Judge Rodriguez seemed very fair. I haven't received my letter so I can't say anything about approval or denial but he definitely was thorough and clear and made me less nervous. My hearing was Dec. 13, 2017 and it is now only February so I should know the outcome in a month or so but either way I am glad I had him and how he treated me making my experience as pleasant as possible. I was very very nervous and he didn't judge and answered any questions I had not making me feel inferior. I was supposed to have Judge Weakley but got switched to Judge Rodriguez and from what I'm reading I am very grateful for that. He really was understanding and seemed fair.

this judge is one of the worst. Most of his decisions are either dismissed or denied. In fact, he was taken off the bench for a while because his stats were in question. However, this dinosaur was brought back because the federal government is backed up and short staffed. During my hearing, he was very patronizing and sarcastic. In my "unfavorable decision" there was no specific reason for my denial. Just a lot of embellishment. Between this alj's bad reputation and my strong medical evidence, I might be able to get his decision remanded by the Appeals Council.

OMG. This guy is cruel. Two heart attacks, a stroke and epilepsy and he does not find me disabled after waiting almost three years! I paid into Social Security for almost 40 years. This Judge is cruel, unfair and there are many mistakes in his reasons why I am not disabled. That's right, good luck with this guy!!

I don't have my results yet, (just saw him yesterday) but regardless of his decision, I have to say he is wonderful, he totally understands what it's like feeling intimidated in court, he makes sure you understand every question asked, I wish there was more of him in this world

GOOD LUCK WITH THIS GUY!! IT SEEMED AS IF HE DECIDED MY CASE BEFORE I EVEN WALKED INTO THE HEARING ROOM. VERY UNFAIR DECISION! HE DENIED MY CLAIM, WHICH ANYONE WITH A REASONABLE MIND WOULD HAVE FOUND ME DISABLED BASED ON MY MEDICAL RECORDS. THE REASONING IN HIS DENIAL LETTER HAD MANY CONTRADICTIONS. HE ALSO IGNORED THE VE TESTIMONY THAT SAID THERE WERE NO JOBS I CAN PERFORM BASED ON MY ESTABLISHED RFC. I'M DEFINITELY APPEALING HIS DECISION!!

Had my hearing before Judge Edgell in May 2017. I was extremely nervous about the whole situation. She was very comforting and professional. Her questions pertained to my illnesses and prior work history. I left the hearing feeling that my opinions and concerns were listened to. Got my fully favorable decision in the mail yesterday. Very fair Judge. Thank you

I just had my hearing 4days ago and I must say although my anxiety kicked in during the questions that the judge was asking, he was very patient with me,he appeared to be very through and proffesional. Each question he asked was in a tone of concern. This judge considers everything as he should nd will allow time if all evidence that he need is not there, for you nd ur representation to get it, that let's me know he judges fairly, nd so I'm prepared for whatever decision he rules on, of course after waiting 3yrs I want it to be in my favor but like him I will consider everyone doctors, attorneys etc. Pray, favorable decision.

Everyone is nervous at the time of their hearing. Having Generalized Anxiety Disorder makes it that much worse. I feel the Judge took the time to listen to my Medical Conditions. It was much appreciated.

You were a very patient with my son that has adhd and other issues. We appeared to you from Jamestown New York court room via satellite in 2009. You denied the fee of the legal aid because basically you relax if they were taking advantage of low incom people . Well my son was reviewed and a few months later approved again in 2015. I can't find anyone to help me. Now 6 years later not from this case but from the decision made in 2009 social security is giving my sons back pay from the new case to them. Can you please direct me in th way I should go

Although I was nervous and wasn't sure what to expect, my interview went pretty good, only to BE DENIED 4 MONTHS later. This judge has NO idea how her decision has impacted my entire life. I'm ALWAYS IN PAIN, not to mention, i suffer from depression and now I have to wait 15-18 MORE MONTHS for this next appeal! Just because I'm "young" it doesn't take away from the FACT that I'll have 6 screws in my lower back forever. Ive been fighting my case for almost 4 yrs already, Its unfair and even tho I'm only 30, I ACTUALLY have a medical problem and SUFFER from chronic pains and Muscle Spasms. I didn't choose this life. Yet I get denied because I'm to young and I speak well enough to find a "sit down" job!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS !!!!! What does my age and my vocabulary have to do with my PAINNNNNN !!!!!! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME BECAUSE I DON'T DESERVE THIS !!! (Tears) IN JESUS NAME, MY CASE IS FAVORABLE !!!!!!!

I have no problem giving my name to this comment .. I went up in front of Judge Stacchini Jan 9th.. I found him to be a fair and honest person even though he denied my benefits ... I have read and read over his decision and it seems that he really was not educated in my disease ... I feel that he thinks I was lying under oath ... I would not do that ,,, he also said that there was no listing for Fibromyalgia when a listing was added July 2012. I do not blame this or take it personal as he is one man trying to make the right decisions as best he knows .. But I do feel he twisted my words against me . I would like to ask why would I fake the pain I live with all day and every day ... why would I give up a job that I was paid $25 per hour and my social life which was to rescue and train service dogs and search and rescue to just lay in bed all day in pain ? As a single parent of a schizophrenic son I would give anything to have my life back now all I see is darkness ... I worked for doctors and they wrote a letter but he never brought that up ..I have spent all my life savings paying the rent and bills for over a year if I could work why would I just spent my savings ? Last night my son took his meds and went to bed I got up to go to the bathroom when yet again my legs gave out I was on the floor for almost an hour before my service dog ( that I trained for others but when I got sick kept him for me ) could wake my son up to come and pick me up and carry me to bed ... I cried for hours feeling so helpless I will appeal but I feel that by that time I will be homeless as I am late on rent and about to have my utilities cut I pray every day for God to take me but I have to be here for my son I am all he has ... Again this is not an attack on Judge Michael as I said before he was a very nice man trying to do the best job he can i just wanted to let him know that I do not resent him just the system and maybe myself for trying to be so tough and not go the route of pain management I will not take oxy anything as I have seen first hand people becoming addicted and that is not for me ... one last thing when I was in so much pain I said to the doctor I just want to see my mum s no matter how old we are when we hurt I want my mother .

I had my hearing with Judge Sharda Singh on 12/22/14. Right off the bat, I could tell this woman had an attitude and didn't want to to be there that morning. She would ask me the same questions over and over again, even after I answered her. My lawyer had requested for me to be awarded a "Closed Period of Benefits" and after I gave her my testimony, my hearing was done. I finally got my answer from her office today 02/09/15 and it was a denial. I feel that her decision was not fair and was offended at some of ger notes in my letter. 12 pages of insults towards my character...so rude! To anyone reading this, please pray to God, Buddah or whomever you worship, that you don't get her as your ALJ.

I was not paid by the judges decision dated Aug 27 2005 . There seems to be another bank account that is not mine . SSI will not fix this we where paid by the case we appealed . Both SSI and Liberty mutual lied repeatedly to us , me and my so called payee which we can find no bearing of . This family to this day has not been paid correctly , and Liberty Mutual some how revived mine and my minor children's 1099's because ssi thinks I worked for them is this a joke ? We finialy sent everything to the IRS so that we could at least have our taxes fixed hopefully . We will be living in a tent soon if this is not fixed . Thank you Melinda M. Goldman

I had this judge and I can only show empathy for anyone who has this judge. I saw him in November 2012, waited til March 2013 to find out that I was denied...so went to appeal his decision with a bit more evidence of my disability, and have been waiting over a year to just get another hearing. Fortunately, the ODAR came back with a fully favorable decision and I am approved, which I guess is rare. So, if you are assigned to have your hearing with Judge Lebron, according to the statistics, you have a 12% chance. This judge should be sent back to Puerto Rico because that's the only place he has done any good.

This judge did in fact say clearly I am disabled in January 2014 but now its April of 2014 and I still have heard nothing about my case. I am getting worse in my conditions and now I am getting anxiety attacks from not being able to purchase basic everyday items. When I went in front of this judge he asked what he needed yo and kept switching around and said we will come back to that question and didn't. I really think I was forgotten about. All judges should have two weeks maximum to make a decision. If not be penalized for not doing so. Also when calling to get answers the lady who answers the phone don't even know the panel is!

I have been I front of this Judge twice and both times he had to be reminded of my lung surgery. On June 13, 2013 he made a decision and took it back when his assistant reminded him that I was in front of him once before. Talk about incompetent! When I saw him for my second time he was complaing how expensive it was for him to get an x-ray and rumbled on about his illnesses. It's been over a year now and I am still waiting for his decision. This judge is easly confused and has to be redirected by the attorney repeatily, my attorney needs OVER 8 hours of sleep do deal with this judge. His retirement is over due.

I've had a couple of hearings with this judge. He's new to the bench within the last couple of years and I think he's originally from NY. Tends to work quickly, talks a little fast, asks general questions first, then turns over to rep. My impression is that he is very fair and awards cases with merit, although his award rate has come down significantly from when he first started.

Judge: Roberto Lebron
1/4/2013 12:36:19 PM

This Judge has absolutely no idea what he's doing on the bench. He is beyond incompetent, incapable of following the rules and regulations set forth by the administration and has zero knowledge of the law and how it applies to cases. He violates claimants' due process rights, unnecessarily schedules examinations and wastes governmental resources. He uses cardiologists for orthopedic cases, fails to issue decisions within a reasonable time-frame and has no grasp on the law. He actually used to have 2 doctors and a vocational expert for every single case, until someone at SSA finally reprimanded him for his blatant waste of governmental resources. He has no business adjudicating any kind of case.

Judge: Roberto Lebron
12/6/2012 4:36:17 PM

Mr. Lebron was extremly adversarial and incompetent. He is totally incoherent and vasolates from topic to topic. His illiteracy of the law and the understanding of medical records is incomprehensible. To address him as " Your Honor" is a joke. The Uninted States government should spare the disabled society ,and dismiss him of his position. They say ignorance of the law is no excuse. So based on that premise, Roberto gets a pass, because being a moron is not against the law

Judge: Roberto Lebron
11/5/2012 9:42:15 PM

I went in front of this judge and he was very abusive. He stated that my medical condition wasn't that severe even after multiple surgeries. He further stated or refused to look at my medical evidence. No one has a chance with this gentlement. Mr. Lebron is an embarestment for the social security administration. I give this man 00000000000000000 stars.

Judge: Roberto Lebron

The statistics on allowances and denials by this judge are indeed most curious. In Puerto Rico, he granted benefits in the vast majority of cases, and he issued decisions in a similar manner when he first came to White Plains. By contrast, he now denies benefits in more than twice as many cases as he allows them. This radical change, in so short a period, is hardly compatible with a picture of a fair, knowledgeable and independent judge.

It's astonishing that this judge "Lebron" had a favorable rating of approving cases in San Juan at 82% in 2010 supporting his fellow Puerto Ricans with very few denials. Since he has been in White Plains from late 2010 to 2012, he has overwelmingly denied cases and has only approved 25% as of 2012. This judge should retire! He is very undecisive and was "all over the place" during testomony with a report that was documented in the same manner by him and not true. I feel that this is a form of prejudice by him with his statistics to prove it. Retire Lebron and stay in San Juan!

I agree with the comment above. I was in a lot of pain when I went in to present my case, and also stated how uncomfortable I was having to ask for this assistance. Judge McCormack was very accommadationg, kind, and made sure I understood every question and even asked if I needed to get up at one time. I too left with peace for either way his decision goes. the best part was having a good judge.

Today, April,11,2012, I was given the opportunity state my disability case before Judge Kieran Mccormack. I can't began say how comfortable I was in presenting my case. Judge Mccormack was very professional and clearing explaining any question I didn't understand. Whether my answers were harmful to my case, I was very candid. That said, no matter what the results come out to be, I left with a sense of peace. Couldn't have gotten a better judge.
