If I could give this pos a 0 star I would. To everyone who is waiting i pray you don't get this so called man. I am 33 years old, suffering from ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia, g.a.d, osteoarthritis (multiple sites), and the list goes on. In the hearing this "judge" seemed to be very interested in what I had doing on and seemed genuinely concerned of my health. It took him not even 30 days to deliver a denial to me. I was unable to get a functional assessment done due to the area I live in not having many options to get it done and the few places you can are booked out for 1 1/2-2 years, therefore he had to go off my dr's notes alone. Now even though my Dr's notes all state that I am limited in functions, they do not (as most don't) go into specific details as to exactly what I can and can not do (how long I can sit/stand, how much I can/can't lift ect.) And because of that he denied me. He agrees that I have limitations but does not feel in his opinion they prevent me from being able to work. I can not stand or sit more than 30-45 mins without having issues, when I do sit I have to constantly fluctuate my weight around and even still after 30-45 mins (depending on the day) I start having severe pain (hips) as well as numbness & pain in my feet & calves. I am unable to stand long enough to even cook for myself 95% of the time. This guy's numbers show that he does not like to give people SSI/SSDI, and because of my age made it an even easier decision for this guy. My past work experience is a cook, I have worked for a very long time... Sometimes 2 and 3 jobs at once, I have paid into SSI/SSDI, and yet I have been denied. If I could work please believe me when I say I would. This man should not be a judge doing this work, as he obviously doesn't understand disability. I am devastated right now as the last 2 years I have been fighting this case have been for nothing. I only have until 9/30 of this year before my work credits run out and have no choice but to start this whole process again from the beginning. So to anyone who is stuck going before this horrible man/judge you will be in my prayers. And I hope that no one in this man's family/close friends ends up with a disability and has to go before a judge that thinks and does things like he does and end up getting denied. Although if it did happen that way maybe he would open his eyes and actually learn to understand and have compassion and empathy for those of us he has denied and told that they don't have a disability.

This guy is the biggest pile of shit ever to breath. Liar and a disgusting pig. Dude changed my doctors records to suit his need to deny 70% of the Americans that need help. Garbage human that will be burning in hell someday, and deservedly so.

Appearing before judge Mastrangelo I found him to be extremely thorough and very professional. He listened intently to the evidence provided and addressed me directly with additional question's he needed information on. He is not a judge who simply "goes through the motions" he listens, asks many questions and treated me with dignity.
