I had my hearing with Judge Ayer this morning. He was polite and seemed very thorough. I’m not sure how my case will turn out but his professionalism made a very stressful morning more manageable. I suffer from numerous medical and mental health issues. I was incredibly anxious before my hearing and it was definitely a relief to have a judge who was respectful and professional. Now I just have to pray I get a favorable ruling as soon as possible. Good luck to you all!

Decision has not been made and that in no way reflects on my and my granddaughter's experience with our teleconference with Judge: Carl C McGhee of Tampa, Fl. His voice was reassuring and warm from his first 'hello'. In cases like this that is very very important. My granddaughter was able to relax and to answer all questions about her sensitive health issues with detail and honestly. I was sworn in and questioned as to the validity of her explanations since she live with us. He requested one more document from her employer and said he would get back with us. We have not yet had that 2nd meeting, but it w as scheduled to be in time for her to get the documents. Whatever his decision, we both feel very confident he is researching the issue and will make the best decision. My granddaughter was requested to get one additional document to assess the work place. We have not talked with him the final time. NS

Judge: Kurt Ehrman
1/27/2020 8:14:49 AM

Started the hearing by explaining how he could ignore any information past 2 years ago (I have several years of proof of permanent disabilities and explanations of tests/etc that show how I was diagnosed that he could then make irrelevant) and proceeded to actually yell at me about something that had nothing to do with disability. Then he dug into personal private information that had to do with my address that also had nothing to do with my disability. So if you're under the attorney general program for a stalker, he's going to make sure your info is now accessible. Your lawyer's not likely to speak up because legal word of mouth is he's bad for disability cases regardless of how obvious those disabilities are. Kurt Ehrman completely disregarded a psychologist I saw weekly for nearly a year in favor of an SSI paid one-time psychologist review from almost two years prior. Acted like he thought he was a prosecuting attorney, but since he was also the judge could fabricate what I could and couldn't do. I have no aid to fill out forms necessary to turn him in for obvious bias so can't. Also worry that since he was so openly biased, he knows no lawyers will turn him in for it (the lawyers here should be ashamed for not turning him in on behalf of his clients if he treats all of us this way). He's one of the highest-paid employees at Social Security which I think speaks for itself to anyone here who understands how corrupt SSI hearings are. He even ordered that I could drive even though it's federally illegal for me to do so and has been for many years due to health conditions which was well covered in doctor's notes. That was just one of the many permanent conditions he was able to ignore due to picking and choosing when he would allow proof to be presented and deciding permanent conditions could just disappear over time. When you see all the homeless people in St. Pete and Tampa and wonder why they "won't get a job" or assuming they're druggies because they're talking to themselves when they're actually mentally ill - remember it's judges like this that are actually the cause. Half of the reasons I was turned down were complete non-sequiturs. Not disabled because obese, not disabled because I have a social media (that I haven't had in 2 years, anyway but no), not disabled because he decided conditions lasting over 10 years caused by temporal lobe brain damage will just disappear, not disabled because he didn't like which medicine doctors prescribed, and described in detail how I took it (which was as prescribed) as though that proved I wasn't disabled.

The disability rules, law, I should of got my disability, but this judge denied me my disability. I am a very sick person, there is days I can barely walk, I honestly don't know if I am going to make it some days.. I have so much pain , so forgetful, the social security doctor said I was disable to work, because of my disease. She mention of me being obesity, and lack of education. It never stopped me working before. I have worked ever since I was 12 years old, worked hard for over 40 years. I have worked for everything I have, and now I am not able to work and about to lose everything I have ever worked for, because I am not able to work, and this Judge made this unfair and inhumane decision, on behalf I felt she is a prejudge Person. It is such a shame that a judge can make this kind of decision, because they don't like a person. What has our country become to. So sad that's it's become that such cases are treated like this. God be with us all.

The honorable Paul L Johnston is very professional, fair, honest, responsible, rational and very understanding what ever the situation may be. His rulings are based on evidence for each individual situation and claimant at hand for rulings accordingly. Justice is done when a right decision has been made and Honorable Johnston is by far the best Judge in this district.

Don't let this judges smile and jokes in courtroom make you think you won your case. He will question your crediabilty and your medical records and throw them out. He was also evaluate your appearance and how you sit threw hearing. He will watch you walk put of room and note his finding on how you move in his decision letter. Good luck with this judge, your gonna need it.

I was diagnosed with Septis vasculitis Lupus back in Dec. 2017. I have been taken out of work by my Rheumatologist at that time. I was assigned this Judge for my upcoming hearing this Jan. This decease can kill me if I do not take precautions such as taking the proper medicine. My condition was presented on TV on Dr. G., Medical Examinier, and when I saw what my type of decease can do to me, I can no longer sleep at night. Seeing this Judge thinks he a doctor maybe he will understand my condition better than me and my Rheumatologist and allow to collect disability. We will have to wait and see I guess. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I haven’t had a decision yet. From Judge Torres however I think a lot of these comments are unfair he has a very hard job to do he has to weed out the frauds from the people that are actually disabled I didn’t have a hard time understanding his accent he had very kind eyes he seemed very sweet and extremely professional I had a God awful attorney and judge Torres took the first 45 minutes to Reprimand my attorney and he also cut my Hearing short because of the time it took to call out my attorney Of course I’m going to be extremely disappointed if I’m not awarded Social Security...But I don’t believe it will be the judges fault I will believe that it will be my attorney’s fault for not doing his job correctly we live in a society where there are a lot of Frauds out there and unfortunately the judges have to decipher fact from fiction If I am not approved then I will just appeal and start the process over again I know it’s hard and I know it’s unfair to a lot of people however it is the way it is and that is to keep the frauds at Bay....You have my vote judge to ask whether I’m approved or not

I refuse to call this man a judge. He should not even be allowed to judge a dog show! He was very biased, he had no compassion and before I could sit down he was already saying my case was unfavorable... I have learned that he says that prior too all hearings he wants to denied while microphone and recordings are off. I did not he was such an expert in medicine. WOW! He knows more than doctors. I have had multiple hip, shoulder and back surgeries and I can barely function. yet he denied me benefits!

If you're under the age of 50, you can pretty much forget being approved. At 27% approval, you cannot argue with this theory. While very pleasant in the hearing, she has her mind made up before you walk in there. If the national average for judges approving case is around 42%, an approval rate of 27% indicates something is bad wrong here. Unfortunately, bad things happen to people under 50. This judge doesn't seem to care about that. One star for being nice in the hearing.

I've attempted suicide 3 times since this man denied me for help. I've had a very troubled life since he refused my help. I didn't need the money, I just needed the financial accessibility to a doctor that could help me. Years later, I have very bad anxiety and have been diagnosed with depression. I think about death every day of my life now - and when I do, I think about this guy. My very bad anxiety problem turned into severe depression. Doctors tell me this could have been prevented if somebody simply believed me before it got worse. My life is over now. I will never be the same.

Judge: Robert Ballieu
12/24/2018 6:05:56 AM

I went before Judge Robert Ballieu in the early part of December. I am prone to horrific panic attacks and the moment I stepped into the courtroom I had a sense of calmness come about me. I believe it was from his initial demeanor, his professionalism, politeness and smile. He was not confrontational or belittling. He is there to listen to the facts and medical evidence of the case and make an informed decision based on what's presented to him. I was still nervous, scared and in tremendous pain, but I was Blessed To have had him as a judge. I'm not sure how my case will go. We were in there for an hour which was a bit debilitating for me, but I wish I could have gone over every detail about me and what my health conditions were and how each one affected me in various situations throughout each day. My memory is horrible and I barely remember what took place other than he made me feel like a human and comfortable. Regardless, of the outcome I made it out of there without a panic attack because of his professionalism, demeanor and his calming voice. I was told I'd know something within 90 days.

Judge: Margaret Craig
10/23/2018 11:08:05 PM

Judge Margaret Craig --- she seemed to be firm, understanding, and compassionate with a no nonsense approach. But, I will appeal if not approved. I went to the SSA offce to get a CD of my case. 1. There are medical records in my CD that belong to a male. 2. The recorded report list my condition as trimmers? I have Tremors, not something you cut a bush with. 3. There are errors in what I responded to the judge. 4. There are duplicate medical records which will make it more time consuming for the judge to view my case. 5. I should have viewed the CD before the hearing and corrected mistakes that I could. But, I thought the Attorney's assistant did this. My mistake!!! 6. If I did not speak English the grid rules would have already found me disabled. The Penalty for being an American and paying SS taxes since I was 18. I am 52 and my main disabilities are essential tremors and severe migraines. I feel both my upper arms not being able to do simple task, meet the listing for Parkinson's. I can not type or write. I use a mic voice recorder to type, and go back and correct errors slowly and frustratingly. I was on FMLA for my migraines before leaving my last job. The manager found ways to make my job more stressful because of the fmla. The evaluations from my job are included in my case showing I have difficulty with supervisors. But, it's the other way around the Supervisors have difficulty understanding my set backs and cause me to lash out. Forcing me to quit. This was my last hope. I can't even fill out an application and yes for the type of lower wage job that I would qualify for they have paper applications still. I believe this judge asked many of the right questions. The RFC isn't accurate that was applied. Lift 20 pounds occasionally 10 pounds constantly. Never, I have fibromyalgia too and yes I would struggle to lift the weight she specified, but the next few days I wouldn't be able to move or allow anyone to touch me. I believe eventually the whole picture of my disabled life will be seen in those records with what I explained to Judge Margaret Craig. You'd be lucky to get her in my opinion.

She was compassionate, caring, professional and most of all - understanding! Thank you Judge Neel!

Judge: Steven D Slahta
8/8/2018 7:38:13 AM

I am still floored that judge Slahta denied my SSDI claim over 6 months ago, first of all if you re reading this I assume you filled for SSDI and doing research if there is three things i could pass on to you it would be 1. most ppl on the internet say if it takes a long time after your hearing to hear about your judge ruled on you, you most likely won that was not my case it took almost 6 months to learn that the judge turned me down 2, my lawyer my cardiologist and my primary care doctor all said i would have no problem getting put on disabilty, now my lawyer said nothing is guaranteed but i was almost for sure going to win my case as she put it you never know how the judge will rule but i had a really strong case and should win no problem, so just because ppl that should know what they are talking about say something in your favor the only opinion is what the judge thinks if the judge is having a bad day you will lose your case! 3, they always give you a chance to talk during your hearing towards the end of it take advantage of that i feel like i didnt take full advantage of that time. and a 4th thing I was sent to a SSDI doctor and when I got there they said I didnt have an appointment so I had to call someone at SSDI to give me an appointment luckly I had the appointment letter with me so the doctors ppl said they would try to work me in after about 2 hours after my appointment time i was seen by the doctor for all of three minutes half of which the doctor complainded about her pay she got from SSDI appointments in the the letter from the judge he talked on and on about how my 3 minute appointment the doctor did not find cause for me to be put on SSDI the judge never once in his final report mentioned my Cardiologist of over a year or my primary care doctor who i had seen at that point for over 10 years both wrote letters of support to get on SSDI so long story short SSDI doctors are jokes. Im a gulf war veteran and I feel completely abandoned and betrayed by my country and mostly by this judge Slahta

Mr. Torres was the ALJ judge for my disability hearing on March 14, 2018. In the courtroom I was represented by an attorney, myself, the court reporter, and a vocational expert. I began my disability hearing outlining the facts of my disability. Judge Torres listened as I stated my claim, asked questions that were relevant to my disability and deferred questions to the vocational expert. In my opinion, Judge Torres is fair, upholds the laws of social security disability, and listens to the defendants. I see no reason that his decisions are not based on facts and if there is proof of disability then he decides accordingly. I did not find his accent thick at all as a previous poster stated.

Judge Neel is a very pleasant ALJ. It always hasn't been this way with certain judges in this office (thankfully they are gone now). However, if you are under the age of 50, you can pretty much forget an approval from her. As of this writing, she has the lowest approval rating of them all. That should tell you plenty. Stats don't lie. Although she is "up" from her 28% approval rating when she was in Tampa. Progress? 5 stars for being pleasant, courteous and professional. 0 stars for bieing biased against younger individuals. 3 stars overall.

Judge: Amber Downs

Even though I feel judge Gonzalo Vallecillo was unsympathetic I too did not fully participate. I have been stressed during this entire 4 year-long process. Due to my fear, I did not speak up for myself. I was deathly afraid and I did not provide full explanations, speak up, or tell the judge about my new medical issues. When asked about my knee that I KNEW was not in my medical records (trick question) I did not speak up about it not being in my records. I have many pains throughout my body but none of them trump my back pain so I don't complain or talk about them. The information he made the decision on is nearly two years old. I have an MRI that proves everything including a torn rotator cuff that was not considered in the hearing because I only sought help late 2017 after the pain was no becoming unbearable (one year after my original documents were sent to disability). My issues are 4 bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, bone spurs, sciatica, SI joint dysfunction, and major depression/bipolar. So I feel he made his decision based on the information presented. I was very intimidated and scared.

Judge: Ryan Kirzner

Judge Kirzner is a direct and no nonsense ALJ. He was professional and thorough during his line of questioning during my SSDI Hearing. Following his lead made it less challenging for me to answer his questions because his questions were clear and direct. One could not make any assumptions about what decision he would make because of his professionalism and thoroughness during the hearing. I am unsure of what the outcome may be but I can honestly say that Judge Kirzner's professionalism and experience lessened some of my anxiety about what the next step is. I can honestly say that if I'm denied I received a fair hearing.

Judge Rodriguez seemed very fair. I haven't received my letter so I can't say anything about approval or denial but he definitely was thorough and clear and made me less nervous. My hearing was Dec. 13, 2017 and it is now only February so I should know the outcome in a month or so but either way I am glad I had him and how he treated me making my experience as pleasant as possible. I was very very nervous and he didn't judge and answered any questions I had not making me feel inferior. I was supposed to have Judge Weakley but got switched to Judge Rodriguez and from what I'm reading I am very grateful for that. He really was understanding and seemed fair.

So he decided to deny me KEEPING my ssid stating my mental and physical impairments have improved. I'm sorry, you graduated from which medical school? You said o don't have a.diagnosis of fibromyalgia, look at my file when I was first fully favorable in 2009!!!!! I can't take new medications, they make me suicidal. You didn't have all of my medical records from the past 3 1/2 years even though the CD I was given plainly had my doctors information on it you just never got it and made your decision based on that. My doc had faxed it SEVERAL TIMES and also called numerous time to make sure you go it but no one would ever answer the phone or return the calls when they left messages asking you to. 2 herniated discs, fibromyalgia, cyclothmia major depression disorder, general anxiety, agorophobia, insomnia, daily mihraines, bone spirs, scoliosis, disc space narrowing, degenerating disc disease, diabetes mellitus, neuropathy..... yet you claimed all of my conditions have "improved". I didn't have half these when I first got supplemental security!!! You were pissy as soon as I walked in, the "vocational expert" was old enough to be my great grandmother and she kept falling asleep during the hearing!!!! I lnow uour name and I'm almost positive I've been before you before which if that's the case you broke the law by seeing me again. I have appealed your decision. Get my files from my doctors. You gave the doctors files you did have little to no weight, you gave ssi docs little to no weight. So how the hell are you qualified to make medical decisions?? You're not. Just because I'm currently 37 year old that doesn't me I can work or that my body miraculously repaired itself. You sir are a joke. You penalize me for not having representation when no one would take my case because I continue to have my benefits come to me while waiting to see you, you penalized me for going to my doctors and taking my medications as prescribed, had I not been taking my medications as prescribed and not seen my doctors as ordered you would have penalized me then. There is no winning with you you had no business seeing my case for a second or third time and my next lawyer I get I will mention a lawsuit against you for what you have done.

Judge Ehrman has not ruled on my case yet. However. Honestly regardless of his decision. I owe him to say thank you for making it an easy experience at the hearing. I was extremely nervous. Scared even. However as soon as he greeted me with respect and started to explain the process in a pleasant way I was much calmer. Judge Ehrman stayed very calm. Patient respectful and very kind through out the hearing. Thank you very much.

Judge Ehrman has not made a decision yet on my case. However regardless of his decision. I have to say he was such a professional, pleasant, clear, understanding. And just a very nice person through out the trial. I was extremely nervous and kind of scared but as soon as he greeted me and started to explain the process in a very calling way. O felt much better. Very patient and great person. I owe him to say thank you for making it an easy experience.

I thought for sure I was going to lose my hearing, I went into the room with no confidence what so ever. I suffer from PTSD, GAD, depression, memory loss, chronic pain and I have IBS from a near fatal accident. When I met Judge Neel she was very nice and very personable, she put me at ease when I sat down and her questions were asked in a manner that wasn't intrusive or very hard to answer, I got confused a couple of times because I don't process information like I used to and formulating words is still a daunting task for me. I can't remember how long the hearing lasted? but I was happy to hear she would approve me with an amended onset date, now I'm just waiting on the decision letter and approval letter. A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders even though I still have a wait time before I recieve benefits but I guess I'll just have to keep making it day by day and taking it one day at a time like I have been and continue to try to get better. I'm also very happy that I'll be able to have my severe neck pain addressed and will be able to see my Psychiatrist Dr. Pillai again (I had health insurance but couldn't afford it anymore and lost all my benefits), now that I can get approved for Medicaid, it'll be a year before I can get Medicare. Judge Neel is a really great Judge, she is fair and compassionate and she doesn't want to see me fail so I'm hoping one day I can go back to school and work. We'll see where my road to recovery takes me. So please don't rely on these negative ratings of her, if your claim is legit, your medical file is strong and you are truly disabled I wouldn't worry about having her as your judge. Thank you Judge Neel, you changed my whole outlook on my future and now I feel like I have a chance at life again.

I was nervous about judge Morris because the only comments I saw for him were in Spanish and did not detail how he was. When I got in the room with him, I was nervous, but he explained everything so that I could understand and he was very attentive to my case and my lawyer. I just got my approval letter two days ago. I feel like judge Morris understood the severity of my case and understood that I would not be able to work with the problems that I have.

Had a hearing on August 31st, 2017 with this judge. He seemed to be a real nice judge didn't down me or talk smart to me. I hope he make the right decision because am unable to work because of my health problems. I am in pain everyday and some days are worse. I wish I could have talked more about my health problems but once I get in front of someone I freeze up and don't say much. I felt like I should have said more but my anxiety was bothering me that morning and I couldn't think. I have a herniated disk in my neck a lot of bone spurs and I have a nerve touching my spine. I have high blood prssure, high cholestrol, have lower arthritis in my back followed with bad back spasms, I struggle with depression and sleep. I am on a cane due to my legs and feet hurt me. I can't sit for periods on long time. My feet swell , have migraines everyday. There are more stuff that is wrong with me just to much to put on here..there is no way I could work ever again .so I hope this judge is fair and makes the right decision..

I seen this judge on 7/24/17 he was really nice I think he can tell I was nervous and my anxiety started to kick in he was really patient when I was answering my questions and the vocational guy on the phone said a few things I was a little confused but I think I understand what he was saying. I wonder how long it takes him to make his decision it’s starting to make me anxious cause I told him everything and last time in 2015 I got a paper it said I was disabled but that I was denied so that really confuses me it really don’t make sense but I hope that this time they approve me so that it can be done wit already.

I had my hearing 24 May 2017 with Melissa J Mcintosh. This was my first and only hearing since initially being denied 2 years ago when I first filed. I have just been waiting on the hearing. Mrs. Mcintosh is very nice, friendly, respectful and courteous. I was not expecting it, but at the end of the hearing, she even thanked me for my service to our country. That in itself is worth a star! She made me feel at ease through the entire hearing. I don't get nervous in front of people anyway but just the same, it was great having such a nice Judge. My 5 stars have nothing to do with being approved/disapproved because I have not received her decision yet since the hearing was just a few days ago.

I had my hearing with Glen Watkins this month. After reading all these negative post I was terrified of this man which caused me tremendous stress and severe anxiety attacks for the past year. But when I got into the hearing he was very polite, and really didn't discuss my medical issues. He had my medical records in front of him so they spoke for themselves. The only thing he asked of me was to change my date of disability to the date I turned 55.I have been informed by my advocate things went really well and that she was 98% percent sure I won my case. This judge was not mean in fact he was very polite and treated me with respect. And this is not a fraudulent post. I am a real person who honestly believes this judge does not deserve all this criticism.

Judge seemed very friendly during my husband's hearing. His case was denied because this judge did not feel that my husband's mental issues met the criteria. How do you judge someone by asking them simple yes or no questions in 30 minutes. Can you look at someone's face and tell if they are having a panic attack , anxiety attack or are depressed to the point where they are having suicidal thoughts ? Mental illness has no face...but he felt qualified to judge with no medical degree. These judges should have to spend a FULL day with each individual before deciding on their case.

Judge: James C Cartledge

Fair and understands the law and Rules. Know your file and be prepared to advise him which medical vocational rule applies to your over 50 year old claimant and why. Make sure you can point to a specific exhibit that supports your theory. I had a tough case recently but I was super prepared and he was going to rule against my client until I pointed out the inconsistencies in the adjudicator's original denial and pointed to medical records that supported my theory that the claimant satisfied a medical vocational rule. I had to use the vocational expert on cross examination to show the claimant did not have transferable skills. I was looking pretty bleak during the hearing but I kept fighting and fighting and the ALJ relented and entered a fully favorable. So, moral of the story, you have to really know your file and be prepared to spoon feed the judge your theory with supporting medical evidence and vocational testimony.

To whom it may concern, In my Herat of hearts I believe the judge did not take the time to see the BIG PICTURE. I'm in need and feeling hopeless and helpless. Back in April 2014 was my first denial. Then another, then I went before the judge. That time I had a lawyer that I never spoke with or had any communication till 5 minutes before my hearing. I went in and then another denial. My denial said because I was seeing a PA instead of a DR that a PA are not qualified enough and many more things. I have PTSD due to being beaten and molested starting at age 4. I have flashbacks all the time. I have severe depression and it's hard to leave my house, she also gave no weight to my therapist saying how bad of shape I'm in and can't work. In 2013 is when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. From then I tried to work another full year, in which I had to quit due to my pain, and my depression. Then I was diagnosed with very high bp, high cholesterol, gout, carpal tunnel and arthritis in my hands which makes it so I can't open or carry anything. If we leave the house I need to take an electric scooter because I can only walk for a few minutes. At home I need to put my feet above heart level several times a day due to all my swelling. How could I possibly work when I need to do this? Not to mention if I have to type or text I can only do it with one finger. I am now considered to be morbidly obese because I can barely walk due to the fibromyalgia, and my hypothyroidism. I can only sit or stand for just a few minutes st a time. Because I can't work and I don't have any money from disability, my pain has worsened and I continue to gain weight. I have gone from about 20 pills a day to about 4 because I have no money. I have been through repeated withdrawals. And to add to all of this I now have diabetes. So my day consist of laying around in pain and crying. Since I had to leave my job I've lost my car, I've come close to losing my house several times. We've had to max out credit cards for food and my meds. I would prefer to be working and making money instead of fighting like crazy trying to get a disability check of a big whopping $430 a month. I couldn't in a million years know a person that would quit their job to sit at home for that amount. My work credits are going to expire and I don't have time to start all over. My case in at the appeals council for review. I did qualify for them to expedite my case, however that's not gonna help me and my family if I get another denial. I need help, we need help. So many people deserve it and are denied. From what I read my judge denies most of her cases. I am in support groups for fibromyalgia. I've met many women who were approved with just fibromyalgia with seeing a PA and having no other diagnosis. And we're approved in the same building I was denied. How can cases be on a pick and choose basis? I have no more fight left in me. After my denial by the judge, I was close to suicide. I'm not sure how I can handle another denial. I'm hurting and I'm desperate. I can't even afford to see my PA anymore. Someone has got to please look over my case and to be a little more human when they are reviewing a case. Not everyone is looking to screw the system and live off of a few bucks. When my credits expire I'm done I can't do anything else. This appeal is my last chance. I just can't keep being a burden to my husband and my adult kids. I just don't know what else to say but please help me. I've sent letters to my congressman and to the mayors office, the governor, and to the Division of Disability Determination. I know there are tons of cases waiting to be reviewed, I'm not better or more deserving, im just a person in a lot of pain who's work credits are going to expire. I need a miracle! A fully favorable decision. Can't someone somewhere help??? Like maybe my denial judge.. Angela L Neel Thanks for taking the time to read this. Desperately yours, N S Sent from my iPad

I really felt comfortable with this judge. My lawyer on the other had was terrible, spoke to him only time for 3 minutes before we went in and he did not give some of my medical records to the judge until morning of hearing. I have tests my docters want to do but cant afford them due to all the money spent getting my medical records. It is hard for a judge to do thier job if the lawyer doesnt do his. Now ii have to wait until Nov. For another hearing. I want my spouse to be able to go in there with me because i just cant remember things and my lawyer didnt help at all. I told my lawyer i need to put my feet up cause i felt i will pass out-nope. Well after hearing passed out, my spouse got me in a chair by hisself. It gets me upset the government is paying for college, but i am not old enough for home care. At this point its a desition between bills/food and docts/medicine. I dont want to die and my husband everyday wonders if today is the day. HELP

A recent study showed that nationwide, 34% of Imaging reports have different Findings versus Impressions. The impressions will leave out parts of the more descriptive findings. Judge Torres must not know this, or maybe he does? He only read and referenced the Impressions in all of my MRIs and x-rays. He assumed I was working when there was income shown on my tax refund, when I had not worked. He deliberately misconstrued a form my doctor had completed (that incidentally the Department of Education understood and thus approved my disability, discharging my student loan debt); stated it contradicted my doctor's RFC and then that gave Torres justification to give NO weight to my treating doctor's opinion! You would think a judge would ask for clarification from the physician, my attorney or me-but no, I did not know any of this until I read his decision-he had decided before I even walked into his courtroom. So be prepared for this judge-have your attorney point out in his pre hearing brief items on your imaging report findings. Explain any discrepancies, etc in your medical records. Although my attorney claimed to know this judge and "gone up against him" many times, evidently my lawyer was not prepared. Now I head to the Appeals Council, alone or with a different attorney, but what a waste of time! Looking at the other reviews-you either love him (if you are one of the 28% he approves) or hate him. But he did not do his job, he was not thorough...maybe the other commentators had better attorneys?

I believe she is a fair and intelligent judge. She listened to my entire case and paid attention when my attorney or I spoke. I believe she had no preconceived notions about my case either. I had gone before Ouellette before and the experience was night and day. The occupational expert was also very knowledgeable whereas Ouellette's expert didn't listen to a word, and acted as though he could have singlehandedly solved Florida's unemployment problem.

Judge: Amber Downs
5/15/2016 11:42:28 AM

100 percent disabled veteran who went in front of Mrs. Downs. After the hearing she is attempting to enter an opinion that goes against everything my files show in attempt to deny me benefits. The fact she is entering this after the hearing so my lawyer can not cross examine this random expert shows how sneaky she is. Looking at her numbers she approves close to the least amount of people in both states that she operates. According to the law ALJ judges are suppose to give great weight to VA disability findings. Instead, she is looking for any way to deny me. I have been in contact with state legislators who are investigating the matter. It is a sad world when a veteran risks their life for a country and returns a shell of what they once were only to have to fight for a judge to believe in an already VA determined 100 percent disability. This needs to change and I will help change this law. We need new laws to support our wounded veterans and ALJ judges need to be held accountable for going against the SSDI veteran laws. This practice is a disgrace on veterans. What she did in my opinion is a disgrace and I am glad the state is looking into this matter to help other veterans in the future. We deserve better. Good luck to anyone seeing this judge who is a veteran..you have an uphill battle.

I agree with the comments here. Judge Oullette is a bias and unfair judge. I also won a appeal with a favorable decision, but had to go back to his court room. He was upset and off record stated things. He denied my case and this time took out of context and rewritten incomplete statements from my medical reports to serve his denial objectives. Also has discredited my doctors. He ignored again and dismissed my medical condition and medications that I take. My doctors are reputable with good credential. Having problems appealing because of his prejudice & bias decision. Something should be done to find justice to the disable. Will taken it to upper courts.

Judge: Richard E Ouellette
3/30/2016 8:32:52 AM

Judge R. Oullete is not a fair judge. He denies everyone. He was upset when I won that first appeal that my case was reverse & sent back to his court room. He stated things off record (wonder if he has done this to anyone else) stating if he had all medical reports his decision would of been different. The situation is he did have them all. Still denied my case and wrote his statement in a way that if I appeal this case again it would be unfavorable. He took little bits of my medical record just enough to confuse the appellate judges & omitted parts that would prove my disability, so that appellate judges will not reverse his decision. There is no Justice here even if there is evidence supporting my disability.... He has discredit prestige doctors whose backgrounds and experience should of been taken into consideration. Judge R. Oullete for my understanding has a one track mind in a denial records no matter if the person is disable in wheel chair unable to do anything as well if there's medical record stating your disable.

I was represented by a very astute lawyer who arranged for all the pertinent information to be mentioned and covered during my day in court. Mr. William Hemmer represented me. Judge Torres listened to my testimony and I felt like I was the first client he ever had. He never seemed to be tainted or opinionated towards my condition. I felt heard and understood. I am pleased to say after waiting 3 more months I received a Fully Favorable decision from Judge Torres. He manipulated my son. Had him sign something before the hearing started, and wouldn't let me see it. When I asked my son what he signed, he replied "my name". I asked what the paper said, and he just shrugged. he had no idea. Judge Torres asked my son if he went to regular school or special ed. My son replied "regular school". Judge Torres asked how many kids were in his class? And my son counted on his fingers, whispered his classmates names, and replied "8". Judge Torres said that that sounded like special ed to him. and my son replied "that's right!" My son was 21 years old at the time. Judge Torres wrote a scathing denial letter. He stated that I manipulated my son's pediatrician that he had for 17 years to say what I wanted him to say. He gave 'very little weight' to the school system, ESE teachers and specialists. I tried to speak up, and when I did, Judge Torres stated "let the record show that "I" had interrupted the proceedings". I tried to explain how my son needed constant supervision and had impaired safety awareness. It didn't matter at all. Judge Torres's voc rehab rep in court stated my son could work heavy construction. Well, since the hearing, the state of florida vocational rehab has dismissed my son from their program, stating that he requires too much direct supervision to be employable. and voc rehab suggested my son pursue SS and services from the Agency for Person's with disabilities. go figure. and he was approved immediately for APD and medicaid. THis judge needs to go. He is horrible. ANy lawyer I spoke to rolled their eyes when I told them his name. I was just diagnosed with cancer. My son has NOTHING if something happens to me. He can't work. He has no money. No means to thrive. What is he supposed to do? I have to sign this annonymous, as we may be referred back to this horrible man on appeal.

I went before Judge Neel in April of 2015 in Tampa. I had a very high-paying career but unfortunately I have been unable to work since March of 2011. My medical bills are frequent and high, and I am on or have been on nearly a dozen medications. Some days it is a severe struggle just to exist. I was rapidly losing hope of receiving the assistance I need. When I received the notification of my hearing and that I was going before Judge Neel, I knew almost nothing about her except her record. In person I found Judge Neel to be extremely attentive, very compassionate, truly fair, and she seemed genuinely interested in my well-being. She told me that she wanted me to take proper care of myself and to improve my eating habits and to try and find a way to get in some exercise: all very excellent advice. Judge Neel clearly takes her position as a guardian of the SSDI trust very seriously, and I was extremely gratified that she issued a fully favorable ruling in my case. Judge Neel may not realize it, but because of her compassion for my disabilities and her willingness to help me, she is not only helping me to manage my issues, but she is helping the tremendous burden that my condition places on my family. Thank you, Judge Neel.

What makes a Great, Ethical Judge is not based on the number of cases he's approved. It's founded on a Judges ability to fairly assess the claimants entire situation, going beyond a stack of paper documents. Judge Johnston understands the invisible details of a suffering person, that many other Judges fail to observe. THIS is what makes him an excellent human being in the clouded 'realm of disability rights'. Justice is done when a right decision has been made and Johnston is by far the best Judge in this district and beyond.

I have a court date may 26,2015 for my daughter, I have heard alot, he hard on people or he never approves anyone at all, or he cold hearted, well I'm not for sure what type of person he is, but I'm sure he's doing the best he know how , and if my daughter doesn't get approved, well I will keep trying, I try to put myself in other people shoe, I'm sure it's not easy for him also,to make decisions for so many people, believe me it may seem like he cold hearted, but I promise you, he is a sweet heart deep down inside

He is a sorry excuse as a judge. Look at the article about him using an old woman's handicap sticker when he is fine. He doesn't care about any of our well beings. I have a disabling non curable disease and he denies me. Makes a lot of sense to me. I hope he is fired for being a scumbag.

Judge: Glen H. Watkins
10/28/2014 12:45:12 PM

Judge Watkins will deny you. This is true 70% of the time for Hearings that are actually held. He can do an entire Hearing without even making eye contact with anyone in the room. Pathetic.

Judge: Robert Ballieu
9/20/2014 8:22:56 AM

Was a very nice Judge. When I first filed a motion to skip the hearing and just get a decision based on the medical and other evidence, he denied the motion and then 3 weeks later he reversed the decision and amended my disability claim and approved it without a hearing. Upon reading his decision 2 weeks later I found that he is a very thorough Judge and very fair and intelligent. By him reversing his earlier order it showed me that he is a very Judicious person and Judge and he examines every aspect of your disability file and by his decision it saved me another 4 months of time that I would have waited on a hearing to arrive at the same conclusion after having waited already 11 months..

Judge: Charles J Arnold
9/15/2014 3:46:19 PM

Guess he needs glasses or his competency level isnt there gives very little weight to dds drs but says my medical records indicate my limitations are more severe than dds drs say, then just finds me unfavorable. You need to retire rather than collecting pay from disability insurance just to deny people! I rate your approval rating a total thumbs down.

Judge Johnston was very kind and understanding of my situation.

Judge: Sr. Mc Donnell
8/1/2014 3:20:27 PM

No, I did not forget to rate him. He deserves a "0" rating. Judge Mcdonnell should be removed immediately! He denied my appeal for disability, but only after deciding to completely ignore the report of the disability doctor who saw me and admitted I was unable to work and instead chose a to ask another disability doctor, who might I add had never seen me or evaluated me, to perjure himself by stating that I was able to work to the same exact extent from before my condition appeared (both the judge and the doctor are probably paid off by social security to deny people; that's the only thing I can think of). He then went on to say he denied me by misinterpreting a figurative statement that one of my old quacks of a doctor wrote as literal. I figuratively walked out of his office angry, but I was literally being pushed in a wheelchair. He used that statement to discredit me when I said I could only get around in a wheelchair, which then made him discredit everything else I said, which then made him discredit everything my entire team of doctors has said. It will now be years I don't have before I can get an appeal to his decision, so this judge has LITERALLY GIVEN ME A DEATH SENTENCE BECAUSE OF HIS OWN GREED, CORRUPTION, AND INCOMPETENCE.

St. Petersburg Times (now known as the Tampa Bay Times) article from January 26, 2007 - "Handicapped Parking Space Filled by Judge" - I didn't find out about this article until after the staged hearing I had, in 2011, in front of him. The hearing was staged, like the one three years before, with ALJ McDonnell. I know that my so called attorney was in cahoots with this judge, as well. She intentionally threw the case, and a few other things, like making my witnesses wait in the lobby. I was not allowed witnesses. She had me sign something, right before going into the hearing, don't even know what it was, but, whatever it was, it was used against me. This judge also ignored my documentation from a well seasoned infectious disease doctor, and used the Social Security doctors from the previous hearing, (this was supposed to be a fresh new hearing, according to the so called attorney...another lie), who saw me for five minutes, and who are paid to say no. He sent me a scathing 14 page denial letter, using the "not credible" fairytale. Judge Torres was parking in handicapped spots, with a placard that belonged to an 86 year old woman from Bradenton. I consider him to be not credible, and according to Social Security, I also have no recourse against this judge, either. YOU, Judge Torres, are not credible!!!!!!! (Notice I didn't need to use 14 pieces of paper to tell YOU that!) I will not rate this judge, other than to say, "Why is he still on the bench??"

Debbie Thompson
Judge: Sr. Mc Donnell
6/4/2014 9:21:23 PM

Judge McDonnell was documented to have denied zero cases in 2008, however, he denied mine. He was extremely nasty and cruel, and his contempt toward me was obvious. He went as far as to have the stenographer quit typing, in the middle of the staged hearing, so that he could say to me, in front of my 3 witnesses, and I quote, "Going to Kathy Castor's office was nothing more than a political stunt." I had gone to my member of Congress, about the way the Social Security Administration was bullying me, but, what I didn't get to tell Judge McDonnell (I was so upset, that I broke down in the courtroom, which he seemed to enjoy) was, that I went to Congressman Young, first, since his office was just a few blocks away from my house, and found out that I was not in his district. Judge McDonnell ignored all my documentation, and took great pleasure in making sure that my young daughter and I ended up homeless, while I had a picc line in, for intravenous antibiotics, for late stage Neuroborreliosis, and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. It took 40 years and over 70 doctors, before finally getting a diagnosis. I basically heard "in your head" til I was almost dead. And to add insult to injury, cruel and inhumane denial by him. Thanks to him, my daughter (straight A student, cheerleader) got to spend her seventh grade year in the Salvation Army Emergency Shelter in south St. Pete. I was so relieved to finally get my case in front of a judge (I used to think that judges were impartial...how naive was I?), and thought I would finally get some help. Instead, from all this abuse, my family has been destroyed, and I am left to die, a slow painful death. I'm not going quietly, though. This level of cruelty and corruption must be exposed, before I go. I have nothing left. So, who is REALLY guilty of pulling a "political stunt", Judge McDonnell????

Case Approved
Judge: Laurel J Greene
4/4/2014 8:03:01 PM

Judge Greene is a wonderful person with a kind soul, and a very broad knowledge of what it means for her clients to be disabled. She listens with informed interest to every word the disabled applicant has to say, an gives the truth the weight it deserves. She is soft-spoken, but very professional, and is not afraid to break protocol once in a while to answer a question or allow the applicant to make a statement if it is pertinent to the facts at hand. She is the best of the best, and if you are lucky enough to have your case heard by her, tell your story, be truthful and listen to your counsel. Don't be freaked out by the vocational expert's testimony about the hypotheticals, as Judge Greene understands everything about your claim before the hearing, and as long as there are no contradictions in your testimony, she will give it equal weight and perhaps rule in your favor. Biggest suggestion? TELL THE TRUTH, look her in the eye when speaking to her because she has earned the respect of the position as your ALJ. If you have a valid case, you will be taken care of in a very timely manner. Just do not confuse her kindness for weakness. She is a very strong and informed judge, who understands the pain you are in. No need to put on a "show" or try to fake restraint when you feel pain. Be yourself. When you first speak with Judge Greene, all your stress will melt away and the rest takes care of itself. Judge Greene is a kind, decent and wonderful soul.

This judge did in fact say clearly I am disabled in January 2014 but now its April of 2014 and I still have heard nothing about my case. I am getting worse in my conditions and now I am getting anxiety attacks from not being able to purchase basic everyday items. When I went in front of this judge he asked what he needed yo and kept switching around and said we will come back to that question and didn't. I really think I was forgotten about. All judges should have two weeks maximum to make a decision. If not be penalized for not doing so. Also when calling to get answers the lady who answers the phone don't even know the panel is!

Judge: Richard E Ouellette
3/30/2014 5:19:09 AM

Judge Ouellette is a mostly fair Judge but very judgmental on appearance, He calls it as he see's it. I lost with him when I should have won but I blame my atty for not presenting the evidence. I didn't like that he stated that I attempted to join the Marine Corps but was "Unsuccessful". He did not have enough information on my military history to make that biased assumption and it had nothing to do with a dicission on my disability, it did not need to be said. I did my active duty enlistment almost complete and in the infantry at that, I got an "Honorable Discharge with Medical Conditions" when I attempted to re-enlist 3 years into my contract of a 3 year enlistment.

I have not had you for a Judge but I am rating you for those who have. How do I request you for a Judge because I am suffering from PTSD and BI-Polar disorder, if I get a bad Judge, it won't be good. I can not go back to work because I will probably hurt someone and if I am forced to stay home because of the denial from a Judge then I would be depressed enough to hurt myself. Do you know how bad I feel not being able to buy my children stuff because I am in pain and mentally can't work, I feel like a crappy parent, my children need shoes and I can not afford to even buy them. Then I wait all the time to see a Judge, and I do have the worst luck humanly possible,so I will get the Judge who hates life, disabled people, and mentally ill people. Now my children get to go without even longer because of someone elses poor and unfair decision. Please tell all of us who truly can't work and need this money desperately, how to request you for our Judge. Thank you for caring and listening!

An experienced attorney
Judge: Robert Ballieu
11/22/2013 10:03:07 AM

The judge is very well prepared, very polite, runs a good hearing, appears to have no "agenda" to deny or award. Know your medications! Does the initial questioning on background and work history, then lets attorney do the rest of the hearing. Appears to be a really nice person, but obviously from his approve-deny record, not going to award weak cases. Even though I'd love a "liberal" judge for my clients, at least give me a "conservative" who let's you present the case and be a real and independent judge - not, as some do, regard themselves as the opposing side. I'd be happy to be in any courtroom - Judge Judy to the Supreme Court - with this jurist.

Judge: Wallace E Weakley
6/22/2013 11:46:45 AM

This judge apparently had already made a decision before my hearing began. The first question asked was if I had a representative? Why should that matter if you are honest about your claim? He was also surprised at the types and amount of medications I was taking on a daily basis, all of which are prescribed by a physician. Why was I not examined by a physician of the SSDA who only read my report and a decesion was made on that opinion. I feel the decesion was made on my case was biased and prejudicial. Apparently working all your life, paying in, and now not being able to receive what is rightfully yours doesn't work. Shame on you and the entire system.

I just had a hearing before this judge on the 15th and I am so glad I did not read any of this beforehand. It is stressful enough going through this process and then waiting on a decission from what seems to be a very unfair Judge. I have to say though that he was not disrepectful in anyway and was very professional throughout the hearing. I can only hope that this man does the right thing.

Judge: Richard E Ouellette
4/19/2013 11:33:24 AM

They need to get rid of this person. He judges you before you even meet him. All the lawyers will tell you how unfair he is and he feels people who apply for disability are lazy and worthless. That is coming from lawyers who have dealt with him. They need to clean slate and get rid of these old morons who have no clue what people are dealing with. If your medical doctor knows what you are going through, that should be enough to make a fair judgement. Karma will come back to this man in the end.

Judge: Wallace E Weakley
4/2/2013 11:01:39 AM

Judge Weakley is generally pleasant. Will usually ask if the medical is up to date. If you have significant medical that is not in the file you might well get a postponement until such time as it is in the file and you will get dressed down in front of your client. He will usually ask for an opening statement/theory of the case. He will do fairly thorough questioning of the claimant himself. Usually schedules hearings for about 45 min and don't be surprised if he's ready early. In addition to being a lawyer he has a background in mechanical engineering.

Judge: Wallace E Weakley

This man here is a very good Judge. Got to have all your documents in order for him....

2/20/2013 8:14:17 AM

This judge is cold-hearted and has no empathy for mental illness claimants. He not only called three psychiatrist and a social security psychologist, two primary doctors liars but me as well. His problem is since he can't see the illness physically then you can work. I believe he wants me to go out in the workplace and have one of my mental breakdowns whereby I hurt someone or vice-versa for him to see that a person that suffers with bipolar I & II are very moody people who can't always control themselves. I also suffer with manic depression, PSTD, social anxiety, anxiety, claustophic, panic attacks, OCD, high blood pressure, asthma, bronchitis, heart disease, etc. I am a 50 year old black female who has worked 30 years of her life always giving and caring for others. I have attempted suicide twice because I am my wits end. It took almost 4 years for this unfair system to tell me no I don't qualify for sdi in which I paid into the system. I guess, I will have to prove to this ### and the rest of them that I refuse to let others come here and live off of me when they never worked a day in this country.

Judge: Glen H. Watkins
2/19/2013 9:00:57 AM

Judge: Richard E Ouellette
2/14/2013 10:55:44 PM

I agree with the other comments.....this Judge does not understand apparently what he is reading....he discredited my doctor (which is one of the best in his field)basically because I was not seeing him anymore.....because he RETIRED..said the last report was old and went with the new doctors report (there was only 3 months between them)..said I hadn't seen my original doctor enough for him to know me.....crap, been seeing him for 10 years.....and he contradicts what he says in one paragraph to another. OH, and the doctors that social security has are clowns also....they re-arrange your interview sentences in a way that changes the whole meaning. Yes, there is no way this judge should have denied my case. Well, I am going to submit my findings to upper government and have them look into this matter. This Judge should be FIRED....

Judge: Glen H. Watkins
2/11/2013 7:09:18 PM

While I have experienced the same lingering feelings of frustration and concerns as many claimants do during the seemingly long wait times for a hearing, I am relieved to say my confidence with the entire process was ultimately bolstered when my hearing began with Judge Watkins, who clearly demonstrated he had already reviewed the facts in evidence prior to my hearing and proceeded to conduct the hearing in not only a professional manner, but with a calming demeanor as well, all in a very impressive effort to efficiently clarify the facts before him. While waiting months for my hearing, I had let myself become too distracted with overall claim statistics, when in the end, I am now more convinced than ever, the facts ultimately do prevail thanks to those such as Judge Watkins, who no doubt has a responsibility on his shoulders which most fair minded people would not likely enjoy having, if trying to fill his shoes. Simply said, Judge Watkins is certainly fair (but of course a fair hearing will not change the facts for which any claimant must rightfully rely upon to prevail.)

This judge is totally unable to be objective in his decision making. He fixates on aspects of the claims that are secondary and seems to think he has personal knowledge of persons character. Something terrible must have happened to him in his past to make him like this. I know he doesn't believe it exists by he may be suffering from PTSD. I can honestly say that This Judge takes things out of context, hears only what he wants to hear, dismisses what he doesn't want to hear, uses only information that is detrimental to the case, discards or takes out of context information that is beneficial, and seems to create opinions about one's personal life without knowing them at all. In my opinion this Judge is a disgrace to his profession.

Judge: Christopher Messina
8/25/2012 12:01:56 PM

I am an attorney, and I must say that this ALJ is incompetent. He took more than 90 days to finally make a decision on my case, and did not want to approve the fee agreement without giving any reason for it. He then asked me to write a fee petition which he did not want to approve. He further stated that I was only going to get one payment that would cover claimant and all of her dependents, which is against Social Security standards. An attorney gets pay for each separate claim, his client and the auxiliaries (dependents). I had to appeal his decision on this matter to the Chief Regional, and won. I finally got all the attorney fees that were due. This case was seen in January and I finally got paid in August. He needs to be instructed on Social Security guidelines.

although judge edison wasnt my judge I understand your frustration my hearing was june 20th and I havent recieved a decision letter in the mail yet. My conditions is left leg ampuation, psoriatic arthritis, and post tramatic stress syndrome. now if that doesnt qualify as disabled after i worked many years in the workforce then what would? I often think the same thing you guys do. what does it take to get approved roll in there on a hospital bed or a wheelchair. however my judge was extremely nice and seemed interested in my case but the low approval rates they have speak for themselves

7/30/2012 4:53:14 PM

This ALJ barely even looked at me during my hearing (June 2012) and never reviewed any medical findings after July 2011, which confirm my diagnosis. Also he basically said I was a liar and therefore denied me any disability benifits at all. I am on 19 prescribed medications, I can barely function while taken them, they have impaired my thinking skills. I also have hyper somnia, means I sleep for hours at any given time of day, but somehow that evidence was not in his report. If I was pushed in to the hearing in a wheel chair with drool hanging from my mouth, maybe he would believe me. But since I am an upbeat person ( to hide all the crap on the inside)he sees me as functional. I have good days and I have bad days , some days I have no pain and other days all I have is pain. I'm a mixed bag-who in their right mind would hire a person like myself? I can't sit or stand for too long, i can only do minimal light non-thinkinh kind of work, I will fall asleep on the job, I will forget the task I've been given and wander the office. I would get fired within a week, that or get that special baseball helmet for my head. this man infuriates me

very nice judge, never once said a negative word to me. now its just a waiting game for the decision. I have plenty medical records to prove my case but i really believe that in alot of these cases people are in fact disabled but the judge just doesnt wanna hear it. which is wrong in so many ways.i mean when you look at some of these judges approval rates in the low 20% range you pretty much know your chance of getting it is over.

amend amend amend. Don't go in expected a Fully Favorable decision because even IF he's inclined to pay your case, he'll ask you to amend. You can ask for a different date, and he may be amenable to that. But amend amend amend. He also doesn't appear to believe that psych cases are real. Denies denies denies. Make your case strong. Must have good testimony- he likes to manipulate claimant testimony. If he rephrases what claimant said- make sure claimant knows what he/she actually said and don't let ALJ manipulate the testimony.

Hottest looking ALJ I've seen. Very cute french sounding accent and a nice demeanor as well.

Judge Messina, I must say seemed to be very attentive and compassionate towards myself and my disability case. He listened and made me feel very comfortable and at ease even though I was extremely nervous! My attorney on the other hand, my God was he awful, but I have to give all the Glory and Honor to God for placing me in the hands of Judge Messina, may God bless you sir!

This is a very fair Judge but he expects you to have your case prepared. He is willing to listen as long as the Medical Documentation is there.

I do not think this judge had enough info on my case in Febuary, 2011. Plus my attorney did not say but one line before I walked in and that was, This Judge and I do not get along. He, Judge Torres, felt I could work secondary, part time. I had to come to Ohio for medical. Episodic Motor Weakness is what the doctors and neurologist here, have found. If the doctors at the clinics there would have sent me to the proper place, I know this Judge would have disabaled me. POINT: Make sure you know your lawyer and make sure you get the right doctors. I am still in reconsideration but had to transfer to Ohio. The sad part of this is even the judge has guidelines he has to follow. Judge Torres is a fair Judge. It is the Social Security Attorney who did not complete his job, nor the doctors in Englewood, Florida.
