Very unsupportive of fibromyalgia claims. Even if you have the support of your doctors (even multiple doctors) he will ignore them in contradiction to Social Security requirements which require that their opinions be given determinative weight, just because he doesn't like the disease. If you have a fibro claim, try to get another judge because you will likely not get approved.

I had my hearing with ALJ Martinez on January 18, 2013. On February 8, 2013, I learned ALJ Martinez denied my claim. I immediately appealed, and on March 1, 2013, the Appeals Council vacated and remanded ALJ Martinez's decision. The SSA transferred my case to Jericho, NY on March 15, 2013. On May 6, 2013, an ALJ based in Jericho, NY (using the exact same medical evidence that ALJ Martinez had access to on January 18, 2013), approved my claim without the need for a re-hearing.

Evidence doesn't really matter. That may help or not. Because he does not review the evidence, his cases are often reversed on appeal.

Beware! Medical evidence is not enough, bases decisions on personal opinion and bias, even in contradiction to medical opinion.
