a fair hearing with her.

Judge: Christa Zamora
4/5/2014 11:51:57 AM

Judge Zamora was very nice and polite. She was very respectful to all in the court room. That being said, I do not feel she is a very good judge. The reasons she stated for denying me have me completely shocked. She only used parts of my medical history, and only took parts of my testimony from the hearing. The first time I was denied before the hearing, SS said that after I went to their own doctors, I could no longer do my old job because of my pain and limitations. But because I was too young according to them, I could find something else to do. After going to the hearing, Judge Zamora says I can do my past work and had the nerve to suggest that although she could not prove it, she thinks I FORCED my doctor to fill out my RFC report to say I was disabled. She would not use any of his medical records or opinions, nor the doctors that SS sent me to. She listed a denial because I missed one of my doctor appointments due to a lapse in my insurance. She also denied me because I have 3 children I take care of. I told her at the hearing that all my children take care of themselves and help take care of me! Two of them in college and one in highschool! UNBELIEVABLE! The vocational expert said there were no jobs I could do with my RFC or do my past work at the hearing and she said in the denial letter that he said I could do my past work. The list of reasons for the denial went on and on! She asked if I cook. I told her yes, but only sometimes and when I do it takes a very long time and I have to take breaks in between and have help. She denied me because she said I do chores. Like I said, she was very nice at the hearing, but she doesn't know how to be an ALJ!

I felt that I needed to respond to the post dated 3/31/14 regarding Judge Zamora. I felt that she was very fair at my hearing. She asked questions and listened to my responses. She was polite and professional. When I received her decision in the mail it was obvious she was very thorough. She referenced the various "exhibits" (documents) that had been submitted so she had taken the time to review all of the information pertaining to my case. We may not always agree with the decisions the judges make. All we can ask is that they take the time to look at everything that is presented and make an informed decision. I believe Judge Zamora did exactly that. At the conclusion of my hearing Judge Zamora said I would receive her decision within 60 days. I received the Notice of Decision in less than a month.

This judge is a complete airhead!!! She does not know this area of law very well at all. She is a new judge who clearly does not get it. It is clear her goal is to deny as many people as she can without knowing the facts. She does not know how to way medical opinions and she fails to even utilize evidence that demonstrates disability from the State's own doctors. I feel sorry for all disabled Americans stuck with this person as a judge!

Judge: Claudi L Rosen-Underwood
3/29/2014 4:18:10 AM

I have been seeing my doctors for over 15 years. One of my doctors sent in 4 letters explaining my condition and how it renders me "totally disabled". My other doctor sent in 2 letters saying that in his opinion I am "totally disabled". SSA sent me to 3 of their doctors and all 3 of them said I am "totally disabled". There's 34 medical exihibits in my SS file containing almost 900 pages of medical reports. 8 months after my hearing, I get a decision denying my case! In the decision, this so-called judge actually states that she did not give much, if any, weight to the letters from my doctors because she did not understand what the term "totally disabled" means! I've asked 7 of my grandson's friends if they know what "totally disabled" means and all 7 of them knew exactly what it means and they are all only in the forth grade. It is absurd that a well educated so-called disability judge who is probably being paid over $100,000 per year with tax payer dollars, doesn't know what "totally disabled" means. I don't even know how such a thing is possible. She also said that I didn't have any muscle atrophy but she never got closer than 15 feet to me and as far as I know she isn't a doctor so how could she say I don't have muscle atrophy? That woman doesn't know what totally disabled means but yet she can diagnose whether a person has muscle atrophy without ever examining me or seeing my body. My lawyer appealed my case but he told me that it would take the appeals court over a year to decide my appeal and, get this, if the appeals court agrees with my appeal, they are going to send my case back to the same judge and instruct her to hold another hearing and issue a new decision! Why would they send my case back to the same judge who doesn't even know what the term "totally disabled" means? My lawyer said that even after the appeals court sends my case back to the same judge that it will take this judge another year or more to hold another hearing. So, if my appeal is successful, I will have to wait more than two more years before I have another hearing and then when I do, I will have to go back in front of this same stupid woman so she can just deny my case again. This is so absurd that I cannot even believe it is happening for real. It's like something out of a weird movie or something. SSA is a rip off. I wish I had done like so many and just worked under the table. That my health and well being as well as my life in general is in the hands of such blatant incompetence and stupidity is for me, a death sentence. My own government is spending hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars to deny me from simply getting back my own money that I paid into SSA for the past 34 years is nothing short of a crime, especially when the person deciding my case has already admitted in writing that she doesn't understand a term that any 4th grader comprehends fully. What's really scary is that I am only one of millions of Americans who are subjected to this kind of inexcusable incompetence from our own government, a government we are paying for. The judge is no better than me. Her income comes from the same place my benefits would come from - the US taxpayer. Except, I paid for my benefits - it's my own money for God's sake!

I applied for Social Security Disability September 2011, I worked 32 years. I have had Epilepsy since age 11. My epilepsy consist of Grand and petite Mal seizures, i have rheumatoid arthritis for the last 8 years in my spine and my hips. and i was diagnosed with spinal stenosis back in April of this year 2013 i have been taking epidural shots and I'm in a scooter wheel chair. My disability hearing was August 5th, 2013 location Social security administration building in Phoenix, AZ decision was decided October the 1st 2013. My case was finally closed December 24th, 2013. My case was denied by Claudia Rosen-Underwood. During my hearing the judge asked a Vocational rehab specialist can Tammy work 9 different jobs-each time the Vocation rehab Specialist said I was not able to work, and my Neurologist said I was no longer able to work and my family doctor said I was not able to work both doctors sent social security and my lawyer letters stating I'm no longer able to work. Claudia Rosen-Underwood stated in my social security denial letter she questioned both of my Doctors credibility! ..and she questioned my fathers, who is 78, credibility and said me and my Husband were Lying about my epilepsy and me of lying about me having a Stroke in 2005..and Doctor Shaw) sent me to have a. Cat Scan and MRI both test show Siezure Activity, Even though My Past Doctors and present Doctors have sent all my past medical records to show everything is 100% true

Judge: Myriam C Fernandez Rice
12/27/2013 6:16:16 PM

This judge made a terrible mistake in judging me incorrectly. She had numerous errors throughout the lengthy denial letter I received, regarding her supposed review of my medical records. She claimed I didn't have proof of several diagnosis' in my records when there was clear cut proof in these records. My third party who was supposed to testify at my hearing was not allowed to do so, and She made allegations in her letter about me that are downright descriminatory and false. She didn't ask me about several things during the hearing but then made statements in her letter accusing me of things she never gave me a chance to confirm or deny. She claims I am still able to work despite the fact I have become so ill that I can't keep up with my own personal hygiene let alone work. I haven't even been able to keep most of my appointments with several of my specialists because I have been too sick to drive myself to them. I have several diagnosis' on the adult list of disabling conditions, and I hope she sees this and knows that she was cruel and wrong about me, and my life has been completely destroyed because of her. I will most likely have to live on the street soon because she denied me benefits I have desperately needed. God help you if you have to have this judge in charge of your hearing. She is irresponsible and descriminatory and shouldn't be allowed to judge with her own personal opinions on a person. She is mean and will destroy your character if she doesn't like the look of you. That is what happened to me. She will destroy your life if she doesn't like you. This judge ruined my life that was already in the toilet from years of suffering from a rare illness.

Judge Kathleen Mucerino was great. She was well prepared for my case and asked questions that pertained to my disability. She spoke respectfully and never seemed as if she was uninterested in my case. My lawyer had spoken to me over the phone prior to my hearing and said that she might come off as being short and hard with her questions. It was nothing like that. I was a little nervous going into the hearing, but within minutes, my mind was at ease. I believe that she use my statements and make a well educated decision.

Well I see that your percentage of case approval's have been dwindleing in the past 4 yrs. I wonder if the pressure from the government and your superiors is adding to your ability to make fair "judgements? With the media's imput with article saying that disability approval by soc. sec. "judges" have been on an incline must be tough being fair and unbias.Maybe if the gov. wouldn't have taken the lock box off soc. sec. to help fight needless wars and create us mentally disable veterans they wouldn't have this so called soc. sec. safety net, probably would have a "running short " of money issue. That might help in letting the "judges" feeling pressure to disapprove so many case unjustly. Seem's the going approval rate is at 46%?Wonder what it will drop to by the end of this year ?The system is flawed. You have gallantly stayed right on the national approval average. My My!

Judge/Doctor Moulaison, in you disertation on why you found "unfavorable" in my case was that their was a job I could do. A JOB THAT (!) YOU SAID I DID FOR 15 YRS, THATS UNTRUE, 2, a job that I worked 4 yrs at and asked for and received a transfer to another position with that company because of physical difficulties in performing that job which later I was terminated from because of my mental issues in dealing with other co workers and lack of respect for those of authority and YOU recommend I can do work like that physically and safely? You should have study my file and listened to the PROFESSIONAL DOCTORS IN MAKING YOU DECISION.YOU WOULD HAVE THEN BEEN DOING THE SYSTEM JUSTICE!

People who are Not disabled should Not recieve disability. I agree. People who are SHOULD. The "psyhologist" she used has been banned from tesifiying leaving her to trust her opinion over that of medical specialists and professionals. The manner in which Judge Knight decides these cases is Absolutly with prejudice and show signs of fatigue. Using the law as a method to find loopholes to prevent honest people with real disabilities from recieving the benifits they worked so hard to pay for before becoming disabled is Poor judgement. the requirement for disability was 7 out of 10 sysmtoms. I have met all 10. Where is the "justice" in this? Appeal process? 4 years and counting...ABSURD and Cruel!

This ALJ is very bias, outrageous, unenthical, screams and yells, believes everyone else in untruthful and not forcoming if there is a slight difference or misunderstanding in communications. He see himself as a GOD like figure and treats the claimant as a criminal who should be locked up for life. I could hear him yelling through the door at the claimant before me, and he yelled as me as well, even though I was doing the best I could considering I had not had my medication. The doctor on the phone had advised him that she did recommend an approval for my disability, but he wanted me to give up what was owed to me (in back pay), and take less in payments from SSDI in order to approve my claim. This (ALJ) clearly has no respect for his oath, postion, or people and should be removed from the bench and duties he has abused.

This ALJ tends to say outrageous comments and belittle people. Prepare your claimant for either a 5 minute hearing or a 45 minute berating. The ALJ will often talk off the record before the hearing and try to get you to withdraw, amend or simply tell you he will grant the case. If he does not intend to grant the case then the ALJ focuses on any part of the claim he perceives as criminal or fraudulent and will cross-examine your claimant as if in criminal court. As a result, a claimant will often leave the hearing in tears or furious.

I do not know the outcome at this point, but whatever it is, I fully believe that Judge Robins will make the best decision for me. I consider myself a very stoic person; however, when I had to explain the difficulty I had coming to grips with leaving my career behind, I tried extremely hard to not sound as though I was about to bawl! 3/9/2012 7:05:07 AM

Judge Shave seems very nice. I do not approve of comments that she made about my case. She got information about me that when she blerted out a question about something I said to a Disability Psych. that did a interview with me was way not correct. I feel that she should not attack someone in that way. What was said is Depervation of Character and was way out of line. I would like to see that report and set the Record Straight. She took 3 different accurances and 3 different people and combined it into one incident with 1 person. Which leads me to believe that she was either fed the wrong information by someone that was not listening completely or she intentional did it. I would like to think she would not do that. She stated that she was not medicaly qualified to look at pictures that go with the report made by a Qualifed Phyician and Surgion who took the pictures of my insides, So my question would be how can you be qualified to do a Medical judgment as to if a person is truly in pain or disabled. I feel that judges that sit on this panel should have a medical background in order to get the right decision. Other wise this is a true injustice to the persons she or any other judge that has the authority to make the decision as to how much pain or the nature of the persons true disability.
