Completely disagree with his verdict. Was not able go into any considerable length explaining health issues and limitations. His letter said that there are "numerous jobs" that I would qualify for but did not, and arguably could not provide one. Very disappointed in this judge and in our government. I have worked since I was old enough to be legally eligible to, 15.5 years old. I worked until I was no longer able. I have never used or benefited from any form of government assistance. Unbelievable. I don't know how out of touch you have to be with human health to come to this verdict.

I had a hearing on September the 9th 2019, and I've been disabled since 2008 and became totally disabled in 2012 and inspite of the medical evidence and the conclusions of the employment specialist that stated that I could not work even on a menial job Miss Virginia Robinson took it upon her ownself to remove evidence from the record and set aside the judgement and therefore took it upon herself to deny my claim. I feel that she is a perjuice impartial biased racist person who has no compassion aand or forethought for anyone she feels as if she is the, jury and executioner. I'm really wondering how many people she's actually done this too this judge needs to be investigated and a complaint brought before the ethics and judicial committee. I for one will proceed as such bc she clue of what my daily life or routine is like nor does know the pain and difficulty that I've had to deal with since I have been deemed disabled. If anyone else has had issues with this judge please email me so that we can file a class action lawsuit against her with respect to her unwarranted actions and unnecessary decisions made even when medical professionals and the evidence has back such claim.

The judge is completely inept! I have a spinal injury I received from work, and after 2 surgeries, countless injections, and more physical therapy than you can imagine, I have found a place I can deal with. I live EVERY day in pain and take a full medicine cabinet full of meds. I was also assaulted back in 2012 and have severe PTSD among other conditions that I have struggled. I can't sit, stand, or walk for less than 2 hours! Some ho she says I'm not a candidate for disability. Her reasons were comical and were based on her opinion, and not at all to do with the evidence she was given! This person should not be allowed to have any say over people's lives! The occupational therapist who was on the phone at the hearing said there was a 0% chance of finding gainful employment! She says in her assesment that she "doesn't take stock" in parts of evidence that are pretty crucial! She went by opinion and not the facts and now my life gets put on hold yet again!

I had Judge Miller today for the second time. After reading all the negative comments I felt I would share my experience. As o stated this is my second hearing with him. Although he denied me I will be fair and say he wasn’t a bad judge like so many stated. He gave me his full attention and he was respectful to me. That’s my personal opinion in regards to the way he handled the case. Of course I wish it went my way I can’t knock him for the way I was treated.

I saw this judge in 2016, and he denied me right away. He did not take my Doctor's opinions or medical records into consideration. He also talked to me like I was lying in court. The VE that was there named a few jobs I could do, and my lawyer stated the case against those, and she agreed. The judge asked her for her final report and said I could do 0 jobs with my conditions. I appealed, and again was denied. But my lawyer stood by my side and took it to Federal court. After about 6 months, I received a letter saying that this judge made many many mistakes and they are remanding it back to the Alj for another hearing to see me again. The letter stated over 10 mistakes he made while we were in court. I am pretty sure I have to see the same judge again, but my lawyer states I may get someone else. I'm sure I'll get the judge who has a 26% approval rate again. But this time, I'm seeing him over video instead of in person so he cannot intimidate me. I also have many more medical and mental conditions that are included in my medical reports. If he denies me again, I will know FOR SURE he is just doing it to do it!!! BEWARE IF YOU GET THIS JUDGE!!!!! I have also heard his wife is an alj as well and she denies everyone too!!

I before Judge Hilton on March 27, 2018. Although, I did not have any representation, he didn’t make me feel clueless about what was going on. He presides over the evidence, and took into consideration from their expert witness and the vocational expert. Because the medical evidence wasn’t updated since 2016 (when I was denied) he ask for an examination, and updated doctor records. No matter what the outcome will be, thank you Judge Hilton, for being a fair and honest judge.

Judge: Lynn Ginsberg
2/2/2017 11:13:41 AM

My hearing was January 11th 2017. Needless to say I was present without an attorney, nervous and didn't know what expect. All I knew is what I heard about how hard the judges are and how mean. I walked in a court room and faced a very compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding judge. I am suffering from many disorders one being anxiety, and I couldn't thank her enough for helping me through this day to calm me down to get me composed enough to talk through her questions. I'm not sure what her decision I'd yet, but I know it will be one thst is fair and I know that she can see who's needing their disability and who isn't. Thank you again Judge Ginsberg for hearing this day. Sincerely, Elizabeth

I received my written decision by this Judge JOSEPH HAJJAR, I found so many inconsistencies with my testimony, I will appeal this decision and win but with your mistakes you didn't take my treating physicians reports into affect my life is going to suffer. You were wrong and I'm coming for your job. You have a VE maybe he could've suggested that I can do your job. You call yourself a judge, just like the state examainers call there selves doctors. All you people think that your professionals in your trade. You Are the lowest form of life.

I had a hearing this week (Dec 22 2016) where Judge Ginsberg was assigned to hear my case. I had no idea what to expect. After 31/2 years of dealing with my disability I didn't think I would be as emotional about it that I ended up being that day. I tried hard to compose myself but the years of dealing with this seemed to take over instead as I realized I had a very compassionate person in front of me that seemed to understand my struggle and really listen to me. Whether I am granted my request for disability or not I feel her decision will be one I trust and can live with. Thank You again Judge Ginsberg for being so kind to me.

I look online today to find out this judge has denied my claim I am in heart failure, I have an ef fraction of 25% have a defibulator doctors have told my condition is only going to get worse. I have met all the "BLUE BOOK" requirements. I havent been able to work since 2015 due to my condition. I had 1 cardiologist for this condition and from a very reputable hospital in the Cleveland Clinic, he obviously didnt take anything into an account on what she put in the records. This judge is just there to deny claims. I am out of time and know where else to turn. I am homeless and another appeal is going to last over a year I wont make it. they wonder why around this time of the year so many commit suicide. So Marry Christmas to You Judge Hajjar. And good luck to any that gets this judge he is only going to deny you

Judge: Lynn Ginsberg
11/21/2016 1:43:22 AM

My hearing was on September 16, 2016. I don't feel my hearing went well. I probably will get a denial letter. Judge Ginsberg is a very good judge. I did not not have good representation. The hearing started late because he was in another hearing. He didn't spend much time preparing me for the hearing. I was extremely anxious and wasn't able to answer questions. She is professional and I could tell she works hard to understand your case to make a decision within the laws of ssdi. Be prepared with your case.

Although a decision has not yet been made on my case, overall this judge, although formal & polite, appeared to be very biased against me in regards to some of the questions that she asked, and they manner in which she asked them. I was not treated with dignity or respect, especially whenever I would assert myself & attempt to elaborate upon my lifelong conditions & how they have impacted and limited me from being able to work any full-time job in the competitive marketplace. I came away from this experience feeling very disparaged, and disheartened. Claimants are already suffering from conditions which make life harder to bear. It does not help to be treated with such disregard & prejudice, not to mention the time which we have to wait, and the often demoralizing process that some claimants are put through. Also, a lot more weight seemed to be focused on the fact that my mere chronological age is under the age of 50, than on the facts of my case. Just as many 'younger' people find it difficult to find jobs which are seeking older applicants. It does not seem, from what I heard, that many of these people dealing with these cases truly understand what the market is really like out there, especially for people who struggle with handicaps & limitations. Their vocational specialists are also not required to cull stats about jobs that are available in a person's local area. They only must show the 'national' stats. Nevertheless, all of this is beside the point. My claim for benefits is based on the fact that I cannot maintain full-time employment due to my conditions-not just any type of work. I definitely felt that this fact was brushed over by this judge. All in all, she was formal, and polite, but also very biased & seemingly limited in her depth of understanding concerning my struggles and conditions. However, with that said, I have every intention of fighting this on the next appeals levels, should it be denied.

I feel the decision by the judge was unfair. My appearance seemed to aggravate her, knowing my looks have a lot be desired. Statements were made that gave me every reason to believe my IQ ranged somewhere around 60 because the VE basically called me a moron without saying it. She said I was only capable of doing the lowest form of work and quoted all those jobs available. When I spoke, I heard snickers, like they all thought I was a simpleton or cretin. My disease is the 6th leading killer in the world! I was denied with a very unfavorable conclusion. I understand why people commit suicide from the cold and quiet slaughter of human character made by these judges.

Judge: Virginia M Robinson
9/14/2016 3:08:28 PM

Judge Robinson is statistically the worst judge in WA. My original attorney quit when she found out who the hearing judge would be. All these lawyers play the odds. They have to win a certain percentage of cases and collect their maximum fee out of it to make it worth their while. My attorney, and others I’ve heard about, don’t see the odds in their favor in Judge Robinson’s court room so they quit the case. In my case one of the factors in my disability stems from a back condition called kyphosis. In exaggerated cases it’s what’s known as a hunchback. The condition causes me a lot of pain and mobility problems. The employment specialist at the hearing decided I could work as an industrial cleaner and Judge Robinson bought that statement hook line and sinker. Seriously? An industrial cleaner? Do these idiots have any idea what that job entails? It's usually a hard physical labor job. Maybe Judge Robinson would have better stats if she weren’t an idiot.

Judge Ginsberg's office (legal assistants) have been very courteous and much more helpful than the offices in St. Louis, MO where they continually said they never received my medical records verifying that I indeed have Lupus, accelerated degeneration of most joints including spine, severe or anaphylactic shock reactions to medications needed for treatments, and other records. Judge Ginsberg's office has kept up with all of my records thus far and has answered my questions fully.

I dont think this judge was fair. He didnt take into account anything my treating doctors had to say, only to give all weight with a state examiner that had either never met me, or briefly met me. My life has been so negatively affected by this decision, and appeals take over a year. It isnt fair that he could take this decision so lightly when my entire life depends on it, and when legal errors are made,it will take over a year to fix it. Maybe he would be a little more compassionate if his pay was suspended for an entire year every time he made a mistake in someones case. Just because it will eventually be paid if approved doesnt mean its ok to make someone suffer for a year like I am suffering now. Not knowing if your going to have a place to live is a horrifying feeling, and being absolutely helpless to the situation is even worse.

I was very surprised and somewhat offended that the judge went on the record to ask me about my experience representing claimants. What if this had been my very first hearing, would that have made him biased? The judge was very pleasant and very fair. I have a significant amount of experience, but what about new reps? It was the first time I had encountered this, and it wasn't pleasant, but the judge was very nice.

The VA would not submit the letter that would have granted me my disability, stating that it was a 'conflict of interest'. Only after I had a meeting with the VAMC administrator did they send the letter to this judge. There was no regulation or conflict of interest that prevented them from sending the letter. However, the judge made his decision 5 days prior to the release of this letter. Thanks VA! Now I lose my house, my car, and my child will be homeless while in her senior year of high school. She is an AP honors student and will be homeless. I worked for 35 years. Served my country. SSA's own doctor said I was disabled, the vocational expert said there were no jobs in the economy for me, yet the VA and this judge made a horrible decision. Time for the media and the VA OIG to get involved.

Judge: Virginia M Robinson

On January 15, 2014 I had a hearing with this woman. First thing out of her mouth was " I see you are a dog breeder". I am going to make a long story short. I had gone in front of Judge Adams who brought it up because of an old face book page (had one litter). He denied me, and we refiled a new claim that was not suppose to be used, but she used it anyway. So when those words came out of her mouth, my Attorney's jaw dropped. So we finished up with the vocational woman saying that I could be a waitress. ( 10 lb weight limit, can't walk more that 10 minutes without a lot of pain). Then again back to the old case, and she said that I was 49 when I started this process, I am going to be 55 this year. She did this on purpose. My attorney filed for an appeal which should be coming up soon. He said that she committed reversible error by going outside the period at issueand cites testimony and documentary evidence from the previous decision to buttress the current decision, completing ignoring black letter law of res judicata and thereby committing reversible error. This is just a couple of things that happened, there is about 6 in total that she messed up. I have stated nothing but the truth in this statement, and have records to prove it. I see people on judge judy all the time on SSDI and they get it for the stupidest things! I have many issues and it's just not right.

Judge: Yelanda Collins

I didn't think it was possible to feel more depressed, anxious, sad, panicked, and sick. Thank you for proving me wrong Ms. Collins. I was a tax-paying citizen for 16 years before becoming ill. I told Ms. Collins of my plan of action to get well in the not-to-distant future. I told the truth as nervous as I was. What I received in return was an unfavorable decision in which 2 things were stated that I never said (and I am sure I didn't say them because they are just plain untrue) and most of what I did say was omitted or ignored. This has been such a heavy, dejecting process. I am sad, but I am also so angry that this woman who knows nothing about me (and has the facts wrong about what she thinks she does know) gets to decide if I am sick enough to use the Social Security that I have paid into my whole life for what it is intended for. I understand that many do take advantage of the system. I told the truth and had all my ducks in a row. So, why am I sitting here worrying about how I am going to tell my kids that we have to move our of the only home they have ever lived in?

Judge Robert C King is one of the worst judges in all of the entire United States of America. let alone "Akron, OH". He is very rude and very uncompassionate to peoples conditions. I know his job is to Deny, Deny, Deny as much as humanly possible and his record shows that. His demeanor is he is sick and tired of hearing people basicly whine and complain, but you are there for that reason to just get your point/disease across. But that is "His Job"! He needs to retire and let someone else move up in that office who can give a Fresh perspective on cases. My opinion only. Thank You for your time.

I have read his book and appeared before him many times. There are some postings that say his book and,in fact,Judge Marks is anti-lawyer. I am from Youngstown where he lives and I can tell you that nothing is further from the truth. He is a true lawyer's Judge. Your clients might be underserving now and then but you are going to get a fair shake and then some from him.

Good judge. Has excellent demeanor at hearings and is respectful to claimants. His decisions are generally consistent with my position on the case.

I am an attorney who came from out of state to represent a client who had moved to Virginia. Appearing before Judge Coughlin was a pleasure. She is professional, fair, and has a wonderful disposition for the bench.

I was not happy with my client's outcome but he provided an interesting hearing, lots of questions on esoteric matters. I thought a real jurist but sometimes a little odd. Late note:I just got a response to my post hearing memo and he reversed himself. He communicated with me by email and said he was impressed with my memo and reconsidered, giving the benefit of the doubt to the claimant. Go figure.

I agree, very professional, very fair and has had a higher than most pay rate.

I note that Judge Marks numbers for 2010 were only for 10 months as he retired at the end of October. On that basis his numbers don't look too good for claimants but if you look at his numbers in Cleveland where was the HOCALJ, his favorables were significantly higher.
